Design, build, install and commission a Deutz720kVA diesel fuelled standby electricity generation unit, and a Deutz 1200kVA gas fuelled cogeneration package for the Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Station. This unit is synchronized to the grid. The gas engine has now done well in excess of 40,000 hours. (2002) AC CONSULTING WELLINGTON. Design, supply, install and commission eight Deutz powered generation units to provide reticulated power for four remote islands in Ha apai group of Tonga. some of these units have now run in excess of 30,000 hours. (2003) MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL. commission 720kVA 3012TAG6 Perkins standby power generator system for the Council buildings. (2004) AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL. commission 2 x700kva Caterpillar 3412TTA standby power generator systems, including capability for synchronizing, paralleling and peak lopping with an 11kV system for Auckland City Council buildings in the CBD. (2005) ASHBURTON CITY COUNCIL. commission 2 x 225kVA and 1x 125kVA Cummins prime power generation systems to provide back up power to water pumping stations in the Ashburton district. (2005) PORTS AUTHORITY, TONGA. commission 250kVA Perkins 1306 prime power generator system to provide back up power at the Nuku alofa Container Terminal. This included a distribution system. ( ) STEBBING RECORDING STUDIOS. commission 450kVA 2306C Perkins generator synchronizing with the grid. This was supplied to provide back up power for their manufacturing site. ( ) NEW ZEALAND POST MAIL CENTRE, WAIKATO. commission 500kVA Volvo Penta TAD1640GE standby generator to provide back up power to their mail sorting machines. This operates a No-Break return synchronizing system for a minimum disruption on mains. ( ) NEW ZEALAND POLICE, NORTH SHORE. commission a 550kVA Volvo Penta TAD1641GE standby generator to provide back up power to their site. QUEENSTOWN AIRPORT. commission a 550kVA standby Volvo Penta TAD1641GE generator to provide back up power to their site. HIBISCUS COAST LEISURE CENTRE. commission a 450kVA Volvo Penta TAD1242GE standby generator to provide back up power to their site. NEW ZEALAND POLICE, MANUKAU. commission a 275kVA Perkins 1306C standby generator to provide back up power to their site. MASSEY UNIVERSITY/ AGRESEARCH. Supply, installation and commissioning of a 330kVA NT855G6 Cummins standby generator for their site in Palmerston North. PACIFIC ENGINEERING. We supplied three generators to this company for installation in the Pacific Islands. 1x 300kVA NT855G6 Cummins, 1x 500kVA 2806C-E16TAG2 Perkins and 1x 550kVA 2806C-E16TAG1 Perkins. At each of these sites, security of supply was critical. PAK N SAVE, HAWERA. Supply, installation and commissioning of 150kVA Volvo Penta TD720GE standby generator and ventilation system for this site.

2 (2006-Ongoing) AIRWAYS CORPORATION OF NEW ZEALAND. This contract involved the supply of complete back up power generation installations to various sites throughout New Zealand. These installations are based on Volvo-powered generators ranging from 100kVA to 500kVA.Our contractual obligations involve the complete consent process, supply and installation of all fuel and containment systems to comply with the current HSNO legislation. Complete electrical design/build of AC/DC controls, cabling, cable ladders, ducting, etc. Design, build and installation of HVAC systems. All tested to exceptionally stringent site acceptance regimes governed by the international Civil Aviation standards. The security requirements involved all our staff who were to work airside been vetted by Aviation security resulting in these staff holding current airport ID cards issued by The Director of Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand. We have also undertaken comprehensive two day training courses on this project. AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Power Centre 2 Supplying guidance lighting for aircraft on approach, landing, taxi and departure. commission two complete Volvo Penta TAD1640GE generator installations airside (including all of above). These units are operating through an ASCO three source change over system. Power Centre 3 Supplying the Oceanic Air Traffic Control Centre relocate existing generator Ex Power Centre 2 and upgrade to meet HSNO criteria and retrofit complete with new AC/DC cabling and controls. Upgrade existing Caterpillar generator, including compliance with HSNO criteria, including removal of underground bulk storage fuel tank. We also undertook associated soil testing and the reinstatement of excavation and car park. CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Power Centre 2 Supplying guidance lighting for aircraft on approach, landing, taxi and departure. This involved the supply of a temporary generator and source changeover to cover the removal of the existing Rolls Royce generator and related equipment including a 4500L underground diesel tank. This was followed by the installation of two Volvo TAD1642GE powered generators with complete fuel systems, controls, ASCO three source change over system, HVAC etc. This upgrade was competed in one working week including the comprehensive site acceptance testing. AIRWAYS ANDY HERD CENTRE CHRISTCHURCH Supplying the National Air Traffic Control