The LISG cryogenic pipe suppors are sandardized and designed according o recognized inernaional echnical codes and sandards. They cover pipe sizes ranging from O 21.3mm o O 965.

Insulaion Maerial The insulaion maerial of he cryogenic pipe suppors is made from fire-rearding polyurehane foam of high densiy (- PUF) and forms an inegral par of he piping insulaion.

This process provides uniform properies and ensures dimensional sabiliy wih no warping. I also produces clean sharp edges ha fi nealy wih he adjacen line insulaion maerial on sie.

These producs are normally used in indusrial processes for he producion, ranspor and disribuion of liquefied gases. These can be propane and buane (LPG), mehane (LNG), ehylene, nirogen or ammonia. The LISG cryogenic pipe suppors are sandardized and designed according o recognized inernaional echnical codes and sandards. They cover pipe sizes ranging from O 21.3mm o O 965.2mm, wih insulaion hicknesses from 25mm o mm. The suppors are made from maerials suiable for he specified loads and emperaure range (operaing emperaure down o -196 ). Insulaion Maerial The insulaion maerial of he cryogenic pipe suppors is made from fire-rearding polyurehane foam of high densiy (- PUF) and forms an inegral par of he piping insulaion. Producion of -PUF Shells The -PUF is monolihically molded in heavy duy molds under carefully conrolled condiions in respec of emperaure and humidiy. This process provides uniform properies and ensures dimensional sabiliy wih no warping. I also produces clean sharp edges ha fi nealy wih he adjacen line insulaion maerial on sie. To guaranee form sabiliy, he insulaion cradles are carefully sored for a fixed period of ime in order o harden. The moldings incorporae carefully sized sep joins (radial and longiudinal) o mach he layering of he adjoining line insulaion. This mehod, also known as shiplapping, provides a reliable inerlocking inerface wih each layer and prevens a direc hea pah from he surface of he insulaion hrough o he surface of he pipe. Insulaion foam cradles wih hicknesses up o 50mm are supplied as single layer wihou a sep. Foam cradles wih a hickness of 80mm and mm are supplied as single layer wih an exended sep a eiher end. The foam cradles for ype 56 wih a hickness of 130mm and above are supplied in wo layers wih wo seps. The insulaion foam cradles for ype 57 line sop & fixed suppors will be supplied as monolihically molded segmens o achieve axial load ransmission. The single-layer as well as he double-layer -PUF insulaion cradles have sepped, longiudinal gaps. The size of hese joins mus be adjused during insallaion o a specified gap dimension, so ha he clam ping force applied by he disc spring boling prevens a relaive displacemen beween clamp base and piping. Once insalled he longiudinal gaps shall be filled wih a resilien foam insulaion maerial. laminaed aluminum/polyeser foil is facory-bonded o he ouermos surface of he ouer layer of he -PUF assembly. This vapour barrier is supplied oversized o overlap he longiudinal joins and is sealed a sie wih adhesive ape of he same maerial. irecly afer insallaion of he cryogenic pipe suppor, all exposed -PUF foam surfaces mus be proeced o preven moisure ingress. s a rule, a cryogenic, fire-rearding vapor barrier of elasomer masic is applied for his purpose.
