3 TECHNICAL DATA STANDARD COMPRESSOR FEATURES All HELIUM compressors are PLC controlled and can run in either manual or automatic start modes, and include oil, interstage and discharge pressure gauges as well as an hour meter and "Power On" light. High air temperature and low oil pressure shut down alarms as well as interstage and final pressure relief valves protect the compressor and its components. Our compressors are designed to auto drain every 15 minutes into a silent collection system. Jordair oil & water separator systems are all rated for 6500 PSIG service and include pressure maintaining valve, manual drain valve and auto drain cycle counter. HELIUM compressors come standard with an auxiliary cooling fan and are fully enclosed. All Bauer blocks have a crankshaft rated for up to 30,000 operating hours. CAPACITY CALCULATIONS Compressor Flow Rate is based on the compressor block F.A.D. (Free Air Delivery) FILTRATION SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The JS-6000-A Separator is standard for all HELIUM models. Separator element should be changed every three months in order to minimize oil carry over in the gas stream. 8 BAUER COMPRESSOR BLOCK FEATURES New high velocity, full flow cooling fan assembly that produces high velocity airflow over the coolers, pressure cylinders and crankcase to cool the compressed air and lubricating oil. Drive gear designed for an operating life of up to 30,000 hours. Stainless steel inter and after-coolers for high efficiency cooling and corrosion free operation. Cylinders are hardened through a plasma-nitrate process for up to 10,000 hours of operating life and low wear with excellent lubricating oil retention. Redesigned rings for the HP piston are synthetic material for low wear and a long operating life with very little oil carry over. Single-piece crankcase made of a high strength aluminum alloy for higher stability, larger oil capacity, and low vibration. Full flow oil system with a crankshaft-driven gear pump and full flow oil filter. Visual oil level indicator is designed show the accurate oil level. New reed valve on the first stage which offers higher efficiency and redesigned intake filter reduces intake valve noise.
