4 RiDE TM FUNCTIONALITY THE WORLD S FIRST DUAL THROTTLE HANDLEBAR CONTROL SYSTEM. Yamaha s patented RiDE (Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics) provides a new and innovative way to control your WaveRunner when running, turning, decelerating and reversing. There s no manual shifting, no gears, no complicated process. RiDE allows you to control the direction of the watercraft, even when reducing speed, while ensuring you maintain a secure riding position with both hands on the handlebars at all times. REVERSE THRUST FORWARD THRUST With the jet thrust deflected to the sides of the craft, RiDE TM is able to reduce roll forward, minimise spray and help the rider to maintain a natural position during deceleration. By optimising the shape of the reverse gate, the difference between left and right jet thrust can be adjusted via the steering, thus enabling the rider to turn even when at a reduced speed.
