Shangri-La Shadings Hardware Options All Shangri-La hardware options feature a continuous pull cord which allows for smooth, trouble free operation. Custom Metal Roller System The metal roller is a traditional roller shade design. A bead chain raises and lowers the shading. Cord Type: Bead cord is available in white, bronze, black or steel. Motorization: Custom Metal Roller Shadings can be motorized. Cordless PowerTouch Push Button Control: Custom Roller hardware is not available with PowerTouch. UltraSleek Head Rail The UltraSleek Head Rail is a low profile white aluminum rail with a fabric head rail insert. This head rail is only available with 2 fabrics and is available on all 2 Shangri-La fabrics on shadings up to 84 wide by 84 length. Specify when ordering. Head Rail Color: White aluminum rail with a fabric insert. Designer Metallic Hardware Upgrade: UltraSleek is available in Oil Rubbed Bronze. Cord Type and Color: White or bronze loop cord matches your hardware choice. Bead cord is optional in white, bronze, black or steel. Motorization: UltraSleek Head Rail cannot be motorized. DoorStyles attach to the window frame or door with silver hinges and tilt open and closed. DoorStyles Shadings do not raise or lower, only tilt open and closed. Head Rail Consistency For a consistent look, if an order has multiple Shangri-La Shadings with varying width, lengths and fabrics outside the UltraSleek maximum sizes, we recommend ordering all shadings with UltraSleek Plus Head Rail. Please specify when ordering. Fabric Collections and Vane Sizes Shangri-La Window Shadings are available with different fabric collections. Collection Vane Size Light Filtering and Room Darkening 2, 2½ and 3 Paradise Light Filtering 2 and 3 Linen Light Filtering 2 Please Note: Room Darkening fabrics are not blackout fabrics. Knitted fabric may experience minor weave variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in light bowing, puckering and dimpling of the Shangri-La material. This is considered normal and does not constitute a failure in either workmanship or materials. The possible variations are minor and have been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of the product. Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals A silver operating handle allows the fabric to tilted open and closed. An operating pole is available for hard to reach applications. DoorStyles is available on 2 and 3 fabrics. DoorStyles is not available with 2½ fabrics. Head Rail Color: Color Coordinated Cord Type and Motorization: Not applicable. 9

If a shading with the UltraSleek Plus or the UltraSleek Head Rail is raised above 24 in the reverse roll mode, there is a possibility of the fabric rubbing on the head rail. Comfortex reserves the right NOT to warrant wear and tear of fabric if damaged by roll-up in excess of

13 Length Considerations with Shangri-La Shadings Comfortex will fabricate your Shangri-La Window Shading to the exact length ordered, when the vanes are in the open (or view-through) position (Figure D). When the vanes are rotated to the closed position, the shading will become slightly shorter. When closed on an inside mount,the shading will be slightly shorter than ordered length. If preferred, Shangri-La can be ordered 3 8 longer than the measured length of the window opening. A slight puckering may occur when the vanes are in the open position. Rotating the vanes closed will cause the bottom rail Open Closed to touch the window sill, Figure D before it begins to raise. Side by Side Alignment When Shangri-La Window Shadings are installed side-byside, vane alignment can be guaranteed within ¼ only if: The shadings are the same color and ordered at the same time. The sum total of the widths of all shadings needing alignment is less than 102. Side-by-side lineup is specified when the order is placed. Omni-View System Shangri-La with UltraSleek, UltraSleek Plus Systems feature the Omni-View Cord System. The Omni-View System provides the ability to manipulate the shading into various viewing positions. There are variations in visibility through the shadings when the vanes are tilted to their maximum open positions. The following five modes can be obtained with standard shading operation when viewing the shading at eye level. Closed top, open bottom: By partially lowering the shading from the fully raised position, the upper portion of your window will become semi-opaque while allowing a clear view below. Fully private: When lowered completely, Shangri-La provides complete privacy and softly diffused light. Partially open: Opening Shangri-La slightly will gradually increase the level of light and allow varying levels of view through. Omni-View System (Continued) View-through when lowered: By completely opening the vanes, Shangri-La provides a softened, veiled view to the outside. View-through when raised: From the open or viewthrough position, continuing to pull down on the back of the cord will raise the fabric allowing a clear view outside from below, and a veiled view above. This exclusive feature allows Shangri-La to be raised up to 24 in this mode. Comfortex recommends that you do not raise the shading