2 Crono answers the basic needs of today s farming: FERTILIZING WITH GAIN LONG LIFE AVOIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE EASY USE VIBRO SYSTEM Without Agitator The VIBRO-SYSTEM is a hopper device with a vibrating bottom that constantly and continuously feeds the distribution unit without using any agitator that would break the products. It allows and guarantees the even measuring of the chosen quantities. Thanks to this device, it is now possible to distribute any type of fertilizer, from granular or powder fertilizers to pellets, compost and seeds without altering their physical features. The VIBRO SYSTEM solves all the problems connected with the: Breaking of fertilizer granules and seeds Heating and lumps Spreading of any type of fertilizer even with critical weather conditions Evenness of distributed quantities: the system makes independent the delivered quantity from the level of hopper filling The Crono spreaders are equipped with two special vibrant grids made in stainless steel (as a standard outfit). Two are their purposes: retaining the fertilizer lumps and keeping constant the fertilizer pressure on the feed system with any product volume inside the hopper, thanks to their position at the bottom of the hopper itself. 3 The TPS enables the operator to check the correct length of the PTO shaft before starting. TPS Transmission Protection System In case the length of the PTO shaft is not correct, the TPS intervenes by transmitting the anomalous flexion stress exclusively to four flexible rubber joints, thus preserving the transmission unit. The correct length of the PTO shaft and so the exact work angle of the driving gearbox can be easily checked by the alignment of two pointers located on the frame and on the transmission unit. Therefore the TPS allows safe work in every working condition. A must-have feature offered by the Crono spreaders is the lateral feeding of the distribution vanes. In this way neither pulverizing nor breaking occur during distribution. The product is routed along the blades with progressive acceleration, thus producing a continuous and regular flow. The lateral opening solves the distribution problems on uneven ground and guarantees optimum evenness. C.V.% OVERLAPPED REAL DISTANCE m. The excellent distribution of the product is guaranteed by a constant Coefficient of Variation (C.V.) up to 36m and always lower than 10%.

SYSTEM Forward Speed Calibration Two high-resolution magnetic sensors, positioned directly on the shutters and unaffected by powder or atmospheric agents, interact with the linear actuators to obtain always the exact positioning of the opening system. The measuring is obtained through the rotation of two stainless steel discs. One of them has three variable geometry openings that give a delivery curve fit both for the micro and the large quantities NPK KG/MIN OPENING

5 A 7-Inch Multifunction Color Monitor, compact and extremely robust, with an integrated GPS antenna and Virtual Com USB interface, allows easy, intuitive interacting with the machine s main settings: Choosing a fertilizer among the many stored ones. Setting up personal requirements and fertilizing characteristics. Knowing of the treated hectares and distributed rates. Saving, printing and transferring the stored jobs even via Bluetooth. Hydraulic Control The opening of the shutters at the preselected program rate or their complete closing is obtained instantaneously thanks to the action of two double effect hydraulic cylinders. In this way during the opening or closing phases all the possible errors due to the low reaction speed of the linear actuators are cancelled. This system guarantees the immediate reaching of the actual required dose even at the beginning of each passage, when the tractor is accelerating, and at the end of the passage when it is requested the immediate interruption of the distribution. Two Sensors signal the opening or closing of the hydraulic system and therefore the activation or deactivation spreading status. Through the integrated GPS detector the request of spreading activation is signaled to the operator when the tractor has travelled a distance from the start of the field equal to the spreading width of the fertilizer spreader. The same two sensors also guarantee the correct use of the spreader for the border distribution when only one of the two discs has to be fed. Opening System At the beginning of each work the linear actuators position themselves at a preselected stroke. The linear actuator adjustment and the hydraulic control determine the preset opening of the shutters according to the fertilizing program. Each minimum variation of the forward speed modifies the adjustment of the shutters by means of the linear actuators and the levers to keep always the correct dose rate.

6 The machine can be used also manually In case of a breakdown of the rate calibration electronic system that may determine the need of technical assistance, the operator still maintains the possibility to use the spreader manually, that is to say with a fixed, manual rate adjustment. The opening will be selected by means of the specific knobs on the spreader according to the spreading tables supplied with the machine and depending on the type of fertilizing work to do. The speed during distribution will be kept as close as possible to the envisaged speed given by the GPS system and previously displayed on the screen. IP67 Isolated Control Box mounted on the chassis in a protected position but at the same time easily accessi- ble for possible maintenance operations. ADJUSTMENT The Cavallo double disc spreaders are equipped with an automatic positioning system, which optimizes the fertilizer flow towards the spreading disc according to the increase of the supplied quantity. It is also possible to intervene manually on the earlier or later outflow of the fertilizer onto the disc, in order to compensate the spreading, if it is too concentrated at the centre or at the sides, due to different physical fertilizer features with special weather conditions.