Centre. commission two complete Volvo TAD1242GE powered generator installations (including all of above). This included the added challenge of noise constraints and extremely difficult access, involving a 150 tonne crane to provide adequate lift for generator fuel tank, etc and 40m reach over buildings. AIRWAYS REGIONAL AIRPORT UPGRADES Supplying guidance lighting for aircraft on approach, landing, taxi departure and the control tower Gisborne, New Plymouth, Palmerston North and Woodburne. These all involved the supply of a temporary generator and source changeover to cover the removal of the existing generator and related equipment including diesel tank. This was followed by the installation of new Volvo powered generators with complete fuel systems, controls, source changeover cabling HVAC, etc. These upgrades were all competed in one working week including the comprehensive site acceptance testing. AIRWAYS HSNO/DC UPGRADES Te Weraiti (Kaimai Ranges Waikato) Ruaotewhenua (Waitakire West Auckland) Mt Robertson (Close to Picton) Cass Peak (Port Hills Christchurch) Supplying surveillance radars covering air traffic main trunks. The attributes POWERGEN had earned in previous projects played a significant role in the securing of these contracts, as all of these sites are located in remote difficult terrain with limited room and access. Obviously AIRWAYS were looking for a contractor who could perform these projects on time and within budget in difficult circumstances. WE DID BOTH. These projects involved bringing the existing generator up to current HSNO standards and the upgrading of the DC system to a dual battery bank solenoid and charger system. All of these projects were completed inside five days on site and within budget despite working in subzero conditions on the South Island jobs.

3 AIRWAYS CHRISTCHURCH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CONTROL TOWER Supplying power to operate the control tower when required. This project has involved liaising with Hawkins Construction the main contractor. The supply and install of a Volvo TAD530GE powered generator, fuel system, control panel and cabling into the lower floor plant room of the new forty eight metre Control Tower. The exhaust was required to be in excess of nine metres high. Supplying guidance lighting for aircraft on approach, landing, taxi departure and lighting for control tower. AIRWAYS WHANGAREI REGIONAL AIRPORT UPGRADE refurbishment of the Perkins powered generator and the upgrade of its fuel system to meet the current HSNO regulations. In this case we are including the fuel tank within the generator bath. This meant that the unit can be completed at the factory and fully tested. It was then installed following the removal of the existing Lister generator. The site work was minimal Involving only HVAC mods, a small amount of electrical work and the removal of the underground exhaust and fuel tank vaults. This resulted in little interruption to the site. TRANSPOWER CONTROL CENTRE. This generator was manufactured in our factory to meet extremely tight deadlines. It included manufacture of a complete generator assembly, including fabricating the base frame (incorporating fuel tank), Volvo Penta TAD1641GE and Leroy Somer alternator assembly to the engine also manufacture and attachment of 240/24V DC power supply and controls. For this project we supplied and set up a 400kVA temporary generator and control system which managed the incoming mains and acted as an AMF (auto mains failure) unit while the existing generator was removed and the new generator and control system was installed and commissioned. The project also included design and installation of synchronizing control system controlling two incoming 11kV mains feeding onto a common bus. SELWYN DISTRICT COUNCIL. We were awarded the contract to supply, install and commission a 150kVA TD720GE Volvo standby generator and all associated ventilation and fuel systems. It also included a twelve metre high exhaust system to meet ECAN requirements. This generator is to provide the Council with emergency backup power. This site is the Civil Defence Base for the region. NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF WATER AND AIR (NIWA). Supply, installation and commissioning of 700kVA Perkins 2806C-E18TAG2 standby generator, to provide backup power to their site working with an ASCO closed transfer system. This generator is installed in a purpose built building due to the noise constrains of it been situated adjacent to a residential complex. The generator itself is an enclosed type and this along with the design of the building it is in and the exhaust system we designed and installed has resulted in very acceptable noise levels. WESTERN BAY DISTRICT COUNCIL. Manufacture and supply of three trailerised mobile generators to provide emergency power supply for their many pumping stations in the district. These John Deere powered generators were rated at 70kVA, 110kVA and 300kVA. These are located at strategic locations around the Western Bay to ensure that in the event of an outage at any pump station, power can be quickly restored. TUROA SKI FIELD. This was a client supplied generator. Our scope was to assist with control and design/build of HVAC system. This project created unique challenges that can only be found at 1900 