more than 24 in the off the sill in the viewthrough when raised mode. Refer to warranty section below for more information. Omni-View is only available with Shangri-La Shadings built with braided cord loop. Cord Information for Shangri-La Shadings Custom Metal Roller System: A beaded cord loop is the only cord option available. Bead cord is available in black, white, bronze and steel. UltraSleek and UltraSleek Plus A braided cord loop is used to raise and lower the shading. White, black or bronze loop cord matches your hardware choice. Bead cord is available in black, white, bronze and steel. The cord loop will measure the length indicated below unless otherwise specified. Shading Length* Standard Loop 16 to (12 ) 27 to (24 ) 40 to (36 ) 60 to (48 ) 84 to (60 ) 108 and greater 6 (72 ) Maximum cord length is 15 feet. Polyester cord can be ordered in custom lengths in 1 foot increments only. * UltraSleek Head Rail maximum shading length is 84. Warranty Information Regarding the Braided Cord Loop on Shangri-La Window Shadings with UltraSleek and UltraSleek Plus The shadings built with a braided cord loop do not have a reverse roll stop. If a shading with the UltraSleek or UltraSleek Plus head rail is raised above 24 in the reverse roll mode, there is a possibility of the fabric rubbing on the head rail. 14 Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Shangri-La DoorStyles Shadings Shangri-La DoorStyles Shadings cover French doors, transoms and sidelights for a look of sheer perfection without a bulky head rail. They attach to the window frame or door with unobtrusive hinges and tilt open and closed with easy to install hardware. An operating handle allows the fabric to be tilted open and closed (Figure E). Fabric All 2 and 3 light filtering and room darkening fabric collections are available as DoorStyle Window Shadings. DoorStyles are not available with 2½ fabrics. Rails and end caps on Shangri-La DoorStyles Shadings are matched to the fabric color. Hinge Handle DoorStyles Hinges and Operating Handles Hinges and operating handles are silver. Length Considerations with Shangri-La DoorStyles Hinge Handle Comfortex will fabricate your Shangri-La DoorStyles to the exact length ordered when the vanes are in the open (or view through) position. When the vanes are tilted to the closed position, the shading will become 1¾ longer. When closed on an inside mount or when used with hold down brackets, a slight puckering may occur. 12

15 NEW Cordless PowerTouch Push Button Control Shangri-La Sheer Shadings can be fabricated with the Cordless PowerTouch Push Button Control option. The PowerTouch option on Shangri-La Shadings is an easy, cord free motorized operation for the budget savvy homeowner. PowerTouch uses Simplicity motors and components. No programming is required with PowerTouch. PowerTouch Operation Press and hold the up or down button on the pendant to adjust the shading position. Release the button to stop the shading at your desired position. No programming is required with PowerTouch. The cordless PowerTouch system is most convenient for adjusting the vanes between open and closed; but can also be used to raise and lower the shading. The Shangri-La Omni-View feature works with Cordless PowerTouch Shadings. Comfortex recommends you do not raise the shading more than 24 in the open position. See page 11 for more information. Shangri-La Head Rail Styles available with Cordless PowerTouch Push Button Control: UltraSleek Plus Head Rail PowerTouch Appearance The Shangri-La PowerTouch wand and pendant is attached to the head rail and requires no additional mounting. The wand and pendant hang down the front of the shading from the head rail. The wand does not touch the fabric. Pendant is 2½ long. The pendant does not need to be mounted to the wall to operate the shading. Wand Pendant PowerTouch Color Options Shadings with Black or Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware will be built with black wand and pendants standard. All other colors will use white wand and pendants. The buttons on the pendant will always be white. The Shangri-La fabrics have the passed GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified certification program for low emitting interior building materials, furnishings, and finish systems. Flame Resistance Shangri-La fabric may be processed with a topical treatment to resist flames and adhere to strict flammability codes. For more information, contact Customer Service at (800) UV Protection Ultraviolet light, entering the home as sunlight, damages furnishings. In time it fades wood floors, furniture, upholstery, draperies, carpeting and artwork. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes natural, undyed fabrics to turn yellow, weakening their fibers and making them look old and worn prematurely. The right window covering can be very effective in blocking ultraviolet rays. Such effectiveness is measured in terms of a % UV blockage rating. The higher the rating, the greater the UV protection. Consequently, there are variations in visibility through the shadings when the vanes are tilted to their maximum open positions. The variations among the products are shown in the below illustration when looking through the shading ¼ of the way up from the bottom. 