5 imulation Process/Design: Steeplechase has been simulating strips for over 10 years using DYNAFORM simulation to test and prove the die design process. We use VISI on the surfaces and LS DYNA to solve. Once strip approved, moved to design.

6 Quality: ll gauges and parts are put through a thorough CMM nspection procedure to ensure accuracy and repeatability to eet customer standards and GD&T requirements. Production arts are routinely checked for accuracy following each CNC, DM, and jig grinding step. Reverse engineering is available hrough the use of our Faro Edge portable CMM/Laser canner. 7 hy VISI? - In 2009, Steeplechase was approached by NASA to develop Nozzles for the Johnson Space center. Before VISI Steeplechase could quote 5 parts a day -With VISI Quoting parts became a lot less cumbersome. -We had the ability to do multiple quotes in a short period of time. -VISI Blank was helpful with quoting accuracy and material savings. - Steeplechase currently has: VISI Blank, VISI Progress, VISI Modeling, VISI Machining, VISI TDD (Advanced Modeling)

They took hours to ert. t times could be upwards of 30 tes for one design to open. reduced the file size atically. ing VISI vs Mastercam, VISI ced file sized by 75% rn, could then produce STEP to send to customers. e ASIN project made it apparent needed to switch to VISI. We had grown Mastercam Design.

9 Design Types n we started in 1999, plechase was a small to ium size job shop. mainly did brackets and ust shields. 015 with VISI we do innerpanels, complex brackets of us shapes and sizes and rial types. are currently into medium to size Progressive, Transfer In Die Transfers, along with year we completed 3 sets em Dies.

10 I Machining Steeplechase is looking forward to using Auto Recognition and VISI Compass to complement and Automate our tool pathing process. Steeplechase so firmly believes in this process that we have purchased 2 more seats of VISI Machining. We are in the infancy stages of this process and look forward to orking with TST Software Support and in it s implementation. We plan on running every tool path made through multiple post processers.
