2 Schuitemaker Machines BV was established in 1919 as a manufacturer of machines for the agricultural and industrial sectors. 3 Vision Schuitemaker: the mineral cycle is the starting point for efficient and durable agricultural entrepreneurship. 2 3 Trouble-free manure processing More than 65 years ago, Schuitemaker started building manure spreaders for processing litter manure. In the 1950 s, Schuitemaker launched the well-known SMS3000, which was patented in five countries. This resulted in a healthy growth for the company, where still the priority is to take into account the wishes of our customers. With every development in the field we remain true to our basic principles: reliability, quality and easy to operate. Schuitemaker keeps innovating for her customers, but also takes into account the rules and legislations in the field of dairy farming. Keeping up to date with all machines is essential. The modern dairy farmers and contractors can count on Schuitemaker to follow the latest rules and regulations in the field. 4 ROBUSTA The Robusta pumptankwagon Schuitemaker manufactures pumptankwagons under the brand name of Robusta. The tankwagons are characterized by their high level of stability and respective quality. All the tanks are full bath galvanized and depending on the model they are colour painted. This ensures a longer lifetime of the tanks. The tanks are assembled in combination with a strong chassis, this creates a very stably machine. This stability will be necessary in case a slurry injector get assembled behind the tank. The Robusta pumptankwagons can be supplied in 3 models. One with the function of manure-handling, the transport model and a model which combines manure-handling and transport into one model. The Robusta pumptankwagon can be equipped to your demands and you can choose out of several options.

5 4 5 Börger rotary lobe pump Schuitemaker uses Börger rotary lobe pumps for the Robusta tank line. Rotary lobe pumps ensure an optimum filling of the tank, with all sorts of liquid manure, and a very accurate rate of dosage of the manure. To support the capacity, a turbo-filler can be fitted in the slurry arm as an option. This increases the capacity strongly. The standard cutting filter can be opened hydraulically, from the control box. A real timesaver for not having to leave the cabin all the time. In addition, the cutting filter has a cleaning comb and ejector/slide block so that contaminants can be easily removed. This ensures a longer life for the pump.

6 Manure dosage and control box The Robusta tanks are standard fitted with an 8 speed reduction gearbox which is used to regulate the dosage of the manure gift. The amount of manure delivered depends on the speed. Schuitemaker has the option for a pump drive that it is independent of the speed: a hydrostatic pump drive. The drive has its own closed oil system to ensure that the manure pump is used to its maximum advantage. The hydraulic pump drive is controlled by a Schuitemaker Profi 100 electrical-hydraulic control. The Profi 100 is easy and simple to operate. Drawbar To ensure optimum driving comfort, most of the Schuitemaker Robusta tanks have standard a hydraulic suspended drawbar fitted. This suspended drawbar together with the top pressure cylinder ensures optimum driving comfort on both road and land. Together they bring a perfect weight delivery and balance to the tractor under all circumstances. The Robusta tanks have a thin drawbar so that the turning circle remains small. The drawbars can also be fitted with a drawbar towing eye or a ball coupling K80. Gauge glass and level indicator The Robusta tanks are all fitted with a gauge glass at the front. In addition, a level indicator is fitted at the Robusta tanks. The level indicator is built with an electric switch-off so the tank will be optimally filled. Besides, the tanks are also secured against overflow.

7 Vario track axle Ever since 1996 Schuitemaker has been using the vario track system on her single axle tanks as an option. The Vario track gives an unique opportunity to widen the track of the tank. Using the vario track system, the wheels of the tank do not run in the tracks of the tractor. Advantage of this track system is retaining soil structure. 6 7 The wheels are pushed hydraulically outwards on both sides of the tank using the parallelogram scissor principle, through which each side increases its length with 80 cm. Besides this system, Schuitemaker has optional an axle with a vario track of 65 cm on each side of the tandem tanks. Slurry arms The larger Robusta tanks are standard fitted with an 8 slurry arm. All tanks are also fitted with a 6 fast coupling on the left and right front end. Optional is to unload the tank by using the slurry arm. Although there is an option to fit a swivelling slurry arm. This swivelling slurry arm increases the reach. The Robusta 130 Vario and 160 Vario have a swivelling slurry arm with drip tray as standard.

8 Chassis The tanks with multiple axles are standard fitted with hydraulically suspended axles. Because of this, stability and comfort are assured in the field and on the road at high speed. The tanks are fitted with a hydraulic forced steered axle and hydraulic brakes. Air brakes with braking power control (ALB) on the suspended axles is optional. Tires air pressure exchange system A tires air pressure exchange system can be fitted to the Robusta tanks as an option. By using this system it is possible to set the pressure per square inch at a lower level. Advantage is that the tanks can continue with their work even during wet soil conditions.. Tires The Robusta 130 Vario is fitted with Michelin 1050/50 R32 tires. The 2 and 3 axle tanks have wheel houses, which lead to a limitation for a maximum tire size of 900/65 R32.

9 3 point lifting system All Schuitemaker tanks are fitted with a heavy-duty universal 3 point lifting system. The 3 point lifting system is mounted on the chassis in this way there is no pressure on the body of the tank during the dosage of manure. The lifting system is very easy to operate by the control box. An optional quick locker system can be placed behind by the lift system so that the coupling and uncoupling of manure slurry injectors is simple to do. During the dosage of manure it is possible to switch from pressure injection to non-pressure injection. In addition, the pressure can be varied during the dosage of manure. The lift system on the Robusta is fitted with a reversible/negative Pressure valve as standard so that the slurry injector itself can be raised during the dosage. 8 9 Weighing and sampling Most of the multiple axle tanks are prepared for calibrated weighing and sampling. This can also be added and installed at a later stage. The advantage is these tanks can be used for manure transport and manurehandling as well.