2 Light Filtering Fabrics 1¼ 2½ Light Filtering Fabrics 2 Room Darkening Fabrics 1 2½ Room Darkening Fabrics Vane Closure (Figure F) Shangri-La vanes are not designed to close tightly. The inherent nature of the fabric will cause a slight increase in the distance from the front sheer to back sheer as you move further down the shading. These vanes do not form a perfect seal against light leakage which is 6" most visible toward the bottom of the shading. Vane overlap ensures that privacy is not compromised. 7/8" Vane closure is measured as the distance Figure F between the front and rear fabric sheers 6 up from the lowest point of the bottom rail, with the shading fully lowered and the vanes closed. On light filtering fabrics, the maximum distance from the front sheer to the back sheer when closed is equal to or less than 5 8 for shadings under 60 and 7 8 for shadings longer than 60. On room darkening fabrics, the distance is 5 8 regardless of shading length. Precise width and length measurements are critical. Fabric width cannot be altered after the shading is fabricated. Please use a metal tape measure for accuracy from home to factory. The head rail must be installed perfectly level and installed evenly to ensure smooth operation. On an inside mount, it is recommended that you check to see that the mounting surface is level and consistent. If your soffit needs to be leveled, this should be done before measuring. 27 /16" UltraSleek Head Rail Hold Down Brackets Shangri-La hold down brackets are made of a clear plastic which fit into holes in the endcap of the bottom rail. 1" Inside Mount Measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Measurements should be taken within the window jamb. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. Comfortex will make the necessary deductions to fit the window opening. Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places - use the smallest of these two measurements. Outside Mount Measure the exact width and length of the area to be covered. On the width, allow at least 1½ of an overlap on each side. An overlap of 3 on each side is recommended. Be sure to take into consideration any obstructions such as window trim, molding, locks and window cranks. Side Mount Side mount is not available with the roller system or with DoorStyles Shadings. Shangri-La may be side mounted using L brackets. For side mounts, follow the instructions for inside mounts. An additional ½ will be taken off the standard inside mount deduction to allow room for the L brackets. The maximum shading width utilizing the side mount option is 48. Extension Brackets Extension or L brackets are available to project the back of the shading from the mounting surface. Those shading with metal roller system, it will project 2½. The extension brackets for UltraSleek and UltraSleek Plus Head Rail projects it 3. Spacer Blocks Spacer blocks project the shading 3 8 from the mounting surface. Use spacer blocks to obtain clearance when obstructions, such as window cranks or door handles, obstruct the movement of the shading. Leveling Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Shangri-La Window Shadings are leveled and weighted in the factory. When installed level, the fabric will not skew when raised. If the head rail is not installed level, skewing can occur that can damage the edge of the fabric. 26 Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Skew Adjusting Bottom Rail After installation, windows that are not square and level may cause the shadings to shift to one side as it rolls up, requiring adjustment of the bottom rail. If the brackets are level it may be necessary to adjust the bottom rail weight. To access the bottom rail weight, release the weight clip on the bottom rail by using a flat blade screwdriver into the weight clip in the bottom rail and turn clockwise. Move the weight in 1 increments toward the side where the fabric is gathering. Secure the weight clips in position by turning them counterclockwise after making the adjustment. Cleaning and Care Weight Clip Shangri-La Shadings are made from a sturdy, knitted polyester fabric which can be feather dusted or vacuumed at a low setting. Spots or stains can be lightly rubbed clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. To avoid discoloration of the material, we recommend against the use of chemical cleaners. Precautions should be taken to reduce exposure to harsh environmental elements, such as salt air. Continuous exposure to salt air through open windows and doors will accelerate fabric deterioration over time. By aligning the sheer or the solid portion of the fabric, you can control the amount of light that enters the room. Figure G Figure H Figure I By using the cord loop, users can adjust the solid and sheer horizontal front fabrics and 5½ vanes to control the amount of incoming light and the view-through effect (Figure G). SoftTones vanes form a U shape when the shading is in the open position. Please Note: When the Shangri-La SoftTones Shadings is fully lowered and in the open