TRAFFIC FLEE/ATTEMPT TO ELUDE POLICE OFFICER AGGRAVATED Jun 04, 2017-Sunday at 02: Location: R-SOUTH UNIVERSITY DRIVE Officers responded to the area of S University in reference to an ISPERN that occurred on I270 at MP6 for possible DUI and damage to property. Sgt. located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on S University. The vehicle refused to stop and took off in excessive speeds on to S University near Hwy 157. Subject then parked the vehicle on the side of the roadway and fled on foot. Subject was located in the woods near Hwy 157. Davis, Rodney B Jr (32 yoa, 8721 Nyflot Avenue, Hazelwood, MO) was transported to the Police Department to be fingerprinted, photographed and processed. Davis was charged with DUI, Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding, improper lane usage, disobeying two traffic control devices, speeding 85/50, no valid driver's license and no valid registration. Davis was also wanted on an active FTA/DWLS warrant out of Macoupin County. Davis was transported to the Madison County Jail at 0515 on 6/4/17 and placed on a felony hold. SIUE PD arrested Rush on the active warrant and he was fingerprinted, photographed and processed. At 21:48 hrs, Rush was transported to the Madison County Jail after being unable to post bond ($3000/10%).
