7 by: Wise Innovation Technologies BEFORE YOU RIDE Check to make sure that all of the following components are contained within the box of your new 3OND. Platinum e-bikes 3OND folding bicycle Left and right pedals Bicycle saddle Charger and power cord Lock keys for the battery (2) Battery within the frame Before you ride your bike for the first time, please make absolutely certain that it has been correctly assembled. You can do this either by taking it to your nearest bicycle shop, or if you are proficient in bicycle mechanics, you can do the inspection yourself. You must make certain that the pedals, saddle, handlebars and any self-assembly items have been correctly fitted. Check all other nuts and bolts and fixings are properly tightened, paying particular attention to the motor fixings, kick stand, and steering head bearings. Check that reflectors and lights are functioning properly. Make sure the battery is fully charged by checking the indicators on the LCD screen. NEVER drink alcohol and ride your electric bike. The use of alcohol greatly reduces reflexes and limits your ability to ride safely. TIRE PRESSURE Remove the valve cap by turning it counter-clockwise. Using a tire gauge, check that both tire pressures are between 35 to 45 psi/2.4 to 3.1 bar. BRAKES Press the front brake, then move the bicycle forward. If the brake does not stop the bike smoothly, but firmly, adjust the cables of the brake levers. Do the same for the rear brake. SADDLE, AND HANDLEBAR Adjust the saddle to the desired height by pulling the quick release lever outward, then moving the seat post up or down. Squeeze the lever back down. Put some pressure on the saddle with your hands. If there is slippage, release the lever and turn it clockwise, then close the lever. Release safety and lever, and swing the front of the bike towards the back. 3. Release safety and lever, and pull the folding handlebar stem downward. 10 MAINTENANCE by: Wise Innovation Technologies BATTERY MAINTENANCE Though the lithium-polymer battery that comes with the 3OND is built to resist overheating, exposing the battery to extreme heat can not only work against this resistance, it can also shorten the lifespan of the battery. To help prolong the life of your battery, it is best to store the battery at normal room temperature with moderate humidity levels. After 30 charges, allow the battery to completely discharge. Continuous partial discharges creates a condition called digital memory which decreases the accuracy of the device's power gauge. Let the battery discharge to the cut-off point and then recharge to re-calibrate gauge. CHECK CABLE CONNECTIONS First, make sure that the battery is not electrically engaged. Then, check the fit of the cable connectors. If they are loose, push the female and male ends together to close the gap. Press firmly, but do not twist. If the internal prongs feel misaligned, completely disconnect the two ends. Check for any indentations in the plastic surrounding the female metallic insertion points. Though rare, small indentations could indicate that the male metallic ends are being pushed into the plastic instead of the female metallic insertion points. Align the ends properly and reinsert. Electrically engage the battery, then test the electrical functionality of the bicycle. Periodically re-check the connections Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. We recommend all Platinum e-bikes be looked at by an authorized Platinum e-bikes dealer or at the minimum be seen by a local bicycle shop. Regular service checks are encouraged to help maintain the life of your bicycle and its electrical components. If you are mechanically inclined and would like to do some maintenance yourself, the following will help you on your quest to maintain your Platinum e-bikes bicycle and keep it moving beautifully. GENERAL MAINTENANCE Check the tire pressure, the tire tread, and condition Check the left and right brakes. Make fine adjustments. Check that the PAS sensor and magnet are free of debris Remove dirt with a brush and warm water. Never submerge or use a pressure washer. LUBRICATION Lubricate the chain to help prevent corrosion and to provide for a smooth transition when changing gears. CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE FOLDING POINTS Having secure folding points is crucial to your safety. Check the frame folding mechanism and make adjustments using a 3mm Allen key. Check the folding handlebar mechanism by gently wiggling the handlebar back forth. If it is loose or if the folding bar cannot close, adjust the inner screw with a 6mm Allen key or the folding bar with a Phillip screwdriver. [08]

11 by: Wise Innovation Technologies CHARGING The user can opt to charge the battery while the battery is inside the frame or while the battery is removed from the frame. ( V) WHILE BATTERY IS IN FRAME Using the tab as leverage, use a finger to pull upward on the rubber charging port protector, exposing the charging port. REMOVING BATTERY FROM FRAME Fold the bike using the instructions on Page 6. Insert the key into the key insertion point. Turn the key counterclockwise two clicks, then place one hand on the battery that is exposed at the frame's fold. Remove the key, making sure to hold the battery in place until ready to slide the battery out of the frame. Use the folding handle on the battery to help guide the battery out of the frame. Lay battery on its side to prevent it from falling. V CONNECTING THE CHARGER TO THE BATERY After the charger is inserted into the wall socket, the LED indicator light should be green. Insert the charger into the battery. The LED light should turn red if the battery does in fact need to be charged. It will stay green, otherwise. Once the battery is fully charged, the light will turn green. Unplug the charger and be on your way to more adventures on your 3OND! 2016 Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. [09]