position,the back of the fabric will hang lower than the bottom rail (Figure H). When in the closed position, Shangri-La SoftTones fabric diffuses incoming light, providing a warm glow. The vanes will be in the closed position when the shading is at its full ordered length (Figure I). Fabric Positions Shangri-La SoftTones Shadings cord loop control provides the ability to manipulate the shading into various viewing positions. There are variations in light control when the solid and sheer horizontal front fabrics and the 5½ vanes are moved into different positions. Fully private: When lowered completely, Shangri-La SoftTones provides complete privacy and softly diffused light. Partially open: Opening Shangri-La SoftTones slightly will gradually increase the level of light and allow varying levels of view through. View-through when lowered: By completely opening the vanes, Shangri-La SoftTones provides a softened, veiled view to the outside. Its compact design is perfect when the Ballet Sheers are layered beneath curtains or top treatments as part of a drapery ensemble. Ballet Valance Upgrade Each Ballet Performance Drapery Sheer is available with a valance. The valance has a coordinating fabric insert and conceals the track system. The Ballet valance is white aluminum and measures high with 7 standard returns (on outside mounts). See page 35 for pricing and page 37 for measuring instructions. Ballet Fabric Scarf Upgrade Soft Ballet fabric scarves are available for use with your own drapery hardware. The color coordinated, non-hinged fabric is available in all of the Ballet fabric design styles. Ballet scarves are 60 wide and come standard with a 4 hem on each end (no hem option also available). See page 35 for pricing on the fabric scarf upgrade. Ballet Fascia Upgrade A fascia rod covers the Ballet head rail and giving it the look of a traditional drapery rod. All fascia rods are 2½ in diameter and feature your choice end style (Outside Mount only), fascia rod style and color. See page 35 for pricing and page 38 for fascia measuring instructions. 36

39 Ballet Light Filtering and Room Darkening Vane Upgrade Light Filtering Vanes Upgrade When privacy is a concern, Ballet light filtering vanes are recommended. The light filtering vanes provide maximum closure and privacy while retaining the light diffusing properties of the sheer fabric. Light filtering vanes are recommended on shadings over 84 in length. Room Darkening Vane Upgrade Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers are light diffusing however your customer may need room darkening capabilities. Opaque room darkening vanes are an available option for enhancing light blockage. Room darkening vanes are recommended on shadings over 84 in length. Room Darkening Vertical Vane Colors Powder and white fabric orders receive opaque white vanes when ordered. All other fabric color orders receive opaque ivory vanes when ordered. Room Darkening and Light Filtering Vane Attachment Method Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers attach to the track system by clipping the fabric hangers into the plastic carriers on the track. The light filtering or room darkening vertical vanes are installed behind the sheers with a special carrier attachment clip which hangs off the plastic track carriers. See page 35 for pricing on the room darkening or light filtering vane upgrade. Measuring Instructions for Valances Valances and returns are cut at the outside measurement. The valance width is measured from points A to B (Figure J). The valance returns are measured from points C to D (Figure J). Comfortex recommends measuring for the exact size of the valance needed when ordering Ballet Drapery Sheers. Comfortex recommends ordering a valance with custom returns for an inside mount vertical with less than 3½ of mounting depth. Inside and Side Mounts Inside and side mount valances are made without returns. Minimum casement depth: 2¼ Minimum casement depth, fully recessed with valance: 7 IB-Standard Valance: The valance is made to the ordered blind width minus 1 8 (Figure K). Ballet Operating Options Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers are available with two options to operate the sheers: Cord and Chain Combination Tilt Wand Figure P Inside Mount Fascia Attachment Outside Mount: Fascias are assembled prior to shipping and attach to the head rail with a mounting clip (Figure Q). Figure Q Outside Mount Fascia Attachment Cord and Chain Information The Ballet track system uses a cord and chain combination for vane rotation and traversing. This easy-to-use combination opens and closes the sheers, along with providing smooth vane rotation. The cord, chain and cord tensioner are white. The chain rotates the vanes effortlessly and is supplied with chain tassels. The traverse cord allows the vanes to move to and from the stacked position. The traverse cord is fitted with a cord tensioner device. The standard traverse cord length with the tensioner will equal the height of the blind and is fully adjustable. The standard rotation chain length is 2 3 the height of the vertical sheer and is fully adjustable. Custom length drops are