CONFERENCE COMPETITIONS To gain consistency across the game in, Junior Rugby League districts and / or clubs are to be allocated a conference with the aim to provide equivalent and sustainable competition. Phased in over three years, the below plan outlines the formation of conferences encompassing all Junior League Districts. FORMAT AND AGE GROUPS Criteria for the 017 Conference Competitions: - team competitions Multiply divisions (Div 1, Div, Div etc) will have the opportunity to nominate into an age group Divisions will be determined by considering previous season results and divisions (conditions may apply) No official re-grade Competitions will be monitored up until round with the possibility of teams being re-graded up or down pending results. 6 Condition to enter all age groups from one district (e.g. districts cannot enter U1, U1 and U1 must be all age groups listed above) Once divisions are established, consideration will be made into localising divisions where feasible to a district (dependent on team nominations) Competitions will be structured into conferences. CALENDAR (PRE AND REGULAR SEASONS) Pre-season Preseason competitions and tournaments will be offered over four weeks Optional for teams to enter across all districts Ws - Ms - FN9s - Gala Days Tournaments League Tag Districts will have the opportunity to host these pre-season competitions with assistance from.