meters in late autumn/ early winter freezing conditions PORTERS SKI AREA. Supply and installation of a 150kVA John Deere generator, involving removal of the existing generator. This project was undertaken during the winter period, which also presented us with some unique challenges. We have since supplied a 60KVA John Deere generator to power their workshop and for two seasons, provided a 500 and 550KVA generators to power their snow making equipment. HILLCREST NEW WORLD. Supply, installation and commissioning of a 500kVA Volvo Penta TAD1641GE generator, to supply this supermarket with complete back up power. ( ) THAMES COROMANDEL DISTRICT COUNCIL. supply and installation of three Volvo powered enclosed type generators, supplying back up power for the Waste Water Treatment Plants in Pauanui, Whangamata and Whitanga Thames District. PAUANUI WWTP. commission 630kVA Volvo Penta TWD1643GE generator and all associated control and fuel systems. WHITIANGA WWTP. commission 570kVA Volvo Penta TAD1642GE generator and all associated control and fuel systems.

4 WHANGAMATA WWTP. commission 630kVA Volvo Penta TWD1643GE generator and all associated control and fuel systems. TAURANGA HOSPITAL. This installation required extremely low break out noise levels which have been achieved. Initially a supply only contract for a V12 Perkins 4012TWG2 powered 1400kVA generator, we were subsequently contracted to assist with design of HVAC and installation of the generator and exhaust system. Supply and installation of 10,000 litre fire rated fuel tank, requiring placement in basement of old coal bunker, with millimetres to spare. NZ POLICE NORTHERN COMMUNICATIONS CENTRE. We have supplied a 350kVA Volvo Penta TAD1240GE generator for the upgrade of this project. Our scope of work involved removing the existing generator from the basement, and installing our new generator and complete exhaust system. This was a critical project - time and resource wise, as the call centre was required to keep operating at its full capacity whilst all work was undertaken. All items within our scope were successfully completed within the time schedule given. FISHER & PAYKEL PRODUCTION FACILITY. A 100kVA standby John Deere generator was installed to supply power to this factory in the event of a power outage. We were requested by Fisher & Paykel to transform their storage garage into a generator room, complete with acoustic louvers and an exhaust system. AURORA ENERGY. We were awarded the contract to design, supply, install and commission a 900kVA Cummins QST30G3 generator to synchronize with the grid. This was installed in the Cardrona Valley to support the existing 11kV transmission. Noise reduction was extremely critical to this project. We appointed our specialist design team to design the 40ft container and successfully achieved an outstanding result of 30 metres. The installation and commissioning on site was challenging with the site being a levelled and metalled area in the middle of nowhere, with no facilities what so ever, not even power or water and the nearest crane was a two hour road trip away. This is yet another specialist project we undertook. MOUNT COOK HERMITAGE HOTEL. We were requested by a consultant company Arrow International to undertake the supply of a 720kVA Iveco Cursor V8 prime rated generator for this project. The generator is now installed and has been supplying power to the hotel during their frequent power cuts. ARCHIVES NEW ZEALAND. This project involved decommissioning and removal of the existing Dorman generator and supply, installation and commissioning of a new 800kVA Cummins QSK23G4 powered generator. This installation also involved civil and building works, and Installation of a 5000L fire rated stand alone fuel tank.we also installed 80m of cables and racking. This passed though the main storage areas of archives some many years old. We were required to ensure there was no contamination by dust or anything else working in these areas. The commissioning involved an overnight shut down as we were required to reconfigure the main incoming circuit breakers and a number of other functions within the main switch broad This involved a lot of co-ordination to ensure the site would not be unduly effected and the work would be completed with in the shut down. MP3 OFFICE BUILDING. We have recently supplied and installed a 350kVA prime Volvo Penta TAD1240GE rated generator for this new office building in Auckland. This is for another of our repeat customers. AF LOGISTICS FOODSTUFFS GRENADA. We have supplied, installed and commissioned a 700kVA Perkins 2806C-E18TAG2 generator at this site in Wellington. This generator is also required to synchronize with the grid. NEW PLYMOUTH HOSPITAL. We have installed and commissioned an 1875kVA prime rated Cummins QSK60G3 generator operating at 415 volt, supplying to a 415 / 11kV step up transformer to generate into the hospital 11kV ring main. This contract also included all civil and building works involving the demolition of existing buildings and the preparation of a plinth to take the new generator and extensions to the 11KV switch room. The generator itself was built in a 40 ft container and tested at our factory as part of the site install. We also completed the fencing and modified the existing fuel supply from the bulk tank.