available on both the traverse cord and rotation chain. Please specify the length in inches when ordering. The minimum chain length is 12. Flame Resistance Ballet Fabric may be processed with a topical treatment to resist flames and adheres to strict flammability codes. The controls must be placed on the same side and cannot be split. The standard side stack cord and chain position is on the stack side. For split stack applications, the track system is symmetrical, allowing for easy installation and reverse-ability. Tilt Wand Control The Tilt Wand is a convenient alternative to the traditional cord and chain control. This single control system protects children and pets from injuries caused by pull cords. The wand is a single control that provides both traversing and rotation of the vanes. Twist the wand to rotate vanes open and closed. Pull the wand across the blind to draw the vanes back and forth. The wand control is white. Opposite side to stack control placement is not available with tilt wand control. Split stack verticals are not available with tilt wand control. 42 Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers Ballet Drapery Sheer Fabric Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers fabric may experience minor variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in light bowing, puckering and dimpling of the drapery sheer material. This is considered normal and does not constitute a failure in either workmanship or materials. The possible variations are minor and have been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of the product. Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers Rotation Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers rotate and traverse to the side, providing a full range of light control and privacy. Through the use of a cord and chain combination or wand control, Ballet Sheers can be rotated into the following positions: Vanes Stacked: The sheers are pulled to the side to provide a clear, unobstructed view. Sheers should be rotated to the open position before being pulled closed and stacked. Vanes Rotated: Enjoy variable degrees of privacy and light control when the sheers are rotated closed. Vanes Open: Light is softly diffused when the sheers are open and drawn. Ballet Drapery Sheers Light Control and Privacy Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers are a unique and highly innovative soft drapery alternative that provide UV protection, light control and privacy. The Drapery Sheers unique hinged fabric allows soft fabric billows to form without the necessity of vertical vanes. When in the view through position, the soft flowing drapery billows show only sheer fabric, keeping the solid portion hidden. When standing in front of and looking directly at the shading in the closed position, the sheers provide peak privacy. Ballet sheers can be rotated in either direction (left or right) to the desired angle of closure, allowing you to adjust the level of privacy for any point in the room. Vane closure varies from top to bottom providing optimum closure in the top ¾ of the product. Optional light filtering or room darkening PVC vanes can be added for increased privacy, closure and light control. Split Stack Closure Gap Split Stack Closure Gap is the distance between the two fabric sheers of a split stack design when the sheers are drawn together. The gap appears in the top* portion of the shading when the sheers are rotated to the view-through/ open position. When the sheers are rotated to the closed position, the Split Stack Closure Gap disappears. The split stack closure gap is 3 8. * Carriers are configured to butt together as close as possible to minimize the gap and keep it in the top portion of the sheer only. Sheers flow together and the gap virtually disappears as you view along the length of the drapery (Figure R). End Closure Gap An End Closure Gap is the distance from the end of the Performance Drapery Sheer to the end of the track. The End Closure Gap is up to 2 when the sheers are rotated to the view-through/open position. 43 Stacking Design Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers are available in opposite, side or split stack designs. Any design may be mounted inside or outside of the window opening. The rotation chain and traverse cord must be placed on the same side and cannot be split. Side stack shading may draw open to the left or right side. The controls may be placed on the same side of the stack or the opposite side. Controls cannot be split. Opposite side to stack control placement is not available with tilt wand control (Figure T). Split stack shadings draw open to both sides equally. Controls may be placed on either side (Figure U). An opposite stack shading is a side stack shading that has controls on the opposite side of the fabric stack. Opposite stack is not available with tilt wand control. Stack Back For a window or door opening to be fully uncovered when an outside mounted blind is drawn open, you must take into account the width of the vanes stack(s) called a stack back. These charts (found on pages 42-43) can also be used to align the shading with moldings or other design features. Due to the nature of the Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers, the stack back may vary slightly based on fabric selection. The stack back chart provides guidelines to assist you in determining the vane stack for your customer s application. You can determine the stack back using the stack back charts by following these four steps: 1. Measure the desired uncovered width, rounding the measurement down to the nearest 1 8. With side stack units, include in the measurement the desired amount of overlap on the side opposite the fabric stack. Comfortex recommends a 4 overlap. 