12 by: Wise Innovation Technologies USEFUL TOOLS Allen Key Set Crescent Wrench Spray Lubricant Tire levers (as pictured) Bike Pump Inner-tubes TIRE CHANGING FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL The front tire has a quick release system. Flip the quick release lever 180. Pull twist lever counter-clockwise while holding onto the lock nut on the opposite side of the front fork. Pull the skewer away from the lock nut when loose enough to do so. Remove the wheel. REAR WHEEL REMOVAL Put the bike in first gear to minimize the tension on the chain. Loosen the brake cable as necessary to release the tension on the brake. Use a crescent wrench to unscrew the nuts that hold the axle to the frame. If the nuts are very tight, spray some lubricant on the nuts. TIRE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT Deflate the tire by pressing down the inner part of the valve. Loosen the tire beads from the rim by squeezing the tire together all the way around the rim. Take a couple tire levers and ease one in under the wheel rim. Carefully lift upward to pull out the edge of the tire. Leave this tire lever in and repeat the process with another one all the way around the tire until one side of the tire is completely released from the rim Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. [10]

13 by: Wise Innovation Technologies FAQ What is the range of my 3OND? What is the maximum speed? Does it charge when pedaling? How does living in a cold climate affect my bicycle? Can I take it on a plane? On a fully charged battery, the range is anywhere between 20 to 60 miles depending on how the battery is maintained, the terrain, the rider's weight, and other variables. While using assist only, the maximum speed is the max setting on the motor, around 20mph, the legal limit in most states in United States. While pedaling or traveling down hill, the bike can conceivably reach higher speeds. Use caution and consult local laws when traveling on public roads (and private where applicable). The short answer is no. Just as with any bicycle with mechanical brakes, extreme temperatures may require more adjustments to be made. Cold climates may also, momentarily, affect the capacity of the battery. US Federal regulations dictate the size of batteries that are allowed on commercial aircraft. Individual airlines also have their own policies. Consult your airline for specifications. What happens if I lose my key? In the SHOP on the Wise Tech website, click Order Replacement Keys. Include a note upon checkout with the Key Number. A team member will follow up. Can I leave my charger plugged in over night? Yes. The charger contains a power surge protector that communicates with the battery. Once the charger detects a full charge, the charger will stop charging the battery. Is my 3OND waterproof? The electrical components are made to be water resistant for normal use. They are not, however, made to protect against submersion, pressure washers, or flooding. How should I maintain my bicycle? Before your first ride, have a bicycle mechanic tune up your bike. After your first ride, we suggest you get annual tune ups, to prevent brake squealing, to lube up your chain, to properly inflate the tires, and make other adjustments Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. 14 by: Wise Innovation Technologies ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Wise Innovation Technologies sells its Platinum e-bikes products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase, except as noted below. Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers. To obtain warranty service on your Platinum e-bikes product, contact a Wise Innovation Technologies Customer Care Representative for assistance. Please make sure to have the model number of the product available. To better ensure that your Platinum e-bikes product is covered under warranty and to help us better assist you, please register your product at within 30 days of purchase. Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to: Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer, or remote purchasers, to obligate Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies in any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product; improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer s recommended maintenance; water damage; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; or environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies. PRODUCT REGISTRATION All Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. products, including Platinum e-bikes branded products, must be registered at WiseInnovationTechnologies.com in order to validate the warranty. Customer must register the product online within thirty (30) days of purchase. Proof of purchase must be presented. THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. THERE SHALL BE NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS OR ANY OTHER OBLIGATION ON THE PART OF THE COMPANY WITH RESPECT TO PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY. Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc. SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THIS WARRANTY REQUIRE MORE THAN THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY PART OR PARTS WHICH ARE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF THE WARRANTY. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. IF REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR DEFECTIVE MATERIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE PRODUCT SUBSTITUTIONS IN LIEU OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed products, including but not limited to sale of such products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such products by surplus or bulk re-sellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified, without the prior express and written consent of Platinum e-bikes by Wise Innovation Technologies. This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications is not covered under this warranty Wise Innovation Technologies, Inc.
