PROGRAMS offered by the department: School Relation Officers for local schools Secret Witness Number to report anonymous tips Computer Forensics Unit to investigate computer crimes Sex Offender Registration and Community Specially trained Tactical Response Team that includes two (2) fire-medics Domestic Violence Coordinator Car Take Home Program with 35 marked vehicles placed in our service area Civilian Firearms Familiarization Course Stuffed Animal Program to provide stuffed animals for traumatized children Uniformed Bicycle Patrol Officers to prevent crime and for public relations Neighborhood Intervention Program (NIP)-a prevention and visitation program by officers into neighborhoods.
