2 CONDITIONS OF SALE The highest bidder to be the purchaser (but the Auctioneers reserve the right of refusing any bid) and if any dispute arises at the last bid, the Auctioneers may name the purchaser or put the lot up for sale again at the Auctioneers discretion. The Auctioneers to fix the rate of bidding. All prospective purchasers are to make themselves known to the Auctioneers prior to the time of sale, give their full name, trading name, address and contact details. All prospective purchasers not known to the auctioneers and who wish to pay by cheque must contact the auctioneers prior to the sale day to make arrangements and provide two references and a bankers reference. Payment may be made by cash, cheque, bankers draft or a bank card. There will be a charge for payment by bank card as follows: Personal debit card no charge, Personal credit card 2%, Business debit/credit card 2.5% All purchases to be paid for upon the fall of the hammer and on the day of sale. No purchases over 1000 will be released until funds are cleared. Please Note: Cash transactions over 10,000 cannot be accepted according to Government Legislation. VAT will be payable on all lots in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable unless otherwise stated. Neither the vendors nor the Auctioneers make any warranty regarding engine hours or vehicle mileages. All descriptions, either written or verbal, are for guidance purposes only. The Auctioneers or Vendors will not be responsible for the accuracy of any such description. All lots are sold with all faults and errors of description. Purchasers must satisfy themselves prior to the sale of a lot, as to the condition of each lot and should exercise and rely on their own judgement as to whether the lot accords with its description. Prospective purchasers should be aware that from time to time lots are withdrawn and other lots added. Please contact the Auctioneers prior to the sale to ensure that any particular item of machinery is included in the sale. It is the purchasers own responsibility to ensure all plant machinery and/or equipment complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 before the purchased items are used in any place of work. The Auctioneers, as agent for the vendor, reserve the right to bid up to the reserve price where set (if any) on all lots. At the fall of the hammer, the Purchaser will take full responsibility for the lot. The lot may not be removed from the sale premises before payment is made in full. All lots must be paid for on the day of the sale. No person will be allowed to remove any lot(s) without the printed pass to do so. Lots must be cleared within 7 days of sale. Failure on behalf of the Purchaser to pay for any lot(s) will result in a re-sale. Any deficit or costs incurred will be the responsibility of the Original Purchaser. The Vendors and the Auctioneers, as the Vendor's Agent, retain all title in any lots until all purchase monies have been paid in full. Outstanding monies will be charged interest at an interest rate of 4% above the bank base lending rate. 14. In all cases of transfer, the Original Purchaser shall be responsible for purchase money. 15. The Auctioneers will be pleased to take written commission bids prior to the sale. Forms are available on request. 16. The usual Conditions of Sale will apply, a copy of which will be displayed on the morning of the sale. All prospective purchasers should ensure they have read and understood those Conditions. The act of bidding will be taken as acceptance of them. 3 PURCHASERS - GENERAL INFORMATION Location and Directions to the Sale Bunyan Farm is situated on the south side of the Stagsden High Street in the centre of the village opposite The Royal George pub. However there being little room in the farm yard a car Park is provided at the North end of the village, also on the south side of the High Street some 150 yards or so from the farm entrance. To the sale and car park signs will be erected on the day of sale. Please see the location plan on the reverse of this catalogue. Refreshments Light hot and cold refreshments will be available during the sale. Viewing Viewing of the machinery and equipment can be made on the morning of the sale from 9.00am or strictly by appointment with the auctioneers prior to the date of sale. VAT VAT will be payable on all lots in addition to the hammer price at the current standard rate payable unless otherwise stated at the time of auction Security and Loading of Lots A security check will be made as you leave the sale site. Please be ready to show the staff your receipted account.the Vendors and Auctioneers will not be responsible for the security of items left after 5pm on the sale day. Please note the Auctioneers reserve the right to withhold purchases until cheques are cleared. Removal of Lots All lots must be cleared by the 26th October. Registration of Bidders The Auctioneers request all willing purchasers obtain a buyers bid number from the Bidding Registration Desk prior to the commencement of the sale. Failure to obtain a buyer s bid number may result in the Auctioneer refusing to accept your bid. If you have traded with Bletsoes in the past and have a permanent bidding number, please use this number. Additional Lots The sale field offers little room for included lots and whilst we are happy to accept included lots, of an agricultural nature only, there will be a cut off point and we apologise in advance to our clients if we find ourselves in a position to have to do so.