2. Select the correct chart - there are charts for cord and chain operation or wand operation. Locate your measurement from Step 1 in the Uncovered Width column on the side stack or split stack charts. The Uncovered Width measurements include all measurements up to the measurement listed on the chart. For example, if your side stack width is 81 with cord, locate the measurement on the cord side stack chart. 3. Follow the line across to find the correct Ordered Width for that range. 4. After determining the correct width to order, confirm that there is enough room to outside mount the vertical at that width. Cord Control The maximum uncovered width on a side stack is 169¼. The maximum uncovered width on a split stack is 165¼. Wand Control The maximum uncovered width on a side stack is 126. 46 Measuring Instructions for Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers JAMB SILL INSIDE OUTSIDE SOFFIT INSIDE INSIDE OUTSIDE Outside Mount (Figures Y and Z) Use a steel tape to measure the exact height and width of the area to be covered. Comfortex recommends 4 overlap on each side to minimize potential light gaps. To measure the width for a shading that fully uncovers the opening when drawn When the fabric does not hang to the floor, a minimum 4 overlap is recommended below the bottom of the opening. When the fabric hangs to the floor, Comfortex recommends that you allow for a ½ bottom clearance. Please deduct before ordering. Ballet is mounted using a bracket that can be extended to project the shading beyond obstacles. By adjusting a screw and wing nut, the bracket can be easily adjusted. Fully extended, the bracket measures (see Figure X). Comfortex accepts measurements down to 1 16 increments. Ballet Performance Drapery Sheers Inside Mount (Figures V and W) Use a steel tape to measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. The factory will make the sheers ¼ narrower for operating clearance. Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places - use the smallest of these two measurements. The factory will make a ½ deduction for operating clearance. Side Mount (Figure X) Use a steel tape to measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. The factory will make the shading ¾ narrower to accommodate for the bracket. Cleaning and Care Regular feather dusting or light vacuuming will help keep your Performance Drapery Sheers looking new for years. Spills and stains can be lightly blotted with a cloth or damp sponge. Be careful not to pull or tug on the fabric. Due to the delicate nature of the fabrics, limited removal and handling is recommended. If necessary, Drapery Sheers may be washed by hand or machine washed on gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Please review the installation and care guide in the Ballet Installation Instructions for detailed information on proper removal and handling. Ballet Washing Instructions 1. Remove the room darkening vanes if applicable. Be sure to hold onto the PVC vane hangers for re-installation. 2. Gently remove fabric from track. Remember to support the full weight of the drapery sheer panels. See the installation and care guide in the Ballet Installation Instructions for details on proper removal. 3. Treat stains with a stain remover stick if applicable. 4. Neatly fold and place each drapery sheer panel into its own mesh bag. Do not unsnap fabric hangers within a panel. 5. Wash in cold water on the gentle cycle with a gentle detergent. 6. When the cycle is complete immediately and carefully remove drapery sheer panels from the bags. 7. Re-install the drapery sheer panels. 8. Gently reshape the billows and leave sheers in the open view through position to dry. 9. Minor wrinkles may be removed by lightly steaming or ironing the panels on a very low setting. Please Note: Excessive handling may lead to separation along hinge line and subtle fraying along top and bottom edges of fabric panels. Washing may affect the hand of the fabric which may cause the drapery sheers to perform slightly differently from before they were washed. Movable Stack The Decomatic track system used with Ballet allows homeowners to push the vanes out of the way in order to wash windows. Simply draw the vanes completely closed and gently push the small block on the end retainer up and slide the end carrier in the opposite direction that the vanes stack. The carrier clips will move freely within the track, allowing the vane stack to be moved to the opposite end. When finished, simply slide the end carrier back and snap it into the end retainer.
