The double jacket is laser-welded onto the cylindrical tank casing and transfers the cold or the heat into the fluid inside. This avoids the inner fluid coming into contact with the cooling or heating fluid. Freshest laser-welding technology is being used to fit the double jackets onto the tanks. The positions of the welded circles generate a fluid flow which assures an effective temperature transfer. Large enough diametres should be used for the pipe installation to ensure a sufficient volume flow of 1500 up to 4000 litres. Only such values guarantee an optimal cooling or heating. The double jackets were standardised and dimensioned based on many years of experience. They are prepared for connection to a pipe system installed on site with approbriate refrigerant or heat transfer liquids available. The double jackets are designed for a working pressure of 2,5 up to 6 bar. The dimensioning of the pump, the diametres of the piping and the pressures of the volume flows depend on the application, the cooling or heating device and the total capacity. Notes concerning the water quality: When using water as a cooling or heating fluid, an approbriate water analysis is necessary prior to operation. To avoid corrosion damage, the water must be treated and checked regularly. Protect your system with filters and screens against the intrusion of dirt or iron particles.
