42 CONCLUSION 216 VS 215 ORGAN DONATION DONOR Increase of 15% positive registrations in the national registry in 216 Highest number of potential donors (= potential + effective donors) increase of 5% Effective donors (+2%) : Increase of amount DBD donors: 7% DBD in 216 (66% DBD in 215) 84% is a liverdonor- 3,4% is a pancreasdonor Potential donors: 36% donor refusals for medical reasons (highest number) Family refusals remains stable (13,1%)

43 CONCLUSION 216 VS 215 TRANSPLANTATION HEART Slight increase of the waitinglist (+6%) Decrease of transplantations (-17%) Higher mortality on WL (17%) LUNG Waitinglist and transplantations still increases (+16% & +12%) Higher mortality on WL (6%) LIVER Waitinglist and transplantations remains the same (+1% & +2%) Lower mortality on WL = 26% in 216 / 36% in 215 Increase of living donation (+28%) highest number

44 CONCLUSION 216 VS 215 TRANSPLANTATION Kidney Slight decrease of WL and transplantations (-2% & -6%) Increase in living donation (+15%) Pancreas Decrease of WL (-1%) Amount of vascular transplantations remains the same
