3 V-MV 3 System description Test camber system Te instrument set consists of te macine body, a personal computer wit screen, keyboard and mouse. Te instrument is directly controlled by te PC. Te measuring system and instrument controlling is performed by te 32 Bits MonControl software, a universal testing software system. For calibration te instrument as two calibration weigts included in te macine. Te complete calibration can be performed directly by MonControl software. Te torque is created by a direct driven, replaceable rotor wic is completely embedded in te test material in a closed test camber. Te rotational movement is created by a servomotor wit an adjustable speed from,1 to 5 turns per minute. Tis movement is directly controlled via MonControl software. Te torque measurement is performed by a ig resolution torque transducer. In te MonControl Software are more tan 15 different data points available for calculation. Te closing of te test camber is done by an pneumatically closing system wit a closing force of 11,6 KN at 4,2 bars air pressure. For safety reasons a safety sield is closed before te test cambers were closed. An opening of te test cambers is possible at every time of a test. Also tere is a Stand by function for closing te test cambers witout running a test. Te temperature regulation is divided in 2 separate eating circuits - te eating operates wit electrical eating films - one for eac test camber. Te temperature regulation is directly controlled by software wit direct displaying of all temperatures. Te temperature measurement itself is done by PT resistance termocouples. 4 5

6 M-VS 3 Mooney volume cutter Te Mooney volume cutter serves fast and exact production of test samples for te Mooney measurement. A center ole for te rotor saft is also punced out.
