8 Past and present of EV & LIVE: LIVE 2009 LIVE LIVE 2014 LIVE study phase: A study looking into the Logistics for the Implementation of Electromobility in Barcelona concluded that there was a need to promote EV in its early introduction stages through public private partnerships. That is why Plataform LIVE is created 1st EV EcoSystem generation: LIVE, as a public/private collaboration, becomes a motor to establish the bases and first development of EV needs: Actions under coordination and support from PPP + Favorable ecosystem generation + Reference trademark for citizens and companies.. First real market scenario: Functions related with public policy and citizens are derived to public administrations. LIVE has new objectives from 2014, focused in the economic promotion of the sector and expands the territorial focus to the Metropolitan area of Barcelona and Catalunya.

12 LIVE Platform Definition and Objectives: LIVE Platform is a public-private platform open to all the organisations related with the electric and sustainable mobility with the shared objective of developing projects, strategic policies, new business models and establish a knowledge network. Objectives: Sustain and increase Barcelona, its Metropolitan area and Catalunya strategic positioning as an international excellence center for sustainable mobility. Become the nexus between public plans at diferent territorial levels (Barcelona, Metropolitan Area, Catalunya), and share experiences and need between Public and Private sector. Support the private sector to facilitate the generation of local and international projects in the territory, to provide business development tools and to respond to the needs and interests of the sector.
