12 E D G E B L A D E 147 mm Edge Blade combines the Slot Blade and Micro Blade technologies to produce an up/down system. The Micro Blade, facing upwards is locked onto the body of the downward facing Slot Blade extrusion. This enables a combination of lamp types; fluorescent uplight and either fluorescent, LED or MR11 halogen or spotlights downwards. The control gear is located within the extrusion and because of this, lamps can be located end to end providing a continuous system. While still maintaining the extremely popular minimal shapes of the Slot and Micro extrusions, this product can be suspended or wall mounted and manufactured to suit each application s specific requirements with joins and corners. 23

17 S L O T B L A D E 95 mm The Slot Blade system is designed for lighting flexibility using a wide range of T5 fluorescent, spotlights, LED or MR11 halogen downlights. With four mounting options, Slot Blade can be integrated into almost every architectural design. All fluorescent Slot Blade building blocks are supplied complete with ice diffuser. The ballasts are placed on a gear tray that is located behind the mirror optic, which allows for end to end lamping. The LED or MR11 halogen lamp option is recessed into the aluminium lid and as with the fluorescent, all electrical components are located within the extrusion allowing for safe operation and maintenance. Slot Blade also comes in an interior IP55 fluorescent wall or ceiling mounted bathroom fitting. 33

28 MICRO BLADE Micro Blade allows for the designer to create lighting solutions utilising a fittings rather than systems approach. Micro Blade products integrate into a wide range of applications due to their compact scale. When utilising the T5 fluorescent technology, the gear trays are usually located at the end of the lamp unit or in the case of the piggy-back ballast option, mounted to the back of the extrusion. The LED or MR11 halogen downlights are flush mounted into the aluminium lid and both the downlights and the spotlight versions have the transformer located within the extrusion. In all cases, this integrated electrical system allows for safe operation and maintenance. 55
