6 5.2 PNEUMATIC TEST PLUGS SINGLE & MULTI TEST BALL - CHERNE The Test Ball Plug is very easy to use in a wide variety of applications because of their flexible sealing design, they easily overcome some common problems like out of round pipe and pipe with slightly differing interior dimensions. CHERNE Test Ball Plugs are recommended for use in piping constructed of ABS, cast iron, clay, concrete, copper or PVC. The 1 ¼ through 6 Test Ball sizes are made of natural rubber and feature a removable zinc-plated steel chain, clamp and ring. The inflator is moulded-in and has a standard tyre valve thread with cap. The 8 through to 12 Test Ball sizes are made of natural rubber and feature a moulded-in metal insert which serves as a base plate for the removable 3/8-16 threaded zinc-plated eyebolt and ¼ -18NPT (F) threaded inflation nipple. The inflation fitting has a standard tyre valve thread with cap. 7 5.2 PNEUMATIC TEST PLUGS cont SINGLE AND MULTI MUNI-BALL - CHERNE Single size Muni-Ball Plugs feature a flow thru and can be used for wide variety of applications such as Line Acceptance Test and by- passing Sewer Flow. Unlike mechanical plugs, the single-size Muni-Ball can seal out of round pipe, plug virtually all pipe types and keep the user safe and dry. Single size Muni-Ball Plugs are made out of natural rubber and feature an aluminium by-pass tube. The tyre valve inflation fitting is moulded into the 2, 3 and 4 plugs. Larger sizes have a removable tyre valve inflation fitting. By-pass allows for pressure and vacuum testing of drains.
