13 Providencia Park A series of three (3) planters and two (2) islands. ~60,000 cy of sand Capping muck sediments to create 6 acres of habitat. ~350 Offshore / ~200 from ICW Kayak Blueway Trail
14 Enhancements to Bird Islands at Snook, Bryant Park, & Grassy Flats 1) Bryant AMOY successfully fledged 1 chick. New pair fledged 2 at Snook II. Grassy pair did not successfully fledge a chick this year 2) Least terns abandoned nests at Snook II, did not nest at Grassy. 3) Upgrades to bird nesting islands at Bryant Park, Snook Islands II, and Grassy Flats are anticipated after the close of 2017 nesting season.

17 LWL Fisheries Monitoring Northern LWL In August; 66 Taxa of fish and invertebrates 1,690 animals were collected including 11 economically important species such as Red Drum, Snook, Southern Kingfish, Sheepshead, Blue Crab, Pink Shrimp, Juvenile Shrimp, Mutton Snapper, Schoolmaster, Grey Snapper, and Permit. 34 tax 761 Central Lagoon / 57 tax 929 Northern Lagoon.
