This product catalogue is a complete Restrained Plug and Receptacle information guide enabling selection of the correct Plugs, Receptacles and for the application and cable requirements. The Minto Range is certified / approved to comply with the specifications of Australian Standard AS99. Mining coupling systems are designed for a very demanding environment and are able to withstand the day to day harshness and effects of Coal and Metaliferous mining applications. To do this the mining plugs and receptacles form part of a system, which when coupled together creates a robust, Explosion protected connection. The Restrained Range of products are used to monitor and supply power reticulation systems and mobile equipment such as Shuttle cars, Continuous Miners, Longwalls and Drill Rigs in Underground Coal and Metaliferous mines. The standard range of equipment is a phase connector using a late make early break pilot connection for safety and has an earthed phase barrier for protection against interphase faults. Products designed to AS99 are designed for a restricted earth fault system. M.I.P.
