3 Competition twin-plates Featuring higher clamping load than our STR series, the competition twin-plate clutches below are designed specifically for racing applications including drag racing. Power handling capacity varies according to the specific model. As a general guide A-size clutches are recommended for up to 450hp, B-size for up to 550hp and C-size for up to 650hp, however power handling will vary up or down depending on the torque of your engine. 4 R3C triple-plates For drag racing and other extreme applications, the R3C triple-plate offers up to 850hp power handling in a lightweight and compact clutch system. Using a floating hub design also makes the clutch cheaper to rebuild. The clamping pressure of 1090kg is still acceptable for street driving, while offering great resistance to slip in drag applications. All versions feature a lightweight chrome-moly flywheel and gold-anodised billet aluminium clutch cover. Power handling is well in excess of 1000hp. In fact it has been tested in drag cars producing over 1200hp with no slip apparent. However, due to the multiplate design, it is surprisingly drivable for street applications, retaining the same clamping force as the R3C design. 5 Adjustable cam gears Produced specifically for Otomoto, these adjustable cam gears are one of the best-value modifications you can make to your engine. With aftermarket cams, adjusting the cam angle for the ideal overlap and timing is essential for the best result. Even a single adjustable cam gear (on the exhaust side of an RB25 for example) can give a significant improvement right across the rev range. 6 Superlock LSD The OS Giken Superlock LSD is a unique mechanical design. Unlike most LSD centres of this type, which use only 4-8 plates per side, the OS Giken centre has been designed to carry 14 plates per side. This gives the Super Lock LSD unparalleled smoothness and ensures total locking under load. This makes it the perfect upgrade for modified cars used for street, drift, race or drag applications. 7 RB race engines The ultimate upgrade for your RB26, these complete, pre-assembled bottom-end kits are rated to handle power outputs up to 1400hp. The RB30 features 86mm stroke with a forged chromemoly crank, forged chromemoly SCM steel H-beam conrods and forged 4032 aluminium 86mm pistons. It is made using a new Nissan block and specially designed spacer and liner kit. Special features not found in a normal RB26 include an 8- bolt flywheel pattern*, 22mm gudgeon pins and 23mm rod bearing width. Nismo black metal crankshaft bearings are used, with specially designed crank cap bolts. The bottom end is supplied complete with a metal head gasket, specially designed head stud bolts, adjustable timing gears, tensioner pulley and longer timing belt. Suggested maximum rpm for the RB30 is 9000rpm. The new RB315 features 89mm stroke and 86.5mm pistons for 3138cc capacity. Normal combustion chamber volume comes to 10cc, but specially shaped pistons can also be custom-ordered. The RB315 is built using an N1 block, with the same spacer and liner arrangement as the RB30, with an oil restrictor and piston cooler jets already fitted. Suggested max rpm for the RB315 is 8500rpm. The gear axis distance has been increased to 88mm and using mainly forged materials the gearbox can withstand up to 1500hp. The gears are helically cut for low operating noise, but dog-engagement offers the fastest gearshift to suit racing applications. The OS88 comes with a bellhousing, gearshifter and digital shift indicator, with a pull-up lock for engaging reverse gear easily. HS type coilovers The new HS series coilovers for 2012 have been designed with every-day driving comfort as a higher priority. They use a twin-tube damper design, with less aggressive damping than the larger diameter mono-tube type dampers in the HR and HA series. Spring rates are also generally 15-20% softer than the HR series. The top mounting plate uses a rubber bushing to reduce noise and harshness, while retaining camber-adjustment sliders for strut models. Like the HR series the new HS uses an adjustable base bracket for easy height adjustment. Compared to similarly priced coilovers on the market they offer far more advanced design and specifications. Large-diameter mono-tube type dampers feature a 44mm internal piston size on most models and 15-step damping adjustment. For strut models the damper is inverted for greater strength and reduced unsprung weight. All models feature high-grade pillow-ball top mounts at the front, with camber adjustment on strut-type models. Height is adjusted only by the movable base bracket, so the

9 spring seat simply keeps the spring captive. This means the same great performance at any ride height. For 2012 the rear top mounts now use a rubber bush to reduce cost and also reduce vibration. 10 Front camber arms Type 1 HSD Sleeve kits For older cars or models with no off-the-shelf coilovers available, HSD offers a sleeve kit to convert traditional struts to an adjustable-height coilover design. Available in 45, 48, 51 and 55mm ID, the weld-on kit includes two sleeves, two spring seats, two lock nuts, two main springs, two helper springs and two upper spring locators, plus a pair of HSD C-spanners. For the 45, 48 and 51mm kit a 65ID spring is used and you can choose any spring rate between 3kg/mm and 9kg/mm. The 55mm kit uses a 70mm ID spring and we carry rates from 5kg/mm up to 7kg/mm. Note that shorter dampers may be required to keep the spings captive. The strut tube will also need to be shortened to suit. Our main springs have a free length of 200mm and the helper spring is 50mm. Upper spring seats are supplied with an 8mm pilot hole. Racing Service Watanabe has manufactured the classic eight-spoke style of alloy wheel since Watanabe wheels are used in most forms of motor racing in Japan, including several Japanese openwheel classes. The inherent strength and light weight of the eight-spoke design makes it an enduring success, not to mention the timeless styling which suits both modern cars and classics going right back to the early sixties. The alloy versions are already light, but for the serious racer magnesium-alloy wheels are also available, reducing the wheel weight by a further 35%.
