2 RUNWAY WALL PRODUCT SPECIFICATION INTRODUCTION The Runway Wall compliments our recessed and suspended Runway ranges to provide an architecturally attractive luminaire for wall mounting in a wide range of applications such as corridors, receptions and offices. With an extruded aluminium housing and die cast aluminium end caps the Runway combines both a quality finish with a minimal aesthetic. The Runway Wall is supplied complete with a pair of mounting brackets to provide both cable entry and mechanical fix to walls. The Runway Wall is available in a range of options including black or white finishes, opal or microprismatic diffuser options white tunable and a wide range of dimming variants. 5 RUNWAY WALL PRODUCT SPECIFICATION WARRANTY All Dextra products are supplied with a 12 month warranty for any defect that may occur with the product during this time. Any defect will either be repaired on site free of charge or the defective product may be replaced on a chargeable basis and credit given against defective product returned. The course of action taken will be at our discretion and dependent on the nature of the defect. The control gear within our high frequency and LED luminaires is further underwritten by our suppliers for a period of up to 5 years in total from the time of purchase. This comprises labour and parts for the first 3 years and free of charge components only for the final 2 years. PROTEC LED FR 8W GU10 luminaires and all Emergency LED ranges such as LED 3, EXI, HBE, OAT, OEZ, AME, OEH and TWS * are exempt from the 5 year warranty and are supplied with 1 year warranty only. PROTEC LED COB luminaires are supplied with a three year warranty for replacement luminaires only. All warranties are subject to correct use of the product and will be invalidated by misuse, for example incorrect installation or unsuitable environmental conditions. It is the duty of the customer to ensure that all relevant tests have been carried out prior to requesting site visits or replacement products, for example replacement of lamps, commissioning of sensors and inspection of external wiring. In the event that no defect is found with the product our costs for attending site will be recharged to the customer and credit will not be issued against returned products. No consequential losses incurred resulting from any defect with our product will be reimbursed. Consumable commodities such as lamps, starters and batteries are excluded from these warranty terms. Batteries are supplied with a twelve month warranty only. 5 year warranty on LED product ranges is subject to a maximum of 4000 operating hours per year and only applies where failures exceed the component manufacturers expected failure rate and lumen depreciation. 7 Runway 1000mm &1500mm Wall Mount Installation V / 50-60Hz IP20 IK WARNING - THIS LUMINAIRE MUST BE EARTHED This luminaire has been tested and is manufactured to comply with BS EN : specification for general requirements and tests. It should be installed by a suitably qualified person in accordance with IEE. CAUTION: there is a potential risk of electric shock from the LED boards when the product is operational with the cover removed. NOTE: INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF THE LUMINAIRE BEYOND ITS SCOPE OF SUPPLY WILL INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY. DIL Screw in first to test fit location of bracket and fully tighten once in the correct location. Drill a hole through the wall as this is where the mains wire will come through Screw in last to secure into place 2. Tilt runway onto front lip of the spring clip. 692mm for 1000mm Luminaire 1184mm for 1500mm Luminaire 3. Tilt the rest of the way until it clips over the spring. Push towards the wall until you hear or feel it click into place. Make sure runway is on top of the spring on the front face. Feed mains cable though the hole in the wall Feed Wire Through grommet into the Runway Extrusion Fasten Screws to hold runway in position Open the starter bracket to allow access to the terminal block. 8 Runway 1000mm &1500mm Wall Mount Installation 6. Feed mains cable in through grommet in rear of trunking. Wire into marked terminals as required. 7. Fold starter bracket back into trunking after wiring in mains cable Push small tab under lip in trunking to lock in place. Connect looms from first gear tray and the starter bracket and between the two main gear trays if applicable. 10. Locate all tether brackets and clip gear trays to each bracket in the trunking. (Shown without end cap) 11. Raise gear trays up into the trunking and engage on small leaf springs as shown. NOTE: END CAP NOT SHOWN TO SHOW LEAF SPRING DETAIL. Clip all trays into trunking and allow the trays to hang. 12. Unpack the diffusers carefully and offer up into the trunking once gear trays are secured in place. They should snap into place easily. Locate all tether brackets and clip gear trays to each bracket in the trunking. (Shown without end cap) Push bend out tab down to hold terminal blocks in place 9. Raise gear trays up into the trunking and engage on small leaf springs as shown. NOTE: END CAP NOT SHOWN TO SHOW LEAF SPRING DETAIL. Clip all trays into trunking and allow the trays to hang. 10. Unpack the diffusers carefully and offer up into the trunking once gear trays are secured in place. They should snap into place easily. 12. DIL Fold Lid down and fasten into place. 13.