5 HASTINGS DISTRICT COUNCIL. removal of the existing generator and installation of a new MTU 12V4000G23 powered 1920kVA standby generator. We undertook to design the new room to house this generator, which had a very stringent noise level. These requirements have been meet. We install an above ground fuel storage system which replaced the existing underground system, to bring the complete installation in to line with HSNO requirements. DISTRIBUTION CENTRE. This is a new Distribution Centre in Palmerston North. Our scope was to supply, install and commission two generators 1x 1000kVA prime MTU 16V2000G65TD generator and 1x 400kVA prime Volvo Penta TAD1242GE generator. These have been installed into the building along with the fuel tanks and fuel lines. FRANZ JOSEF HOTEL. We have supplied and installed a 450kVA prime rated Volvo Penta TAD1640GE generator to this new hotel under construction in the South Island, widely known to the industry as the Rainforest Hotel. WATERCARE SERIVICES ARDMORE TREATMENT PLANT supply of a 1000KVA Cummins QST30G4 generator to provide standby generation for the water treatment plant. The project involved modifications to the building to strengthen the floor to support the new generator. As well as alterations to fit the sound attenuation to meet the noise requirements. We were also required to remove the existing 5000L underground tank and undertake soil testing and reinstatement. Having completed this, we prepared and poured a new concrete plinth to support the new 10,000L fuel tank. This tank was positioned below the car park, and to allow access to the dip stick on the top of the tank, we constructed a user friendly bridge as a safe means of access. The installation of the generator itself and the removal of the existing generator required the use of a 300 tonne crane. This was fitted with special rigging, as the location of the generator was over a bank and adjacent to the main Auckland City water supply pipes. Because of this, the generators could not be supported outside the building during the removal and installation. The nearest crane centre point was in excess of 30 meters. This project was successfully completed and included four training sessions for the operators. BRAEMAR HOSPITAL. With the new extension at this private hospital in Hamilton the client required a new backup generator. We have supplied, installed and commissioned a 250kVA Daewoo generator complete With a sound and weather proofed enclosure. PROJECT GREENHOUSE. This project is a new green five star office building in New Plymouth for the Port of Taranaki, where we supplied a 80kVA Iveco generator. We have again worked with the consultant closely on this project right from the conception stage, to ensure all requirements for the client are met. WATERCARE SERVICES HUIA TREATMENT PLANT This project consisted of the demolition of the multiple solid filled concrete block walls and disposal of the rubble. New sound attenuators were fitted in their place, along with a new exhaust system to meet the tight noise requirements. The new tank and 500KVA Volvo Penta TAD1641GE generator, along with the fuel containment were fitted, then the pre-commissioning testing done. This was all completed inside two weeks. This was a follow on project from Ardmore. It involved the supply, setup and testing of a temporary generator followed by the removal of the existing generator and related components, including the bulk storage tank. THAMES HOSPITAL This project involved 180 metres of caballing and racking from the new generator room to the main switch board. This was followed by the installation of an MTU 12V2000G65TD powered 800KVA generator, 5000L four hour fire rated double contained fuel tank, attenuators, fuel lines and exhaust system. HASTINGS HALL PROJECT We carried out a generator installation for a church complex in Hastings involving a 300kVA Doosan powered generator system. Our scope included the exhaust system and a auto-mains failure control system. The Doosan engine represents a costs effective solution often comparable in price to a used generator set.

