9 Shangri-La Shadings Style Options All Shangri-La style options feature a continuous pull cord which allows for smooth, trouble free operation. Custom Metal Roller System Only available with Paradise Fabrics The metal roller is a traditional roller shade design. A bead chain raises and lowers the shade. Motorized Lift System is not available with standard roller. UltraSleek Head Rail (Optional surcharge with Paradise fabric) The UltraSleek Head Rail is white aluminum rail with a matching FABRIC insert. Comfortex will match the head rail insert to the selected fabric. This head rail is STANDARD on all 2" Shangri-La fabrics on shadings up to 84" wide by 84" length. For 3" vane fabrics, Comfortex recommends the Deluxe or Color Coordinated Head Rail Systems due to the considerable difference between size of the UltraSleek roller tube and the 3" fabric vane. This head rail is an optional upgrade for Paradise fabrics. See page 3 for more information. Braided polyester cord is standard. UltraSleek Head Rail cannot be motorized. Deluxe Head Rail (Optional surcharge with Paradise fabric) The Deluxe Head Rail is white aluminum with a choice of color coordinated aluminum or fabric inserts. The FABRIC insert is STANDARD for the Deluxe Head Rail. Deluxe Head Rail is REQUIRED on Eternity, Linen and Moonlight Shadings over 84" wide by 84" long. This head rail is an optional upgrade for Paradise fabrics. See page 3 for more information. Braided polyester cord is standard. Deluxe Head Rail can be motorized. 7 Color Coordinated Aluminum Head Rail (Optional surcharge with Paradise fabric) The Color Coordinated Aluminum Head Rail coordinates with Shangri-La fabric. Specify when ordering. This head rail is an optional upgrade for Paradise fabrics. See page 3 for surcharges. Braided polyester cord is standard. Color Coordinated Aluminum Head Rail can be motorized. DoorStyles Shangri-La DoorStyles Shadings cover French doors, transoms and sidelights without a bulky head rail. Hardware matches the fabric. DoorStyles attach to the window frame or door with hinges and tilt open and closed. An operating handle allows the fabric to tilted open and closed. An operating pole is available for hard to reach applications. Head Rail Consistency For a consistent look, if an order has multiple Shangri-La Shadings with varying width and lengths outside the UltraSleek maximum sizes, we recommend ordering all shadings with Deluxe Head Rail. Please specify when ordering. Fabric Collections and Vane Sizes Shangri-La Window Shadings are available with different fabric collections. Collection Vane Size Light Filtering and Room Darkening 2" and 3" Paradise Light Filtering 2" and 3" Linen Light Filtering 2" Please Note: Room Darkening fabrics are not blackout fabrics. Knitted fabric may experience minor weave variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in light bowing, puckering and dimpling of the Shangri-La material. This is considered normal and does not constitute a failure in either workmanship or materials. The possible variations are minor and have been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of the product. 10 Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Mounting Requirements for Shangri-La Hardware Systems Custom Metal Roller System (Figure A) A Figure A Standard Roller Bracket Dimensions Standard Roller bracket dimensions are as follows: A=1½" B=1½" or 2" The metal roller used only on Paradise fabrics. It is available with two brackets in 1½" and 2" widths. Minimum depth for flush inside mount including installation brackets: 2½" Deluxe Head Rail (Figure B) The Deluxe Head Rail is white aluminum with a choice of color coordinated aluminum or fabric inserts. The fabric insert is STANDARD for the Deluxe Head Rail. The five Room Darkening fabrics will be paired with the fabric or aluminum strips in the following Light Filtering colors: Room Darkening Fabric Color Insert Strip Color Starlight 2100 Powder 1000 Cloud White 2200 Vellum 1001 Aurora 2300 Hazelnut 1002 Horizon 2400 Sand 1016 Moondance 2500 Vellum " Figure D Outside Mount: Minimum surface area required for mounting: 1" Reverse Roll with Deluxe, Color Coordinated Aluminum and UltraSleek Head Rails The braided polyester cord does not have a reverse roll stop on shadings with the Shangri-La Hardware Systems. If a shading with the Deluxe, Color Coordinated Aluminum or the UltraSleek Head Rail is raised above 24" in the reverse roll mode, there is a possibility of the fabric rubbing on the head rail. Comfortex reserves the right NOT to warrant wear and tear of fabric if damaged by roll-up in excess of 24". 8

