Electronic or Manual Control Regardless of whether an electronic or manual control flushvalve is installed, Schell valves are reliable and a direct mains connection means they are ready for use at all times. For WC applications, dual flush products allow the user to select a half-flush or full-flush. Compliance Schell flushvalves presently comply with Watermark MP52 Spec020 Lic W588, and are scheduled to conform to Australian Standard AS/NZS6400 and a 3 star water efficiency rating. Schell remain committed to water conservation and the newly introduced WELS scheme. Testing is in progress to achieve WELS certification. Always Ready To Flush Thanks to Schell flushing system technology, the WC or urinal is always ready to flush, even in heavily-used public facilities. The duration of the flushing period, and thus the volume of water used, can be adjusted to cater for different levels of usage. Vandal Resistant It is always recommended to install vandal-resistant items in public facilities, which must at the same time fulfil the highest aesthetic requirements. With Schell products, only the push-buttons or switch modules are visible. The reliable flushing technology is concealed or in the wall or ceiling. Hydraulic Recommendations It is important to provide a reticulation to the valve which is designed to proven engineering concepts. In addition to compliance with Local Authority requirements, it is essential that recognized pipe sizing tables and practices are used. Consideration must be given to such matters as velocity, acoustics, type of building, occupancy and location of other fixtures connected to the same pipeline reticulation serving the flushvalve. After careful consideration of these and other factors, the pipe sizing exercise with applicable diversity factors can be established. Operational reliability is observed by an automatic piston cleaning function which is activated with each flush. The supplied flushpipe is height adjustable for installation flexibility. The valve features an integral air break system enabling its approval for mains pressure connection. 6 Urinal Mechanical Flushvalve - In Wall The Schell In Wall Mechanic Urinal Flushvalve provides cost effective on-demand flushing for commercial applications. Adjustable to either 2 or 4 litres flush, the valve will suit either dual or single stall applications, and provides an economical alternative to multi-stall automatic flushing systems.