6 ROTORUA PAK N SAVE Upgrades to a large Pak n Save Warehouse in Rotorua meant that the existing generator was too small. We were contracted to supply and install a 715kVA Prime Iveco powered generator in a soundproof enclosure. The generator works in conjunction with a ASCO 7000 closed transfer switch supplied by others. KAROOLA LTD BLUEMOON POWERGen Group was contracted to supply three John Deere Powered generator sets to provide the sole source of power to the Bluemoon Resort in Fiji. The resort is located on a remote Island in Fiji without mains power. Our scope involved the supply of the exhaust and ventilation systems in kitset form as this was the best option for the client. In this application the John Deere engine was chosen for its record of simplicity, reliability, ease of servicing and excellent parts availability. MASSON IMPLEMENT COMPANY LTD This is an open 20kVA set it is located on the summit of the hills out the back of Masterton this is a standby set to provide power to run the nearby Radio Station. This radio station supports many of the essential communications services. HAWKINS CONSTRUCTION This turn-key project involved the supply and installation of a 30kVA John Deere powered soundproof generator for the head office of Hawkins Construction. The generator is located in the multi level car park building. Careful integration with the existing structure was required in the exhaust system which is routed throughout the car park building and up two levels to the building roof ridge line. The generator supplies essential power to the server which is essential for the nationwide construction company. LIMEWORK & STONES LTD POWERGen Group were contracted to supply a 60kVA Perkins powered generator set to power the Head Office of Limework and Stones Limited. ETHERNET ONLINE Due to business expansion ISP EOL decided a second level of emergency power supply was required for its data facility. POWERGen Group supplied a second 20kVA Perkins powered soundproof generator set exactly the same as the 20kVA unit supplied several years earlier. In event of a power outage the facility now has two separate generator and UPS systems. The generators are installed on the roof level of the complex. COTRACT LANDSCAPES POWERGen group provided a 20kVA Hyundai powered soundproof generator set. The set is used in a prime application to run dewatering pumps in a tunnel being built as part of the Auckland Rail Electrification project. AGRO ACCESSORIES POWERGen Group supplied a 470kVA Doosan powered soundproof generator to run a crushing plant in the pacific Island. RUA HSNO UPGRADE This project was another upgrade of an existing Airways generator and also the removal of an underground fuel tank, and the reinstatement of the asphalt, we also undertook the alterations required to the security fencing and razor wire. Undisclosed This was the supply and installation of a 900kVA generator providing backup power. HASTINGS WASTE WATER This project was an extension to the contract where we earlier supplied and installed a generator. This project involved the set up of contained fuel lines and two double skinned 3500 litre fuel tanks along with access ladders, tool box, fuel panels and all other items required for a complying fuel system. MACKAY ELECTRICAL We supplied Mckay Electrical with three generator sets of which one was a fixed installation and the other two were trailer versions. These generators are all to provide power in the event of a supply emergency for the Mangawhai Waste Water System. GENSET SERVICES This was a 60kVA enclosed type generator supplied to Genset Services in Wellington who in turn installed and commissioned this generator as a standby unit for the lower Hutt Council Offices. TE WERAITI AIRWAYS RADAR SITE This was a HSNO upgrade which involved the upgrading of an existing Airways installation to comply with the current HSNO installations, the location of this site is at the summit of the Kaimai Ranges and involved the removal of an underground fuel tank which was replaced with a 1000 litre fuel tank and all other associated fuel piping and ladders. This work was carried out in arduous weather conditions with extremely high winds and heavy rainfall; once again our team pulled together and battled the odds to complete the project on time. AGRO ACCESSORIES POWERGen Group were contracted to supply a 350kVA Perkins Powered soundproof generator to run a crushing plant in the pacific.