11 Length Considerations with Shangri-La Shadings Comfortex will fabricate your Shangri-La Window Shading to the exact length ordered, when the vanes are in the open (or viewthrough) position. When the vanes are rotated to the closed position, the shading will become 3 /8" longer. When closed on an inside mount, a slight puckering may occur on the lower most sheer section because of contact with the sill. To compensate, slightly raise the shading until the rail begins to lift off the window sill. If preferred, Shangri-La can be ordered 3 /8" less than the measured length of the window opening. In this case, the bottom rail will be positioned 3 /8" above the sill when the vanes are in the open position. (Figure E) Rotating the vanes closed will cause the bottom rail to touch the window sill, closing any space. See page 12 for information on the length considerations on Shangri-La DoorStyles Shadings. Side by Side Alignment When Shangri-La Window Shadings are installed side-by-side, vane alignment can be guaranteed within ¼" only if: The shadings are the same color and ordered at the same time. The sum total of the widths of all shades needing alignment is less than 102". Side-by-side lineup is specified when the order is placed. Omni-View System for Shangri-La Hardware Shangri-La with Deluxe, UltraSleek and Color Coordinated Aluminum Hardware Systems feature the Omni-View Cord System. The Omni-View System provides the ability to manipulate the shading into various viewing positions. Consequently, there are variations in visibility through the shadings when the vanes are tilted to their maximum open positions. The following five modes can be obtained with standard shading operation when viewing the shading at eye level. Closed top, open bottom: By partially lowering the shading from the fully raised position, the upper portion of your window will become semi-opaque while allowing a clear view below. 3/8" Figure E Cord Information for Paradise Roller Shadings A beaded cord loop is the only cord option available with the custom roller system used with the Paradise Fabric Collection. The cord loop will measure the length indicated below unless otherwise specified. The cord loop will measure the length indicated below unless otherwise specified. Shading Length* Standard Loop 16" to 26 7 /8" 1' (12") 27" to 39 7 /8" 2' (24") 40" to 59 7 /8" 3' (36") 60" to 83 7 /8" 4' (48") 84" to /8" 5' (60") 108" and greater 6' (72") Maximum cord length is 15 feet. Polyester cord can be ordered in custom lengths in 1 foot increments only. * UltraSleek Head Rail maximum shading length is 84". Warranty on Polyester Cord with Deluxe and Color Coordinated Aluminum Hardware The braided polyester cord does not have a reverse roll stop on shadings with the Shangri-La Hardware Systems. If a shading with the Deluxe or Color Coordinated Aluminum Head Rail is raised above 24" in the reverse roll mode, there is a possibility of the fabric rubbing on the head rail. Comfortex reserves the right NOT to warrant wear and tear of fabric if damaged by roll-up in excess of 24". Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Fully private: When lowered completely, Shangri-La provides complete privacy and softly diffused light. Partially open: Opening Shangri-La slightly will gradually increase the level of light and allow varying levels of view through. View-through when lowered: By completely opening the vanes, Shangri-La provides a softened, veiled view to the outside. View-through when raised: From the open or viewthrough position, continuing to pull down on the back of the cord will raise the fabric allowing a clear view outside from below, and a veiled view above. This exclusive feature allows Shangri-La to be raised up to 24" in this mode. 9

12 Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Motorized Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals Shangri-La Sheer Horizontal Window Shadings are motorized with the Somfy Radio Technology (RTS) System. The motors will fully operate the shadings with radio frequency technology. Shangri-La Hardware Available with Somfy Motors The motors fully operate the shadings using Deluxe and Color Coordinated Aluminum head rail. Motors are not available with UltraSleek head rail or roller system. Surcharges The motor surcharge for Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals is $674 per shading. The Shangri-La Sheer Horizontal Motorized Lift System includes a standard 12 volt battery wand with eight AA lithium batteries. The remotes, wall switches and timers are sold separately and can be used in conjunction with one another. Battery Wand Mounting Options The battery wand comes with two mounting options: Head rail mount: Battery wand clips are mounted on the back of the Shangri-La head rail using a high temperature pressure sensitive adhesive. Wall mount: Battery wand clips are mounted to the wall. The battery wand measures 17" and comes with eight lithium batteries and is white in color. Extension wires are available at 48" and 96" for use with the battery wand. Battery Life The battery life will vary based on the type of window covering selected, the size and weight of the window covering and the number of times you operate the shade on a daily basis. Battery Wand For example, a 36" x 60" single honeycomb shade operated twice daily will have a battery life which lasts up to 18 months. Comfortex will warranty batteries for up to 3 months from date of purchase. Battery Replacement Eight lithium batteries are included with the wand. Recommended replacement batteries are Energizer AA lithium. These batteries are commonly found in department stores, home improvement centers, grocery and hardware stores. 