Sale on approval: The time period and working area for the field trial are defined by the responsible representative, and must take place in the presence of an APV representative. The field trial is always free of charge; in the case of withdrawal after doing a field trial, however, the customer will be informed of the actual calculated costs incurred by the vendor. The customer is obliged to pay this amount to APV within 14 days. Field trials are only performed after a written agreement between the customer and vendor has been signed. 8 Twin disc spreader ZS 200 M4 Thanks to its design and functions, the ZS 200 M4 is THE slug pellet spreader. Due to its independently driven spreading impellers, an absolutely symmetrical spread pattern is achieved even with larger working widths. The compact construction of this type and various mounting options cover a wide range of applications. 12 Which is the right pneumatic SEEDer FoR me? Overview APV PS-series: "standard"-series: PS 120 M1, PS 200 M1, PS 300 M1, PS 500 M2 and PS 800 M1 (see page 30-34) fertiliser-edition: PS 120 M1 D, PS 200 M1 D, PS 300 M1 D and PS 500 M2 D (see page 36-38) special application: 9-16 outlets (PS ) or 32 outlets (PS 800) (see page 44) Basic considerations: What do you want to spread with the Pneumatic Seeder? Please note that our PS implements are suitable for versatile operations. Think about the future: If you might want to work with larger working widths or bigger and heavier seeds at a later time, a Pneumatic Seeder with a hydraulic fan instead of an electric fan would probably be more suitable for you. If you would like to distribute corrosive seeds (fertiliser and micro-granules) then focus exclusively on Pneumatic Seeders of the fertiliser edition (these are completely corrosionprotected) If equipped with hydraulic fan, 1 single acting valve (coupling size 3) and 1 pressure-free return (without reduction) with coupling size 4, are required. The seeder will be mounted at the front on the cultivator s drawbar and the longest hose will be 7 m long. Therefore, due to the hose length, a PS unit with hydraulic fan is required. Mr. Johnson buys a PS with hydraulic fan. Selection of the right hose length: Good seeding results are dependent on the hose length and efficient routing of the hose. The following functions make our bestseller special: precise speed calibration, exact regulation of the fan as well as easy calibration. Control Box is characterised by its user-friendliness (intuitive menu layout with self-explanatory symbols) and its large colour touchscreen. It represents a further development of the 5.2 model according to the farmers' needs. For example, the control box enables automatic pre-seeding of the seed and the creation of a seed database. 14 Control box 3.2 Control box 5.7 Control Box is the basic version of the control box for Pneumatic Seeders from APV and offers the most important basic seeding functions. The spread rate and the speeds of the electrical drive can be electronically adjusted. Control Box is optimised for the Pneumatic Seeder PS 300 M1 D TWIN. With an optional adapter cable, it enables the control of two pneumatic seeders independently of one another. 21 "My APV seeder saves me time and money with cover crops." Robert Rieger, farmer With the PS 300 M1 D TWIN it is possible to apply two different seed types from the same device. FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE Pneumatic seeder Twin The 300 l hopper is divided by a centre partition into two chambers with a volume of 150 l each. The PS includes a divided meter roll powered by two independent drive motors. It is possible, to equip one half of the meter roll with fine metering cartridges and the other with other with coarse metering cartridges. As a result, two different seed sizes in different quantities can be applied precisely. With the air flaps it is possible to adapt the air quantity to the different seeds. Control Box 5.7 makes it possible to control each half of the meter roll separately. Therefore, a calibration test is possible for each half of the meter roll. An additional function is the use of two fill level sensors in order to recognise which hopper side is empty.
