5 FOAM MARKER INSTALL Attach Foam Marker to Hose Reel Mount Attach Foam Marker underneath Hose Reel Bracket using (2) ¼ X ½" Flange Bolts and Socket Wrench with Extension 1a. Underneath Hose reel bracket INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/2017 4

6 SWITCH INSTALL Remove Knee Pad. Prepare Auxiliary 1 Slot Rub Hole Edges to reveal Cut location Cut into Hole using Utility Knife 2. 2a. 2b. Insert Switch Orient metal prongs closest to operator Press Switch into Slot 3a. 3b. 3b. INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/2017 5

7 ELECTRICAL HARNESS INSTALL Examine Electrical Harness Routing Labels To Relay Post 2a. To Auxiliary Switch To Solenoid Post To Foam Marker Install Power Connector to Foam Marker Route Power Connector in between control panel and gas tank to Foam Marker Connect with Foam Marker Under these hoses. 2b. INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/2017 6

8 Install Ground Wire to Ground Post Identify Ground Post on Frame Upright. Remove Nut from Post (3/8 Wrench for Nut, 5/16 for Bolt Head) Install Ground Wire, routing from front of machine (engine side) Re-install Nut to secure the Ground Wire to the Upright 3a. 3a. 3b. 3c. 3d. 9 Install Auxiliary Switch Connector to Auxiliary 1 Switch Route Auxiliary Switch Connector in Front (Engine side) of Uprights Connect with Auxiliary 1 Switch 4a. 4b. Install Power Wire to Solenoid Post (7/16 Wrench for Nut) Route Power Wire to lower section of right Frame Upright. Remove protective cover and nut from left side of Solenoid. Install Power Wire and nut to Solenoid Post Place protective cover over Solenoid Post. 5a. 5b,5c. 5d. Refer to Appendix A if your machine has a terminal block installed. 10 Secure Electrical Harness using Cable Ties in the following areas: Auxiliary Switch Connector to Existing Cables 6a. 6a. 6a. Start Power Connector to itself Finish 6b. 6b. 6b. Start Finish 6c. Power Connector to Hose (PREVENT interference with Mechanism) 6c. Start Finish INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/2017 9

12 SPRAY NOZZLE BRACKET INSTALL Install Spray Nozzle Bracket to Boom (Operator Right) Insert Spray Nozzle Bracket so that the top two tabs are inside boom Squeeze the top and bottom tabs together so the bottom tabs are inside boom. Attach Spray Nozzle Bracket to Boom using (2) 1/4 x 1/2 Flange Bolts and (2) 1/4 Flange Nuts 1a. 1a. 1a. 1a. Align Holes Start Finish 1b. 1c. Inside Boom Inside Boom x2 Install Spray Nozzle Bracket to Boom (Operator Left) Repeat steps 1a -1c INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/

13 HOSE INSTALL Install Hose from Foam Marker to Boom T-Fitting Spray Silicone on Hose for Seal Attach Hose to right angle fitting on Foam Marker 1a. 1b. Route the Hose along Tank with existing hose to the Boom Edge. 1c. 1c. 1c. Start Finish Cut Hose to Size Mark Hose where it meets the Boom Edge Cut Hose at that mark (use caution) 1d-1. 1d-2. 14 Spray end of hose with Silicone Insert T-Fitting into End 1e. 1f. Install Hose from Boom T-Fitting to Side Nozzle (Operator Left) Spray Silicone on New Hose End for Seal Attach Hose to T-Fitting Side (Operator Left) 2a. 2b. T-Fitting Hose Clip Cable Tie that holds the existing Hose on the Boom. 2c. INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/

15 Measure and Cut Hose Align T-Fitting Center to Holes in Boom Tuck Hose and Follow Existing Hose Mark Hose where Hose meets the Boom Edge Cut Hose at mark 2d-1. 2d-3. 2d-4. 2d-2. Attach Spray Nozzle Spray end of hose with Silicone Attach Spray Nozzle Position Nozzle at End of Boom 2e-1. 2e-2. 2e-3. INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/

16 Secure with Cable Ties Secure Nozzle through holes in Spray Nozzle Bracket with (2) cable ties Secure Hose to spring Tab with (1) cable tie 4f-1. 4f-2. Install Hose from Boom T-Fitting to Side Nozzle (Operator Right) Repeat Step 2 (a-f) securing at Nozzle and Spring Tab Secure at additional Position on Boom using (1) of the 2 Holes 3a. 3b. INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/

17 Secure T-Fitting to Boom and Hose to Foam Marker Crimp Cable tie to create L Insert into Holes in Boom Tie around both sides for T-Fitting Tie around existing hose in (2) places 4a. 4b. 4c. 4d. Clip all Cable Tie Ends INSTALLATION FOR FOAM MARKER 5/2/

18 TEST Test Auxiliary 1 Switch Switch Auxiliary 1 Switch to ON Listen for Foam Marker Pump Noise Switch Auxiliary 1 Switch to OFF Note: The switch is connected directly to the battery and will operate even when the ignition switch is turned off. 19 Appendix A Terminal Block Use these instructions if your machine has a terminal block installed. Install Power Wire to Terminal Block Route Power Wire (with Fuse) to lower section of uprights Remove Nut from Terminal Block (7/16 Wrench for Nut) Install Power Wire to Terminal Block Re-install Nut to secure the Power Wire to the Terminal Block 5a. 5b. 5c. 5d.