7 AIRWAYS HSNO UPGRADES PC 4,5 & 6 These projects were a continuation with our work with Airways, all of these power centres are located airside at the Auckland International Airport, we ran these projects in conjunction with one another resulting in significant cost savings, this was remarkable as typically airside work is a frustrating time consuming process due to the security constraints. During this time we also upgraded the ageing and unreliable controller on the PC 6 generator, all of these power centres are standby sets and support infrastructure vital to the air traffic control. GISBRONE WASTE WATER This was the supply and installation of a generator and associated equipment including the fuel tank and pipe work, sound attenuation, support frames, complete exhaust system and supports. We have recently received this contract and are in the process of detail product design review and product procurement. CASS PEAK AIRWAYS RADAR SITE upgrade off an existing generator on Cass peak to meet current HSNO requirements; this project was completed on time and within budget including the removal of the underground bulk fuel tank. AIRWAYS WHANGAREI This project was a continuation of our relationship with Airways and involved the removal of the set up of a temporary generator and ATS while the existing generator and disuse tank vault were removed, this was followed by the installation of a newly set up generator which had been removed from another Airways site. This generator had been refurbished at our factory and set up and fully tested in a new aluminium bund which also houses the fuel tank meaning that the installation and testing on site was a seamless process. UNITED WATER INTERNATIONAL PTY LTD POWERGen Group were contracted to supply and install a 80kVA and 150kVA Perkins powered generator systems to provide backup power for the Ruapehu District Council Water Treatment Stations. Our scope involved the generator sets, electrical cabling and installation of the change over devices within the mains switch boards. WAITOMO CAVES As part of an upgrade of the popular Waitomo Caves complex the operated decided to install a reliable back up power system. POWERGen Group supplied the electrical contractor with a 13kVA Perkins powered soundproofed generator complete with AMF, water heater and battery charger for this task. MOUNT ROBERTSON This was another HSNO upgrade for Airways involving the installation of a new chassis, containment bund, fuel hosing, filters, tank, and DC starting system and removal of the underground fuel tank and alteration of the existing Exhaust and discharge air ducting. You could say what s the big deal about that, well take the following into account: Site location: 1000m above sea level between Picton and Blenheim Access: A near vertical four wheel bike track that is marginal at the best of times. Timing: The winter snow and ice to deal with Transport: Helicopter only meaning we had the weather, weight and cost against us Security of the supply to site: The site needed to have a back up power supply throughout the project but it was not feasible to set up a temporary generator. We were able to complete this job on time and within budget with a significant saving on the expected Helicopter hours. (2010 ) STRAIGHT SHIPPING POWERGen Group supplied a 60kVA Cummins powered generator set, configured to marine specification. This unit acts as the emergency generator on board a Cook Straight Ferry. ( Ongoing) ART GALLERY supply and installation of 1600kVA Prime MTU 12V4000G23 powered generator system, cooled by the client s plate heat exchanger system which is connected to the site cooling tower system. The generator control system has the ability to synchronise in peak lop and baseload modes using the ComAp InteliSys-NT controller which controls the two incoming feeders. A below ground 20,000 litre double skinned envirotank is utilised for fuel storage. In order not to interfere with the existing structure the generator is located underground in the car park area, The unique demands of a heritage site meant that the discharge outlets for the exhaust stack and fuel tank vent were carefully concealed from view. WESTINGHOUSE RAIL We supplied this 20kVA generator to Westinghouse Rail who had the contract for the new signal system for the New Market Rail Upgrade. We installed this generator and an auto change over system in a 10 foot converted shipping container to give a secure compact house which could fit within the confines of the rail corridor, this generator is a standby unit to ensure that the signal system continues to run in the event of a power outage ensuring the safety of all rail users.