13 Remote Options There are two remote options Both are available with 1 or 5 channel options. Please specify when ordering: Hand Held Wall Switch Hand-Held Remote Option The 1 Channel RTS Remote will operate all of the shades simultaneously. The 5 Channel RTS Remote can operate up to five shadings or groups of shadings individually. When ordering, please specify which channels are assigned to each shade. RTS 1 Channel Remote The remote control utilizes one 3V lithium battery (CR2430). Batteries are included. Comfortex will warranty batteries for up to 3 months from date of purchase. Wall Switch Option The RTS System has a wall switch option upgrade. The wall switch works just like a light switch to operate your shades. The switch is easy to install with an standard single gang electrical box and does not require any wiring. There are two wall switch options: 1 Channel 5 Channel Please specify when ordering. RTS 5 Channel Remote The 1 Channel RTS Wall Switch will operate all of the shades simultaneously. The 5 Channel RTS Wall Switch can operate up to five shades or groups of shades individually. The wall switch is available in two colors: white and ivory. Please specify when ordering. RTS System Wireless Timer The RTS System Wireless Timer allows you set specific times for your shades to be raised or lowered. The Wireless Timer can be programmed to operate at the same time each day or different times every day. It has a security function that will raise or lower shades randomly to give the impression of an occupied home. Commands are transmitted via radio, so external wiring is not necessary. Overall Dimensions: Length and Width: 3 1 /8" Depth: 1" Wireless Timers use two 1.5V DC (AAA) batteries. Batteries are included. 15 Vane Opening and Visibility Vanes on the three styles of Shangri-La fabrics open to slightly different degrees. Consequently, there are variations in visibility through the shadings when the vanes are tilted to their maximum open positions. Measurements with 16th (ex. 1 /16") increments will not be accepted. Precise width and length measurements are critical. Fabric width cannot be altered after the shading is fabricated. Please use a metal tape measure for accuracy from home to factory. The head rail must be installed perfectly level and installed evenly to ensure smooth operation. On an inside mount, it is recommended that you check to see that the mounting surface is level and consistent. If your soffit needs to be leveled, this should be done before measuring. Shangri-La Sheer Horizontals 1½" 3" Fabrics Inside Mount Measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Measurements should be taken within the window jamb. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. Comfortex will make the necessary deductions to fit the window opening. Vane Closure (Figure G) Shangri-La vanes are not designed to close tightly. The inherent nature of the fabric will cause a slight increase in the distance from the front sheer to back sheer as you move further down the shading. These vanes do not form a perfect seal against light leakage which is most visible toward the bottom of the shading. Vane overlap ensures that privacy is not compromised. Vane closure is measured as the distance between the front and rear fabric sheers 6" up from the 7/8" lowest point of the bottom rail, with the shading fully lowered and the vanes closed. On light Figure G filtering 2" fabrics, the maximum distance from the front sheer to the back sheer when closed is equal to or less than 5 /8" for shadings under 60" and 7 /8" for shadings longer than 60". On room darkening 2" fabrics, the distance is 5 /8" regardless of shade length. On all 3" fabrics, the distance is equal to or less than 1". 6" 13 Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places - use the smallest of these two measurements. Outside Mount Measure the exact width and length of the area to be covered. On the width, allow at least 1½" of an overlap on each side. An overlap of 3" on each side is recommended. Be sure to take into consideration any obstructions such as window trim, molding, locks and window cranks. Side Mount Side mount is not available for the roller system used with Paradise Shadings or with DoorStyles Shadings. Shangri-La may be side mounted using L brackets. For side mounts, follow the instructions for inside mounts. An additional ½" will be taken off the standard inside mount deduction to allow room for the L brackets. The maximum shade width utilizing the side mount option is 48".

