Functionality Battery-operated, intelligent door terminal, touchless activation with Dialock key (passive transponder) Red/white LEDs/Piezo sound generator for indication of locking and unlocking Door backplate internal module with thumbturn with which "Do not disturb" can be indicated on the exterior module by a flashing signal (thumbturn = DND = Do not disturb function). Mechanical locking takes place by turning the thumbturn, pushing forward the deadbolt of the mortice lock. The door can be opened without a key at any time from the inside by operating the lever handle. Mechanical emergency opening The DT 700 door terminal set must always be equipped with a single profile cylinder or short profile cylinder for mechanical emergency opening. When using the mechanical emergency opening, please note the information sheet for determining the single profile cylinder length or short profile cylinder length. The batteries in the door backplate internal module are secured with a special screw in the cover. This is meant to avoid unauthorised removal of the batteries.
