2 IMPORTANT NOTES 1 This Auction takes place due to the retirement of Ben & Nick after almost 40 years in the motor trade helping to keep ancient and modern wheels turning in the Bury St Edmunds area. Ben & Nick will be sadly missed with their lifetime of experience in the trade and fairness to all their many customers. Parking in the farmyard opposite to the sale site has kindly been made available by R C Rush & Sons. 2 Removal of Lots: All moveable equipment not collected on the day of the sale or on Sunday 22 nd April 2018 between 9am and 6pm must be collected before Saturday 28 th April Fixed equipment must be collected by Saturday 5 th May Buyers must contact Ben Magnani on or Nick Gray on beforehand to arrange entry to the yard. All lots will be the purchaser s responsibility and liability at the fall of the hammer, whether paid for or not. 3 Health & Safety: Notices will be posted in the Sale Office and copies are available if required or can be downloaded from Peter Crichton s website Please read these details carefully. 4 Haulage: Haulage of larger items can be arranged with Robert Hartley Tel: ; James P Dixon Tel: / ; Stuart Gray Tel: Number Bidding: All prospective purchasers must complete a Registration Form and register in the office on the viewing day or morning of the sale to receive a number for bidding. PLEASE COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM BEFORE COMING TO THE SALE AND BRING IT TO THE SALE OFFICE AS THIS WILL SAVE TIME. 6 Payment: If purchasers wish to pay by cheque and are not well known to the Auctioneer, then no lot will be removed from the site until the cheque has cleared or without a suitable bank reference addressed to the Auctioneer prior to the sale. Payment can be made Credit/Debit Card, but please note there will be a 2.5% charge for Credit Card payments, but no charge for Debit Cards. 7 Hours and Mileage: Are as at the time of cataloguing. V5 documents (where applicable) will only be supplied after clearance of cheques or other payments. 8 Lot Measurements: All measurements are approximate, but buyers are advised to check these before purchase. Follow the road for approx. 1 mile before turning left into Church Road. The Sale Site will be found on the left hand side with parking in the farmyard on the right hand side, space permitting. Travelling north from Sudbury on the A134 after entering the village of Great Welnetham take the right hand turning just after the village shop / post office, signposted to Little Welnetham and Bradfield St George. Follow the road for approx. 1 mile before turning left into Church Road. The Sale Site will be found on the left hand side with parking in the farmyard on the right hand side, space permitting. Sensible parking on the roadside is permitted should the car park become full, but please do not obstruct the public highway. To The Sale signs will be in position on viewing and sale days.
