FZ and FX models Y.E.M.S. - Yamaha Engine Management System Adjustable Tilt Steering An integrated, computerised management system that controls and adjusts such functions as ignition timing, fuel injection mapping, engine diagnostics and off throttle steering (OTS). The OTS function of Y.E.M.S. activates when the operator releases the throttle lever and attempts to steer the watercraft. This assists the operator in turning while the watercraft is decelerating. A simple click. That s how easy it is to set the 4-step steering position to a comfortable angle and height that matches your riding style and personal preferences (FX models). A 3-step telescopic steering adjustment system is a feature of the new FZ models. 11 Yamaha Sound Suppression System (YSSS) Rear View Mirrors YSSS is a technically advanced system that greatly reduces sound intensity levels. It uses an ingenious array of resonators, a through-hull exhaust and special intake baffles to dramatically reduce noise - not just to improve quality of life for our riders, but for other people too. These large and stylish convex mirrors are designed and positioned to give a wide field of vision; they help you keep a watchful eye on passengers and wakeboarders, as well as giving you a clue as to who might be following in your wake! FZ and FX models, VX CRUISER and VX DELUXE. Multi-function instrument panel The best seat on the water The FX Cruiser SHO features this stylish panel with large analogue speedo/tachometer unit. Clear and accurate readouts are provided for fuel level, air and water temperature, compass heading, battery voltage and running hours. Automatic alerts for low fuel, low oil pressure and overheating are other features of this neat and impressive package. Easy-to-read instrumentation Just pack up and go All models (except SuperJet) feature digital multi-function metering with speed, tachometer, fuel level, running hours and battery voltage; plus automatic alerts for low fuel, low oil pressure and overheating. Our FX and FZ models also feature an analogue speedo/tachometer unit. Generously sized water-resistant storage facilities, bow lockers and beverage holders, as well as a great deal of useful space for personal items and accessories are featured on most models. A handy glove box is also to be found on most WaveRunners (except, for practical reasons, the SuperJet). Capacity and features vary by model. Remote security and Low-RPM Mode TM Welcome aboard! A button-push on the remote control disables or re-enables the ignition, preventing accidental start-up or an unexpected joyride you haven t authorised! A special L mode (low-rpm) can also be engaged by a second button on the remote control, reducing the power available to the rider.
