3 Instructions Required items: Silicone cap, 1 cable tie 1 Open the silicone cap and pass a cable tie through the hole in the holder until the cable tie head is inside the holder. Then invert the silicone cap back into its original shape. 3 Festo AG & Co. KG Festo Didactic SE Bionics4Education

4 2 Required items: connecting element for Silicone cap Pass the other end of the cable tie through the small hole in the middle of the connecting element and put the silicone cap over the provided attachment. 4 Festo AG & Co. KG Festo Didactic SE Bionics4Education

5 3 Required items: 2 sealing rings, connecting element Put the two sealing rings on each end of the connecting element. Required items: servo motor (waterproof), 1 cable tie 4 Attach the waterproof servo motor on the holder inside the connecting element and fasten it with a cable tie. 6 Required items: connecting element, connecting element for Silicone cap 5 Attach the connecting element for the silicone cap to the other connecting element. Required items: 2 cable ties 6 Pass the cable tie of the silicone cap through one side of the rudder horn and fasten it with another cable tie. 7 Required items: battery compartment, 4 batteries 7 Insert four batteries in the battery compartment. Required items: Pin shield for microcontroller, Electronic board 8 If the pin shield for microcontroller has not yet been plugged onto the Electronic board, carefully plug the two components in. 8 Required items: connecting cable for battery 9 Plug the white plug of the battery connection cable onto the Electronic board. Required items: cable of servo motor 10 Plug the black plug of the servo motor onto the Electronic board. black cable --> minus red cable --> plus 8 Festo AG & Co. 9 Required items: Electronic board, transparent corpus 11 Insert the assembled Electronic board with pin shield into the body and slide it into the rail provided for this purpose. Required items: connecting cable for battery, battery compartment 12 Put the black plug of the battery connection cable on the battery compartment. 9 Festo AG & Co. 10 Required items: transparent corpus, battery compartment 13 Insert the battery compartment underneath the electronic board into the transparent body. Make sure that the batteries are facing downwards and the plastic of the battery compartment bottom points upwards in the direction of the Electronic board. Then switch on the Electronic board using the small black switch. Required items: transparent corpus, connecting element 14 Attach the connecting element to the transparent corpus. 10 Festo AG & Co. 11 Required items: ballon, tube (white) 15 Put the opening of the balloon over one opening of the white tube. Then inflate the balloon with the help of the tube. Required items: connecting element for Silicone cap, tube (white) 16 Squeeze the other end of the white tube with your fingers so that the air cannot escape from the balloon and put it over the small attachment on the connecting element. 11 Festo AG & Co. 12 Optional: make a silhouette 17 You want to add an individually designed element to your robotic chameleon? Then print the silhouette template (available in the Downloads section) and draw any shape for your chameleon around the body. Cut out the silhouette and attach it to the body by using a cable tie.