When installed level, the fabric will not skew when raised. If the head rail is not installed level, skewing can occur that can damage the edge of the fabric. Skew Adjusting Bottom Rail After installation, windows that are not square and level may cause the shadings to shift to one side as it rolls up, requiring adjustment of the bottom rail. Bottom rail endcaps are weighted with two weights on each side. Remove endcap from rail on the finished shading. Weights are added or removed to adjust skewing. Use spacer blocks to obtain clearance when obstructions, such as window cranks or door handles, obstruct the movement of the shading. Certified Fabrics GreenGuard Fabrics GREENGUARD Environmental Institute has established performance based standards to define goods with low chemical and particle emissions for use indoors. The Shangri-La fabrics have the passed GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified certification program for low emitting interior building materials, furnishings, and finish systems: Flame Resistance Shangri-La fabric may be processed with a topical treatment to resist flames and adhere to strict flammability codes. For more information, contact Customer Service at (800) UV Protection Ultraviolet light, entering the home as sunlight, damages furnishings. In time it fades wood floors, furniture, upholstery, draperies, carpeting and artwork. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes natural, undyed fabrics to turn yellow, weakening their fibers and making them look old and worn prematurely. The right window covering can be very effective in blocking ultraviolet rays. Such effectiveness is measured in terms of a % UV blockage rating. The higher the rating, the greater the UV protection. 21 Vane Carrier Clip Attachment The carrier clip comes attached to the vane insert on Stardust vanes. The vane installation and removal from the carrier stem becomes effortless. The clip prevents the vane from unintentional detachment from the carriers for improved durability. Carrier Clip with Velcro Vane Insert Fabric Sleeve Easy to Install Color Direction Stardust Soft Sheer Verticals feature vanes that are colored on one side and white on the other. The color may face to the right or left when the vanes are open or partially rotated. When ordering, please specify the color direction. Color left vanes are standard with Stardust. Cord and Chain Information The Stardust track system uses a cord and chain combination for vane rotation and traversing. This easy-to-use combination opens and closes the vertical, along with providing smooth vane rotation. The cord, chain and cord tensioner are white. The chain rotates the vanes effortlessly and is supplied with chain tassels. The traverse cord allows the vanes to move to and from the stacked position. The traverse cord is fitted with a cord tensioner device. The standard traverse cord length with the tensioner will equal the height of the blind and is fully adjustable. The standard rotation chain length is 2 /3 the height of the blind and is fully adjustable. Custom length drops are available on both the traverse cord and rotation chain. Please specify the length in inches when ordering. The minimum chain length is 12". Standard Cord and Chain Positions The rotation chain and traverse cord may be placed on either side for a split or side stack shadings. The controls must be placed on the same side and cannot be split. The standard side stack cord and chain position is on the stack side. For split stack applications, the track system is symmetrical, allowing for easy installation and reversibility. Vane Closure Gap When Stardust vanes are in the closed position, they always overlap but they may not always touch. The vane closure gap is the maximum distance between closed overlapping vanes. The vane closure gap is up to ½". Stardust Vane Rotation Stardust vanes rotate and traverse to the side, providing a full range of light control and privacy. Through the use of a cord and chain combination, Stardust vanes can be rotated into the following positions: Vanes Stacked: The vanes and sheers are pulled to the side to provide a clear, unobstructed view. Vanes should be rotated to the open position before being pulled closed and stacked. (Figure H) For information on Stack Back, see pages Vanes Open: Light is softly diffused when the vanes are open and sheer fabric is drawn. Vanes Slightly Rotated: Enjoy a partially private view and variable degrees of light control when the vanes are slightly rotated. (Figure I) Vanes Closed: Enjoy privacy and light control when the vanes are rotated fully closed. When closed, a neutral color is presented to the exterior, with the colored portion of the vane to the interior. (Figure J) When outside mounted, Stardust vanes rotate in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions. When installed with an inside mount, Stardust vanes will rotate fully in one direction (colored side into the room) but cannot fully rotate in the opposite direction. 22 Stardust Valance Specifications Each Stardust Soft Sheer Vertical comes with a valance. The Stardust valance is white and measures 2 7 /8" high with 7" standard returns (on outside mounts). 