Forward / Reverse 1. Planetary Reducer (Heavy Duty Grease)

3 Inspect: 1. Check for damaged, deformed, cracked, corroded, loose, worn or missing parts, fasteners and welds 2. Touch up any damaged painted surfaces to prevent further corrosion 3. Check the gear reducers for leaks Aft. Manifolds: 1. Valves 2. Remove and replace caps 3. Flow water - (Coordinate w/ engineer during fire pump op s) 1. Handles / Wheels 1. Wipe down 2. Wax 3. Chrome (Bright Boy Polish) Fwd. Anchor Windlass: 1. Forward / Reverse 1. Cathead Weldment (Heavy Duty Grease) 2. Bushing Machining s (Heavy Duty Grease) 3. Brake Nut Machining s (Heavy Duty Grease) 4. Planetary Reducer (Shell Omala 220 or equal) Inspect: 1. Check for damaged, deformed, cracked, corroded, loose, worn or missing parts, fasteners and welds 2. Check brake lining for wear. Make sure fasteners are not scoring the brake drum Do not allow the liner to have less than 1/16 3. Inspect brake components for signs of cracking, deformation and fatigue 4. Inspect the chain regularly for signs of fatigue 5. Touch up any damaged painted surfaces to prevent further corrosion 6. Check the gear reducers for leaks Fwd. Capstan: 1. Forward / Reverse

Check condition of all hydraulic hoses and fittings for the capstan and controls for leaks, wear, deterioration or abrasion 2. Inspect the condition of the Pelican hook 3. Inspect the condition and lubrication of the turnbuckle tensioner 4. Inspect the condition and lubrication of the chain stopper and hawse pipe roller ensuring freedom of movement of all components 5. Inspect the capstan foundation for any indications of structural deformity and for security of the capstan mounting 6. Check the bitter end connecting link Fwd. Manifolds: 1. Valves 2. 6 CBRN Filters: Cleaning: (Pre-filter cleaning options If Necessary) 1. Turn pre-filter inside out and use a vacuum to remove dirt and debris 2. Place pre-filters in washing machine (regular cycle / standard detergent). Line dry Roughing Filter: 1. Remove roughing filter - Clean w/ mild detergent / water Machinery Space Roughing Filters: (Not Installed yet) CIC Room: Cleaning: (If Necessary) 1. Inspect for damage / dirt / debris 2. 7 Thursday: (Hatches / Gates / Doors / Monitors / Wheelhouse / Hallways / Stairwells) Hatches: Inspect: (All) 1. Open / close / dog hatches 2. Ensure that the gasket / seal is in good condition (No cuts, abrasions, protrusions, etc.) 3. Remove standing water 4. Lubricate as needed (Hatch hinges and pins) Bulwark Gates: Inspect: (All) 1. Condition and lubrication of hinge pins 2. Proper alignment of the gates in a closed position 3. Condition and lubrication of hold backs 4. Condition and lubrication of the latch pins Weathertight Doors: Inspect: (All) 1. Closure device to ensure freedom of movement 2. Freedom of movement of door hinges and grease as needed 3. Proper door alignment between frame knife edge and door gasket channel or door sealing surfaces ensuring that there are no nicks, burrs, distortions, etc. and ensure proper contact with the gasket or sealing arrangement 4. Inspect the dog engagement for proper contact and closing force 5. Test the door alarm (if outfitted) Monitors: (All) Inspect: 1. Damage / corrosion 2. Loose Hardware 3. Leaking hydraulic hoses and fittings 4. Repair paint damage Wheelhouse: 1. Sweep, mop and polish floors 2. Dust / degrease all surfaces 3. Remove scuff marks from cabinetry 4. Wash interior windows 5. Empty trash

Check all securing hardware (Cotter pins, snap rings, hairpins, and pin keepers for proper installation) 3. Check load line and end attachment for corrosion, severe kinking, crushing, cutting or slippage of cable clamps or wedge socket 4. Position of load line through guides and sheaves Accessories: 1. Controls and remotes 2. Check safety covers for proper installation Stowage: 1. Crane bedded properly (cable located within the cradle cutout) 2. Basket properly slewed (not against the stop) 3. Towel dry all dark painted / bare metal surfaces 5. Clean / polish stacks Wheelhouse: 1. Soap / Degrease all surfaces 2. Prevent corrosion (Ospho or Oxalic acid followed by soap and water) 3. Towel dry all dark painted / bare metal surfaces 4. Wash and dry windows Boat Deck: 1. Soap / degrease all surfaces w/ soft brushes 2.
