1 WELCOME TO DEWDOCKS! To make dock pricing easy, DEWDOCKS are sold as a float unit A DEWDOCKS Float Unit consists of: Float 3 DEWDOCKS Parts: Your choice of: bow ties, half ties, 4 Header blocks 4 Stainless steel bolts, flats and lock washers Part Port Float All Parts needed are included in the price! This makes calculation of your dock price easy! Blue or Black Bumpers Sold Separately Half Tie Bow Tie 4 Header Blocks including Stainless Steel Hardware STANDARD DOCK PRICE = NUMBER OF FLOATS (equal to the # of units) X $155.00*! For example, an 8' x 20 dock requires 16 floats. The cost is: 16 units X $ per unit = $ * This price includes, bow ties, half ties, header blocks and header block bolts required. The only hard part is deciding on if you want bumpers! Black, blue, or a blue/black combination. For reference, we have included some standard dock layouts with sizing and pricing. In the charts, lumber costs are included for 5/4 x 6 and 2 x 6 Western Red Cedar. When designing a dock; bow-ties are used to connect the floats, half-ties are used to finish the edges (and bumpers, if required optional); all are held in place by a header block and bolt. Lumber is screwed into the header blocks so there is no risk of damage to the float units. For connecting your dock to shore or another dock: consult the accessories section of this manual for our full line of ramping and anchoring kits. Pins, rings, hinges, cleats and other accessories can be screwed into any header block or your deck lumber. If a Bumper is needed on the outside surface of your dock simply use bumper in place of half ties. We have now introduced two corner units to our product list! a 2 and a 3 corner float! These products are also sold as a unit (includes, bowties, half ties, header block and header block bolt as required for your design. The prices are $ for a 2 unit and $ for a 3 unit. These corner units are great for slip ends! Our standard floats are 2' x 3' with part ports on the 3 sides having a 1 offset; and centered on the 2 sides. Bumpers project out from the dock about 2 ½ and are 2 long. If you can t find the dock you require in our standard layouts, we will custom design one for you. We then modify your custom layout to suit your specific needs and desires.
