2 Mopar policies ensure parts are returned in new, unused, undamaged, and saleable condition Examples of Acceptable and Not Acceptable returns are provided on the following pages Please use this information as guidelines when preparing your Mopar Parts returns

3 GUIDELINE: ORIGINAL PACKAGING Required for MRA Reason Codes: All NOT Original Mopar box Mopar-applied blue sticker is acceptable for non-original packaging Molding that has been removed from the original Mopar package A replacement box is unacceptable for a Mopar packaged part. If the part is not packaged by Mopar, it can be returned with or without a package

4 GUIDELINE: UNCOMPROMISED PACKAGING Required for MRA Reason Codes: RA, 01, 07 and after Jan 2012 also for GR Also immediately for these less frequent MRA Reason Codes: BR, IR, TR, 14 NOT * Tears, rips, holes Dents and crush-marks Crushed box with Mopar Blue Label is acceptable Crushed box without Mopar Blue Label is NOT acceptable *If Mopar assigns Scrap = Y, Damaged Packaging may be accepted

5 GUIDELINE: UNCOMPROMISED PACKAGING Required for MRA Reason Codes: RA, 01, 07 and after Jan 2012 also for GR Also immediately for these less frequent MRA Reason Codes: BR, IR, TR, 14 NOT * Extremely minor ding in box part not exposed or compromised. If dealer received the part via UPS, the condition of any added over-pack for shipping is irrelevant. As long as the inner original package and part is still in good condition, it is acceptable. Weather-damaged packages are not acceptable. UPS over-pack envelope condition irrelevant. Over-pack box condition irrelevant. *If Mopar assigns Scrap = Y, Damaged Packaging may be accepted

6 GUIDELINE: UNCOMPROMISED PACKAGING (opening of packages) Required for MRA Reason Codes: RA, 01, 07, GR Also these less frequent MRA Reason Codes: BR, IR, TR, 14 NOT Opened boxes must be resealed; box and part must be in good condition Clear plastic bags that have been opened even if resealed, not acceptable Clear plastic wraps or bags that have been opened and resealed not acceptable Clear plastic over cardboard backing: Use discretion Parts that are completely visible in these packages should not be opened. If package needs to be opened to validate the right color (eg/a molding), then it must be opened neatly and resealed (see examples next page). If the plastic is peeling away due to erosion of the adhesive, part will be accepted

Double-sided cardboard wrap opened neatly and resealed, as long as part is still in good condition. Non-Transparent plastic ripped open even if resealed, not acceptable Double-sided cardboard wrap ripped open, resealed, not acceptable.

8 GUIDELINE: WRITING ON PACKAGES Applies to MRA Reason Codes: All Currently, writing on packages is acceptable. This should be limited to reasonable business purposes.

9 GUIDELINE: UNDAMAGED and DEFECT FREE PART Required for MRA Reason Codes: ALL Except Claims for Damage NOT No dings, dents, or scratches. Part is pristine. Molding part is not bent, ends intact, no scuffing Door handle broken Scratch on A -Surface part GUIDELINE: NEW, UNUSED, UNPAINTED Required for MRA Reason Codes: ALL, possible exception of Codes 12,13 (case-by-case) NOT No paint present. Not previously installed or used Transmission with signs of use Painted door
