In the closed toll system, with entrance and exit toll plazas with toll gates or with tolling within interchanges (and surveillance of all motorway entering and exiting vehicles), the toll is charged as per the length travelled and the category of the vehicles which used the motorway. Those single-lane sections of the Motorway (Rogovići to Vranja) are not tolled, but passages are registered. All entrance and exit lanes of the Istrian Y Motorway are fitted with an antenna receiving ETC transactions; all exit interchanges/gates are fitted with machines allowing automatic toll payment in Kuna, by credit card, debit card, INA fuel card and by ETC subscription. The closed toll system was introduced on the Kanfanar to Pula Section on , and on the entire Istrian Y Motorway on In the open toll system, which was in force until (apart from the Kanfanar to Pula Section which has been in the closed toll system since ) and features toll plaza with toll gates or toll areas within interchanges where entrance of each vehicle was registered, each vehicle category was charged a unique toll amount, regardless the length travelled. 3) Possible modulation of toll with regard to hour, date, vehicle category, EURO vehicle category and similar. For details on vehicles exempt from payment, please contact the Concessionaire directly or follow the link: vozila oslobođena plaćanja cestarine A.2.5 Vehicles classification in Price Groups A Vehicle classification parameters A Vehicle categories Vehicle classification parameters are: - type of vehicle; - number of axles; - overall vehicle dimension (height); - maximum permissible weight of a laden vehicle. Vehicles are classified pursuant to Toll Ordinance (NN 130/13) as follows: - Category IA: Motorcycles, motorized tricycle and quads; - Category I: Motor vehicles with two axles, height up to 1.90 m; - Category II: a) Motor vehicles with two axles, height over 1.90 m, whose maximum permissible weight does not exceed 3,500 kg ; b) Motor vehicles with two axles, height up to 1,90 m, towing a trailer, regardless of the number of axles and height of the trailer; - Category III: a) Motor vehicles with two or three axles, whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg; b) Motor vehicles with two axles, whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg, towing a single-axle trailer; c) Motor vehicles under II a) towing a trailer, regardless of the number of axles of the trailer; - Category IV: a) Motor vehicles with four or more axles, whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg; b) Motor vehicles with two axles, whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg, towing a trailer with two or more axles; c) Motor vehicles with three axles, whose maximum permissible weight exceeds 3,500 kg, towing a trailer, regardless of the number of axles of the trailer; Special transport is subject to the Special Transport Ordinance of OG/NN 119/07 and is implemented in accordance with the Ordinance regarding criteria for the calculation of special transport charge of (OG/NN 68/10 ) Transport of dangerous goods is governed by the Act on the transport of dangerous good OG/NN 79/07 dated , applied since

5 A Toll price list The toll, which is charged for vehicles from each category, is defined in accordance with the following conditions: - an amount of toll corresponding to each vehicle category and to each section from the toll area of entrance to the toll area of exit is paid by the user in line with the currently valid price list; - the currently valid price list is available at: - the amount of toll for the use of motorways and tolled structures is redefined on an annual basis. The revision of prices is carried out, subject to exceptions, on 1 January each year; encouarging discounts for the use of the ETC on the current toll rate to be applied in compliance with special commercial conditions set out by the motorway operation company.