23 Stardust Fascia Specifications Fascia rods add visual impact to the top of your Stardust Soft Sheer Vertical. A fascia rod is an alternative wood valance style, covering the Stardust head rail and giving it the look of a traditional drapery rod. A fascia rod replaces the standard valance when ordered. All fascia rods are 2½" around and feature your choice of end styles: decorative finials or returns. Choose the end style (Outside Mount only), fascia rod style and color. Fascia Options (1) End Styles (Outside Mount only): Ball Finial (4" long) Regal Finial (5" long) Returns (2) Rod Styles: Measurements Fascia Rod: All fascia rods are custom made to your exact ordered dimensions. Make sure to adjust the fascia size to accommodate your specific application. Use guidelines below to determine proper ordering size. Inside Mount: Order the fascia rod 1 /8" less than the ordered width of the vertical sheer. Please Note: Fascias for inside mounts cannot accommodate finials or returns. Celestial, Galaxy and Flora fabrics are 60" wide and Nova fabric is 54" wide. All fabrics are available up to 50 yards per cut. The minimum order is 3 yards, with half-yard increments thereafter. 25 Stacking Design Stardust Soft Sheer Verticals are available in side or split stack designs. Either design may be mounted inside or outside of the window opening. The rotation chain and traverse cord must be placed on the same side and cannot be split. Side stacks may draw open to the left or right side. The controls may be placed on the same side of the stack or the opposite side. Controls cannot be split. (Figure S) Split stack shadings draw open to both sides equally. Controls may be placed on either side. (Figure T) Note on Stacking When Stardust Verticals are in the stacked position the vanes may flare slightly. This is considered normal and does not constitute a failure in workmanship or materials. The possible flare has been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of the product. You can determine the Stack Back using the Stack Back charts by following these four steps: 1. Measure the desired uncovered width, rounding the measurement down to the nearest 1 /8". Determine which chart to use - side or spilt stack. With side stack units, include in the measurement the desired amount of overlap on the side opposite the fabric stack. We recommend a 4" overlap. (Figure S and Figure T) 2. Locate your measurement from Step 1 in the Uncovered Width column on the side stack or split stack charts. The Uncovered Width measurements include all measurements up to the measurement listed on the chart. For example, if your side stack width is 81", locate the 82½" measurement on the side stack chart. 3. Follow the line across to find the correct Ordered Width for that range. 4. After determining the correct width to order, confirm that there is enough room to outside mount the vertical at that width. The maximum uncovered width on a side stack is 142¼". The maximum uncovered width on a split stack is 139". Examples: Side Stack: If the Uncovered Width of a Light Filtering Stardust is 47", the Ordered Width size is 66". Split Stack: If the Uncovered Width of a Light Filtering Stardust is 93", the stack back amount is 19" for each panel, 38" total. The Ordered Width size is 131". A customer wants her 84" wide patio doors to be uncovered when her side stack Light Filtering Stardust Vertical is drawn open. To minimize any light gap on the side opposite the fabric stack when the sheer is drawn closed, she wants a 4" overlap on the right side. 27 Stardust Measuring Instructions SOFFIT INSIDE INSIDE OUTSIDE Figure U Inside Mount JAMB INSIDE OUTSIDE SILL Comfortex accepts measurements down to 1 /8" increments. Measurements with 16th (ex. 1 /16") increments will not be accepted. Inside Mount (Figure U) Use a steel tape to measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. The factory will make the vertical ½" narrower so it will not rub against the window casing. Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places - use the smallest of these two measurements. The factory will make a ½" deduction for operating clearance. Side Mount (Figure V) Use a steel tape to measure across the width of your window opening in three different places - top, middle and bottom. Provide the smallest of the three measurements to Comfortex. Be exact. The factory will make the blind ¾" narrower to accommodate for the bracket. Measure the length of the window opening from the underside of the soffit to the surface of the window sill in two places. Use the smallest of these two measurements. The factory will make a ½" deduction for operating clearance. Outside Mount (Figures W and X) Use a steel tape to measure the exact height and width of the area to be covered. Comfortex recommends 4" overlap on each side to minimize potential light gaps. To measure the width for a vertical that fully uncovers the opening when drawn back, see page 24. Also see page 23 for information on the stack back chart found on page 24. When the fabric does not hang to the floor, a minimum 4" overlap is recommended below the bottom of the opening. When the fabric hangs to the floor, Comfortex recommends that you allow for a ½" bottom clearance. Please deduct before ordering. Stardust is mounted using a bracket that can be extended to project the shading beyond obstacles. By adjusting a screw and wing nut, the bracket can be easily adjusted. Cleaning and Care While beautiful and pleasing to the eye, all Comfortex products are designed to be durable, easily cared for and easily cleaned. Our Stardust Soft Sheer Verticals, with regular feather dusting or vacuuming, will look new for years. Spills and stains can be lightly blotted with a cloth or damp sponge. More difficult stains may require gentle washing in water with mild soap. For this, remove the vane from the