13 Passenger Behavioural Simulation San Sebastian 3D simulation for designing new bus layouts as optimized interfaces between vehicle and bus stop, improving accessibility and dwell times. 15
14 Passenger Behavioural Simulation A simulation case study is defined by a bus layout, a bus line (a set of successive bus stops), a population (passengers boarding and alighting the bus at each bus stop), and the operator s parameters for the line (boarding through any door, ticket validation, etc.) 8 types of passengers have been implemented, based on the Personas defined in the former EBSF project. As simulation results, the tool provides the dwell time, the seat time, exit time, and the satisfaction. 16
