2 Purpose: present graphical analyses of contest log statistics, and comments serve as a review of the most recent effort enable comparisons with prior years may provide insights into future contests. W0LSD presentation to Glenwood Springs ARC 2
3 2013 CQ WW RTTY post-look Contest time Sept 2013 UTC All times are UTC unless otherwise noted All log data are claimed (prior to log checking). Operators: Ken WØLSD, John KØTG, Jay KØGEO W0LSD presentation to Glenwood Springs ARC 3
4 2013 CQ WW RTTY WØLSD Sept 2013 may have been just before, at or just past the peak of Solar Cycle and 15m were key bands during daylight (vs. 10m in WW RTTY 2012), and 40 was the place to be at night WW RTTY efforts in the next few years may have similar band/time patterns vs The ability to run stations in 2013 was key to QSO rates, points and cumulative score totals The 2Tone RTTY software by G3YYD in N1MM logger was indispensable for copying station call signs, especially for signals with flutter.
