1 CERSAIE 2017 At Cersaie, Flaminia puts on display its vision of the new bathroom furnishings trends. It also presents an extraordinary new line: Flaminia Lighting, a new company division specialising in light fixture design. Manufacturing excellence, stylistic innovation and technological research are the salient features of ceramic art as interpreted by Flaminia, the leading brand in the field of high-end bathroom furnishings and fixtures. Under the guidance of Giulio Cappellini, the centuries-old tradition of Italy's handicraft laboratories and the forward-looking work of today's best known designers have given life to avant-garde collections, defining the new approach to the bathroom environment that the company is presenting at the 2017 edition of Cersaie, the trade fair to be held in Bologna from 25 to 29 September. In the exhibition halls in Bologna, Flaminia shares with visitors its vision of domestic life, where the bathroom environment has a major role to play in terms of contemporary wellbeing: a totally renewed exhibition concept offers the visitors a multisensory experience, made of colours, forms, textures and details combined in unprecedented ways. A vast area, suggesting the abstract idea of a garden, hosts a system comprised of seven boxes illustrating the new creations by Giulio Cappellini. Each box is a tale that comes to life the minute you walk in: inside, a selection of products by Flaminia unveils new interpretations of contemporary living. Each environment is a chapter in the story of Flaminia design and underscores the versatility of the company's product line-up. Ceramic details, wooden elements, wallpapers and coloured surfaces characterise the seven exhibition areas, creating unique atmospheres. Each space draws inspiration from a different location and evokes its mood, attesting Flaminia's capacity to meet any requirement of contemporary culture with a stylistic language that is eminently current. A perfect blend is achieved of classic environments and dynamic locations, soft atmospheres and design interpretations. Sharing the manufacturing excellence values of Italian-made creations, Flaminia has chosen a number of collections by Lea Ceramiche for the floors and walls of the installations where its projects come to life. In the Dreaming collection, the marble veins and the plastic quality of Palladian stone are recreated in the ceramic articles thanks to highly sophisticated digital printing techniques; the geometric patterns and floral motifs of Queens Mix of thr District line are combined to acquire a contemporary three-dimensional character. A kaleidoscopic setting reveals the many forms of ceramic art created for Flaminia by designers of international renown, such as Jasper Morrison with his Bonola collection, Nendo with Roll and Pinch, Patrick Norguet with his Nile project, Giulio Cappellini with Wash, and Angeletti-Ruzza with their Bloom washbasin. 1 FLAMINIA CERSAIE 2017

Also debuting is NudaFlat, a highly refined console featuring pure forms, notwithstanding its appreciable dimensions. Flaminia also unveils Box, a new line of furnishings eminently suitable for smaller environments, where to have enough room to store objects is of the essence. The collection is comprised of a number of modular wall-mounted elements, available in four different wooden finishes. The collections by Flaminia furnish the exhibition space and reveal a highly refined stylistic search, in terms of forms and colours alike. The bathroom environments are enriched with mirrors, faucets and accessories from the Simple, Si, Fold, One, Two, Nokè and Make-Up lines. On display, besides the interpretations of Flaminia's design experience, are the leading-edge technical solutions recently proposed to ensure that the highest standards of comfort are met. Thanks to its elegance, the goclean system, now applied to many bowl collections (App, Link, Bonola, Nile, Pinch, Io 2.0 and Quick), may be seen as a veritable innovation in the field of domestic hygiene. A working apparatus is on display and may be tested to assess its effectiveness. Again under the banner of innovation, the Plus System technology on display at the trade fair is the solution conceived by Flaminia for use when remodelling the bathroom environment: it simplifies the replacement of old bowls by reducing demolition work to the very minimum. With this technique, in fact, new toilet bowls can be mounted on pre-existing discharge systems, including those born for suspended bowls. At present, Plus System is available on Link, Efi and Quick back to wall toilet models. This year again, at Cersaie, Flaminia demonstrates its vitality and presents Flaminia Lighting, the brand's division specialising in the design and production of ceramic light fixtures. The Make-Up lamps designed Paola Navone can be admired in all their versions, including a new floor model, while the Saltodacqua floor lamp, available in a choice of finishes, features a new, original base. 2 FLAMINIA CERSAIE 2017
