Type KFL are machines which are suited for straight folding operations, and because of their low clamping beams, are ideal for channel sections, and z-profiles. Series 3000 consists of 14 models, capable of handling capacities of pipes from Ø40x1.5 to 457x8.5 mm. Comac bending machines are equipped with the most enhanced features that make them a popular choice among professional bending companies. All parts subject to stress or wear such as shafts, rolls, gears are built with the best materials available to insure a nearly endless life and a minimum operation costs. Every model is available in conventional version, with position controllers or with CNC control. Advantages of Comac Series 3000: All 3 rolls are driven. The larger models are with hydraulically adjustable rolls. The central roll is equipped with an adjustable system to compensate the peripheral speed between inner and outer side of the profile and achieve more accurate bending radii. The large sized roll shafts are journalled in heavy duty self-aligning roller bearings, grease and sealed, completely maintenance-free. The lateral guide rolls are adjustable in axial, radial and swinging positions; the hydraulic adjustment is available or standard on most models The bending rolls are made from nickel-chromium-molybden alloyed steel, carburized, quenched and tempered to withstand the high compression stress and prevent the wear even with the toughest material grades. The design makes it easy and cheap to customise the machines to meet special customer requirements. All controllers are based on OEM hardware of leading suppliers available off the shelf throughout the world; no custom electric or electronic component is used. The standard machines are controlled by means of a push button that allows the variation of the position of the bending rolls and by a pedal that control the advance and retreat of the profile. Depending on the job to be carried out, numerous controls are available, such as hydraulic regulation of the lateral guide rolls, speed regulation by means of a potentiometer, double speed positioning of the bending rolls and remote control of the special tooling.