window. Remove the vane insert and submerge, soak and rub lightly. Lay flat or place back in the window to dry. Stardust s sheers and vanes can be ironed if they become wrinkled. Remove the vane from the window and then remove the insert from the vane. Iron the sheer fabric at a level 3 or polyester setting on a household iron. Iron the vane at a level 2 or silk setting. Replace the vane insert and replace the vane in the window. Stardust sheers may be steamed. The head of the steam machine may be in contact with the sheer for up to three minutes. Stardust Soft Sheer Verticals can be ultrasonically cleaned. Movable Stack The Decomatic track system used with Stardust allows homeowners to push the vanes out of the way in order to wash windows. Simply draw the vanes completely closed and gently push the small block on the end retainer up and slide the end carrier in the opposite direction that the vanes stack. The carrier clips will move freely within the track, allowing the vane stack to be moved to the opposite end. When finished, simply slide the end carrier back and snap it into the end retainer. For additional advice on care or cleaning, please contact the Comfortex Technical Service Department at Child Safety Be aware that it is possible for children to become entangled in window coverings cords. To reduce the risk of accidents, all cords must be kept out of the reach of children. The cord and chain combination used on Stardust Soft Sheer Verticals utilizes a cord tensioning device to keep children and pets safe. 29 Policies Our policies are designed to provide a guide for doing business with Comfortex. Our first priority and number one policy is to provide the highest level of service and total satisfaction. Freight Comfortex will ship all orders for fabricated shades or blinds freight free via UPS, FedEx Ground or other similar method within the continental United States*. A $3.75 per unit transportation surcharge will be added to all fabricated product orders, within the continental United States, including shades/blinds, vane packs, individual vanes, tracks, valance and cut yardage orders. In addition, a $40.00 Common Carrier surcharge** will be added for all orders shipped within the continental United States, that include shades or blinds with widths of 98" or more and are required to ship by motor freight. Exception: verticals with lengths of 84" or more, and roman shades with widths of 94" or more are required to ship by motor freight. *Hawaii and Alaska Shipments Hawaii: Shipments to the Hawaiian island of Oahu will incur a freight charge of $57.00 per order, plus $3.75 per unit. All other Hawaiian islands will incur an $88.00 per order freight charge, plus $3.75 per unit. Shangri-La Warranty Information Shangri-La Fabric: Knitted fabric may experience minor weave variations due to heat, humidity and other room conditions. These variations can result in light bowing, puckering and dimpling of the Shangri-La material. This is considered normal and does not constitute a failure in either workmanship or materials. The possible variations are minor and have been shown through case study not to detract from the beauty of the product. Warranty Information Regarding the Polyester Cord on Shangri-La Window Shadings with Deluxe and Color Coordinated Aluminum Hardware The braided polyester cord does not have a reverse roll stop on shadings with the Shangri-La Hardware Systems. If a shading with the Deluxe or Color Coordinated Aluminum Head Rail is raised above 24" in the reverse roll mode, there is a possibility of the fabric rubbing on the head rail. 30 Shangri-La and Stardust Shadings Warranty Information Comfortex warrants that its window treatments will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original residential purchaser owns the product, provided that the product was installed properly and in accordance with the installation instructions. The limited lifetime warranty is extended to the original residential purchaser only, in the original window for which it was installed. The warranty does not include any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, misapplication, improper handling, installation, repairs, operation, cleaning, exposure to any and all natural and manufactured excessive heat sources. (Excessive heat sources include, but not limited to; magnification of sun light through cubes of glass, heaters of any kind, ovens, candles, lighting fixtures, etc.) This warranty does not cover variation in color, grain, or texture in natural wood products nor excessive warping of wood slats in high humidity areas. Loss of pleating is not covered if the product is not being cycled (held in the raised position a portion of the time). Normal wear and tear is not covered. All moving parts, such as cords, will eventually wear out and fabric may fray. Comfortex considers these things as normal wear and tear and will carry a three year limited warranty. This limited warranty does not cover transportation costs to and from the retailer, costs of removal, re-measure, or reinstallation of product, or any incidental or consequential damages. If a Comfortex product is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the cost of a product which fails to conform to this limited warranty. Colors vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatch, sample book, or previous purchases. Discontinued components or color selections will be replaced with the closest equivalent current product. This shall be your sole remedy under this limited warranty.
