The OEM interior oering consists o a wide variety o power distribution options utilizing components rom Eaton s CH and R loadcenter product lines. With high-volume, standardized products, OEMs can expect to receive high-quality products covering conigurations meeting virtually any power distribution need. Coupled with Eaton s expertise in circuit breaker design and manuacturing, OEM interiors provide solid power distribution and circuit protection in a compact, easy-to-install package. Interiors are oered rom 2 to 42 circuits and rom 70 to 225. Quality uilt in ISO 9002 certiied manuacturing acilities, customers can be assured o the process quality in place or the manuacture o these products. Utilizing the latest in computer-controlled plating, painting, molding, stamping and welding processes, Eaton s customers have come to expect consistent high-quality rom shipment to shipment. Two Products Oer Design Flexibility s a manuacturer o two lines o loadcenters, Eaton is in a unique position to oer the broadest range o interiors in the market. Each line has its own unique characteristics that appeal to various segments o the market. OEM interiors are UL recognized components and are listed in either o the ollowing UL iles: E874 or E The CH interiors eature 00% copper bus and use the CH 3/4-inch (9. mm) wide circuit breaker, which minimizes panel space. Recognized by contractors or its sturdy design, the CH interior will appeal to those customers seeking an industrial quality bolted bus bar and the space saving o 3/4-inch (9. mm) per bus stab. With a typical 2 circuit CH interior, this space savings amounts to an inch and a hal savings over its -inch (25.4 mm) counterparts. The stab rating o the CH interiors is 40 maximum meaning that the handle rating o breakers mounted across rom one another may not exceed 40. The R interiors are manuactured o ormed, plated aluminum or copper, and use Eaton s Type R -inch (25.4 mm) wide circuit breaker. This design aords customers the most circuit lexibility as many o these interiors allow the installation o standard single- and two-pole breakers as well as duplex (two poles in a -inch (25.4 mm) space) or quadplex (our poles in a 2-inch (50.8 mm) space) breakers. The stab rating o the R interiors is 200 maximum, meaning that the handle rating o the breakers that are mounted across rom one another may not exceed 200. The interiors are designed or either horizontal (singlerow breaker mounting), or vertical (double-row breaker mounting). To comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, i mounted horizontally, when the breaker is ON, the handle should be in the UP position. 2 s and Certiications Class CTL National Electrical Code Paragraph requires branch circuit panelboards to be provided with physical means to prevent the installation o more overcurrent devices than that number o which the enclosure was designed, rated and approved. Class CTL Duplex, Quadplex and twin breakers (identiied by a catalog number preix D, Q, QC and CHT) are equipped with a UL listed rejection tab over the line terminal. ll OEM interiors have appropriately notched stabs to accept these rejection tab Class CTL breakers. Duplex, Quadplex and twin breakers manuactured without the rejection tab (identiied by a catalog number preix R, RD and CHNT) are available or replacement purposes in older interiors. Product Selection Federal Speciications ll loadcenter enclosures meet Federal Speciications W-P-5b, Type, Class 2 requirements. ll 20/240V breakers, both -inch (25.4 mm), /2-inch (2.7 mm) and 3/4-inch (9. mm) per pole meet the requirement o Federal Speciications W-C 375/ Gen Type.