Main condition according to Schuitemaker is the importance of the slurry tank remaining properly manageable, even under the most difficult circumstances. Torsionfree steering of all axles is a unique feature of the slurry tank thanks to its unique and innovative design. Main advantage is less wear of the tyres and less damage on the land. The tridem tank, fitted with a variable tyre pressure system, can also be used as a injector tank. The tandem, tridem and quattro are standard fitted with a hydraulic suspension. The pumptankwagons are often used, in combination with a manure sampling unit and a special calibrated weighing system, for the transportation of manure from one farmer to another.

12 PERFEKTA The Perfekta vacuumtanks Schuitemaker manufactures vacuum tanks under the brand name Perfekta. These vacuum tanks are also usable in manurehandling and transport. The Perfekta is fitted with a vacuum pump, it creates vacuum in the tank to fill it up. To empty the tank a upper pressure will be created in the tank, which pushes the manure outside. The Perfekta is completely galvanized. In short, the Perfekta excels in simplicity and durability.

14 EXACTA Construction An important characteristic of all the Exacta slurry injectors is the well thought out construction. Even though the machine has a large working width, it is still compact. The construction of the centre frame ensures that the slurry injector is built with an extremely short length; in this way, the slurry injector can be mounted directly behind the tank. The centre of gravity of the machines is thus also close to the rear side of the tank in order to achieve a good weight distribution for the whole combination. ❶ Unique HYDROCARE ground following Because the slurry injectors continue to increase in working width, it has become increasingly important to ensure an even pressure on the disks and the injection system over the total working width. To overcome this problem Schuitemaker supplies the HYDROCARE ground following system. This system ensures perfect track following; all elements are fitted with hydraulic cylinders to adjust to the soil type. Each element can react individually to obstacles and, in addition, the ground pressure can be perfectly adjusted for dry or wet circumstances. Because the hydraulic cylinders are connected with each other, ideal ground following can be achieved even in the tractor and tanker tracks, for example. The elements are also following steered for some degrees.

15 ❶ ❷ ❸ ❷ Side arms The Exacta slurry injector has great vertical movement potential due to the pivoting suspended arms. The side arms fold up hydraulically and have a mechanical locking system. The two arms can unfold and fold simultaneously. In addition, both of the side arms fold inwards more than 90 degrees. This means that the highest point is in the middle of the machine. The advantages are a lower transporting height and more stability. ❸ Transport safety To guarantee safety during travelling, the Exacta slurry injector is fitted with protection for the disks on the outside of the elements. The side arms are fitted with mechanical locks. In addition, the Exacta slurry injector is fitted with road lights and a reflector plate. The total transport width is less than 3 meters for all models. The transport height is less than four meters for the Exacta 800, 870 and 1230.

16 Distributor The Exacta slurry injector is fitted with a 44, 48 or 52 holes Vogelsang distributor. The distributor has a simple triangular rotor with a large duct. The single row run ensures a good and constant distribution of the slurry. The cutting discs are exchangeable. In addition there is a middle chamber so that the mixing of oil and slurry can be avoided. The Exacta 1230 has 2 pieces 34 holes Vogelsang distributor. Schuitemaker delivers a 5 PVC slurry pressure pipe with the slurry injectors. ❶ Slurry nozzles Hard wearing coulter and flexible slurry nozzles ensure an accurate slurry delivery/gift in the slit, also with a hard subsoil. The pinch-off system operates using six hydraulic cylinders. The slurry nozzle and the pinch-off hose are combined in one piece with an inside diameter of 60 mm. The slurry nozzles have a longer working life because the hard wearing coulter holds the slit open longer and thus protects the slurry nozzle from unnecessary wear.

This means that it is important that they are reliable and maintenance friendly. The machine has thus, for example, only two pivot points and is fitted as standard with an automatic grease lubrication system (12 volt or optionally 24 volt). In addition, all disks have a unique Schuitemaker nylon protection layer to ensure that no dirt gets into the bearings. ❸ Winter storage Every Exacta slurry injector will be delivered with an additional supportframe in order to guarantee safe storage during the wintertime. In addition the slurry nozzles can be hydraulically opened and left in position. In this way the rubber slurry nozzles are protected against possible distortion and unnecessary wear out. ❹ GPS precision fertilizer Optimum manure utilization will have a major role in the future. Therefore precision fertilization is introduced, an optimal distribution of the site-specific fertilizer can be used with it. Always a perfect connection to the already fertilized part and no overlap on the flared land and the headlands. 18 SMS & CALYPSO ❸ The SMS and Calypso manure spreaders The SMS and Calypso are wide spreaders suitable for spreading stall manure, compost, chalk and garden waste among other things. The SMS is fitted with horizontal distribution beaters and the Calypso with vertical distribution beaters. Due to the clever construction of the beaters, the Calypso can produce a wide spread and still distribute a fine uniform layer. The hydraulic door, which is placed in front of the beaters, can also serve as a measuring slide for fine material.

The speed can be variably adjusted using the variable speed regulator. The scraper floor can be tensioned using the mechanical scraper floor tensioner.
