Company Description ERKO company was founded in 1981 by an engineer - Roman Petlak. The company headquaters are situated in Jonkowo, near Olsztyn, and the production department near Jaslo, Poland. ERKO has always been the family company, therefore the founder s family actively participates in the company management. We are one of the leading Polish producers of various types of cable terminals and connectors, as well as tools for electrical works. Our own engineering office, advanced technology of production and a modern and flexible fleet of machines enable us to react quickly to the individual customer's needs. Our mission is to come up to our customers needs and expectations about production and supply of high quality products for electro-installation works. The professional service, observance of the law and efficient logistics are the basic values of ERKO activity. 4 Commercial information 1 Assortment The assortment consists of over 1700 types of wire terminals and connectors for pressing on Al and Cu cables with the cross-section of 0,14 mm mm 2. The offer also contains mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic tools, intended for: - pressing terminals, - cable processing, - cutting holes in steel sheets and plastic, - busbar conductors and mounting rails' processing. Certificates and admissions ERKO products meet requirements for electrical equipment, and earned all necessary certificates and admissions. In general, cable lugs and connectors are produced according to DIN and PN standards. The opinion issued by the Electrotechnical Institute in Warsaw on the quality of ERKO electrical devices admit these to be installed in plants, which generate, transmit and utilize electrical energy. Cable lugs also earned the admission of Polish Ship Register to be used on ships (VO insulating class according to individual arrangements). The company works on the strength of the Quality and Environmental Management System, which has been implemented and in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO ERKO products earned the GOST-R Certificate of Accordance and UkrSEPRO Certificate of Accordance. Trade remarks The rate is our trump. It takes 48 hours for us to execute an order for standard products.the commodity runs through a courier service or by mail. The quantity of packed lugs and connectors is mentioned in the catalogue. It is possible to compile an assortment for objects, ships, control boxes, etc. Products beyond standard are performed on the basis of individual arrangements with the customer. Single dent for Cu terminals without insulation made according to DIN standard, and pin terminals made according to DIN standard in range of 0,1 120 mm 2 wire section, as well as tubular Cu terminals in range of 0,5 6 mm 2 wire section (e.g. KOA, KWA, KLA). Pressing cable terminals and connectors 1. Select appropriate terminal to a cable. 2. Fix the pressing form. 3. Strip the wire at the length corresponding with a tubular part of a terminal (practical advice: for flexible and extra flexible multi-strand wires strip an insulation at the length of 3 mm, then put the cable into a terminal and strip the rest; that will prevent arising so-called brush, which makes putting a wire into a terminal difficult. 4. Take off oxides and corrosion from wire before pressing. 5. Insert a wire till the end of a tubular part of a terminal, or till connector s narrowing. 6. Select appropriate tool (see the last column of terminal s dimension tables) 7. Press till crimping dies will join, or till the pouring valve of a hydraulic pump will act. 8. Pressing can be done single-time (e.g. KOA, KOE), or be repeated (e.g. KCR, KLA).
