BKF seeks to differentiate itself through continual reviews and investments in technology. For instance, BKF have recently invested in a centralized plastic material handling system with a processing rate of 1.4 tonnes per hour. This is controlled by a fully integrated Network Control System and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) coupling station. Research and Development is also very important to us. Our current development project is the Trexel MuCell Process which produces microcellular formed structures through the use of nitrogen or carbon dioxide, thereby reducing the weight of the product without compromising its strength.
