3 1. Safety Caution/danger :please read instructions before use, this is a dangerous machine if not used properly A DO NOT wear loose clothing or glover as death or dismemberment can occur. (with gloves on when feeding wire/cable, gloves can snag on scrap wire and bring hand into machine) B Only to be operated by qualified personal whom have read instructions. C DO NOT operate machine outside of machine specifications. D DO NOT touch the running machine or moving parts while machine is running. E DO NOT remove machine guards, Only to be removed for maintenance and oiling by qualified personal and quickly put back on the machine after maintenance is complete. F DO NOT allow children or untrained personal near machine. G DO NOT use this machine in the rain, if peeling wet cable/wire, keep the knife dry, oil the machine often, test the knifepoint and machine for oxidation. H Turn off the machine after use

4 2. Specification and installation: 2.1 Purposes: Applicable range: The machine is widely used in recyclable resources industry. Its functions are to separate the insulation from the conductors for the waste cables, to recycle the copper, aluminum, plastics, rubbers, etc., inside. The equipment is of superior quality and low price, no loss in stripping, with low energy consumption, high economic benefits, easy to operate, and is a environment-friendly machine without pollution The types of cables to treat: 1. Round cable: Dia. φ1.5mm~φ40mm; 2. Sheathed flat cable: 14mm 8mm (W T) 3. Twisted flat cable: 8mm 6mm (W T); 4. 5 There are inlets above the main shaft and Pro-arm shaft, and you shall select the correct inlets for the cables of various diameters, to guarantee proper cables feed. There are blades installed on the blade shaft and pro-bottom blade shaft, corresponding to all inlets above the main shaft and Pro-arm shaft, to guarantee proper cables stripping in a line. When the machine starts, the running direction of each shaft and the main shaft is shown in the diagram. The cables are fed manually to the inlets, pressed by blade stripping, the two shafts run oppositely to feed cables in a line. After 2-time stripping, the insulation layer is separately from the conductor, for reclaim. 2.4 Handle, transport and storage: Handle: The machine has wheels, you can hold T handle and incline it to push for a short distance. If you need to move it faraway, or raise it, you will need a forklift and other assistant tools Transport: In transport, you shall guarantee clearances between two machines, they shall not scrape, collide to each other and you shall take actions to fix them, in order to avoid accidents Storage: It is recommended that users shall store in a dry and well-ventilated place for 24 hours every day Composition and installation: Composition:

6 The machine is composed of the following parts: 1. Safeguard part; 2. Inlet part; 3. Electrical part; 4. Cable stripping part; 5. Adjustment part; 6. Transmission part; 7. Rack part Functions of each part: Safeguard part: The safeguard part mainly includes left and right belt wheel covers, transmission shaft cover, inlet cover, mainly to guarantee operators safety, and avoid any accidents on the machine Adjusting part The adjustment part mainly includes left adjustor, right adjustor, upper adjustor and lower adjustor. Upper adjustor: The upper adjustor is mainly composed of following (shown in the diagram). Main functions: tighten T handle or loosen, to adjust the spring pressure on the bearing seat. Rear T handle: used to adjust Stripping spindle. 1 In stripping, when the cutting depth on a cable is not enough, you shall pull the rear T handle down, if the cutting depth on the cable is still not enough, you shall replace it with a smaller inlet for stripping. 2 When the machine is stripping a thick cable, cannot feed, and the blade cuts the conductor (copper) inside, you shall loosen the T handle properly for normal stripping. Front T handle: used to adjust the interval between the upper-side and lower-side of Assistant stripping shaft properly, for a good stripping performance. When the outers of cables attach to the grinding wheel, you shall loosen the front T handle appropriately, If you find that the blade deviates, please refer to 3. Left and right adjustor in the operational manual;

7 The function of butterfly nut: after adjusting by T handle, you shall tighten the butterfly nut. Schematic diagram Lower adjustor: The lower adjustor is composed of following (shown in the diagram). Front lower T type handle (each on left and right) adjustment (Pro-arm shaft), rear lower T type handle (each on left and right) adjustment (blade shaft). The main functions: tighten or loosen the front T handle, raise or drop the small wallboard to adjust the distance between the blade and bottom inlet (cutting depth), to guarantee the normal stripping performance. In stripping, if the blade cannot reach the appropriate depth, you shall refer to 1. Adjust upper adjustor in the operational manual, if it still cannot reach, you shall tighten or loosen the T handle to guarantee normal stripping performance. The function of M8 nut: after adjusting by T, you shall tighten M8 nut. Schematic diagram

8 Left and right adjustor: The left and right adjustor is mainly composed of following (shown in the diagram). The main functions: adjust bolt, to make the blade center on the blade shaft aimed at the inlet center corresponding to the main shaft. When the center deviates, the blade will not cut along the cable center. You also shall adjust M8 nut to fix the stripping spindle, then tighten M8 nut, to avoid loosening and dropping. 9 Inlet part: The inlet part is mainly composed of following (shown in the diagram). The main functions: lead cables to enter for processing. Before stripping, you shall select the correct inlet according to a cable diameter for processing (the range is shown in following diagram). If you can select several inlets in a same time, you shall try processing from the thickest to thinnest, in order to select the most suitable inlet for processing. Note: you shall remove the plug or joint in advance for any cable with a plug or joint, otherwise, it will influence the stripping performance and damage the machine. Schematic diagram Cable stripping part: The cable stripping part mainly includes the main shaft assembly, blade shaft assembly, Pro-arm shaft assembly, Pro-bottom blade shaft assembly, and its functions are to strip and reclaim cables Transmission part: The transmission part mainly includes: transmission shaft assembly, all belt wheels and chain wheels, to transfer the power in transmission. The motor belt tightness adjustment: The rack motor position is made by angle-steel welding, in a U -groove shape, and the motor is fixed by bolts. When the motor belt is loosened or sliding, you can loosen motor

10 bolts, to tighten the belt properly, and tighten the bolts to fix the motor again. The belt tightness adjustment between the transmission shaft and spindle: The coupling between the transmission shaft with bearing and rack is in a U -groove shape, fixed by bolts, the adjustment method is as same as the motor belt Rack part: The rack part is mainly composed front feet, rear feet and motor panel by welding. The main function is to connect each assembly, to guarantee the strength and height of the machine, for stable and reliable operation Electrical part: The electrical part mainly includes the following: motor, switches,, power supply cable, plugs, etc. The power supply AC230V, 50HZ, the neutral N is used, and users shall connect the protection cable PE. Before you turn on the power supply and start, you shall check whether all wirings carefully, whether each electrical component is fine, then you can turn on Wiring diagram Schematic diagram

11 2.6 Precautions in commissioning: Check 1. Check whether the machine is fixed after installation. 2. Check whether any transmission part or component is loosened. 3. Check whether the electrical part is fine Start: 1. Turn on power supply and start. 2. Try to start stripping, and select the correct inlet. 3. Adjustor upper adjustor and lower adjustor, for a good stripping performance. 4. Start stripping in a great quantity. 3. Operation: 1. Before using, please read the operational manual carefully,non-operators can not use the machine 2. The AC230V power supply, you shall connect properly. 3. Turn "on" connect electric current, turn "start" to running machine 4. The inlet part is composed of several inlets, and you shall select the inlet for stripping as specified in When any accidents happen, you shall push STOP to stop immediately. 6.Turn"off" to stop the machine after processing finish, and press "Stop" to cut off electric power. 7. Clear off all residues on the machine after processing. 8. Store in a dry and well-ventilated place for 24 hours every day.

Adjust the upper adjustor and lower adjustor; 3. Adjust the left adjustor and right adjustor, to make the blade aimed at the inlet center; 4. Check whether the blade is fine; 5. Replace with a new blade; 1. Check whether the belt is fine, replace if it is damaged; 2. Adjust the motor s position; 1. Check whether the belt is fine, replace if it is damaged; 2. Adjust the transmission shaft s position; 1. Check whether any part or component is loosened; 2. Check whether the bearing is fine; 3. Check whether the chain is fine; 1. Check whether the Shovel is abraded; 2. Too great grinding force, adjust the upper adjustor; 5. Maintenance 1. Please clean the machine after use. 2. Spread greases on chain wheel and bearing. 3. Spread antirust oil on the spindle and blade shaft. 4. Make sure belts are tight and in good condition.