8 ( Ongoing) UNDISCLOSED PROJECT This undisclosed project involves the turn key installation of two 650kVA Perkins 2806 powered generators. The generator sets utilise the top of the line InteliSys-NT control system to operate 24 sets of motorised circuit breakers throughout the 11 level site. The InteliSys-NT is programed to carry out a multitude of load shedding scenarios according to the conditions of the mains, site load and the status of each generator. The generators are synchronised with the mains and have the ability to run at full load against the grid for testing purposes on a monthly basis. Space limitations on the roof, level 11 where the generators are located meant that there were a number of constraints on the physical dimensions of the generator enclosures which were custom built to meet the unique needs of this project. Our scope also involved the installation of a fuel system with two 10,000 litre fire rated fuel tanks and a fuel delivery system, up eleven levels in the building services riser. The fuel systems are completely isolated so that an issue with one system will not affect the other. HALLS TRANSPORT This is a 450kVA enclosed type generator, which is been use as a standby generator to power the central Halls Transports Distribution Centre in Auckland in the event of a power outage. (2010- ongoing) WAIKATO HOSPITAL This project involves the turn key installation of a generator system to provide standby powered to the 800 bed Waikato Hospital through the 11KV ring main. The generator system involves four 1000kVA MTU 16V2000G65TD generators synchronising together across the generator switch board at 400V. The top of the line InteliNT control system also synchronises the generator system with the mains across either of the 11KV mains incomers which act in duty and standby. Our scopes included the complete acoustic attenuation scope using 2400mm long acoustic attenuators, 24,000 litre fire rated fuel tank and delivery system and power cabling through to the step up transformers. POWERGen Group s ability to carry out this relatively complex project utilising our in house resources demonstrates the multifaceted capabilities of the POWERGen Group of companies. The project is in the process of being completed in early MANAWATU MILLING POWERGen Group supplied a 150kVA Perkins soundproof generator to power part of a flour milling plant. The generator is running on a prime basis and is used to supplement the demand for mains power to the site effectively saving expensive lines charges. (2010- Ongoing) AIRPORT TERMINAL An Airport is carrying out the construction of a new integrated terminal in order to meet the upcoming needs of the Rugby World Cup. POWERGen has been contracted to carry out the turn-key installation of two 1000kVA MTU 16V2000G65TD powered generator sets. The engineers design involved a dual heat exchanger and radiator cooling system which gives the generators the ability to be cooled either via the skid mounted plate heat exchangers or the factory fitted radiator should the PHE cooling circuit not be available. The level two installation involves a self supported spring isolation system to minimise structure borne vibration throughout the airport terminal and lounge complex. The project is being completed within critical timeframes which are required to ensure that the complex is ready for the upcoming Rugby World Cup. SEAGROVE AIRWAYS HSNO UPGRADE This is a further project involving the HSNO upgrade of an existing Airways generator; we are expecting to start on site in the near future and have everything we can possibly fabricate and all other materials down to nuts and bolts packaged and ready to send to site. (2010 ongoing) WILLIS CENTRAL POWERGen Group was awarded the project for the supply and installation of a turnkey generator project for the Willis Central Project in Wellington. The main tenant for this complex Telecom had some specific requirements for the generators cold start capability. In order to meet these requirements in the most efficient manner possible we carefully evaluated all possibilities for the diesel prime mover. To meet these specific load step requirements the Mitsubishi S16R PTAS engine was found to be an excellent choice at a cost effective price. Our scope for this project involves the installation of the soundproofed 40FT containerised generator package on level 6 of the building complex. We are also improving the fuel storage and delivery system with 1,000 litre roof mounted and 7,200 litre basement mounted fire rated fuel tanks and delivery systems. The project is ongoing with completion due in Late MICHAEL MILL (Cowboys Paradise) This is a 60kVA enclosed generator; it is operating as a prime power supply for a shooting lodge in the vicinity of Hokitiki on the west coast of the South Island.

9 LANDCARE RESEARCH, LINCOIN UNIVERSITY POWERGen Group were contracted to supply a 250kVA generator for the Lincoln University based Landcare Research Facility. The generator is also to be utilised for grid support for the local utility and is fitted with a DSE7520 synchronising controller which was the client s preference. Due to the close proximity of a residential boundary and the proposed non-emergency application a lower than usual noise level was required. POWERGen PG Platinum Series canopy fitted this requirement perfectly with a sound level of 75dB (A) at 1 metre. BRISCOES This project is the supply of a 100kVA open type generator which we have installed in a 10 foot converted shipping container. The purpose of this is to provide a good looking but secure and compact generator installation as security and space are both major issues in this location; this generator is to replace a much smaller unit that can no longer cover the standby requirements of their head office server room. As a result of upgrading the generator the cabling and ATS also need to be upsized. We will shortly be installing a new 90 metre cable run and be doing the civil work to provide a platform for the new generator, followed by outside business hours outage to install the new ATS change over switch and preform commissioning. PORTERS SKI AREA. We have had an ongoing relationship with Porters Ski Area for number of years. Starting with the supply of a 150kVA generator to run the ski field base camp this was followed by the supply of a 60kVA prime powered generator to supply their workshops. Over the last three years we have been hiring generators for their snow making operation, as the ski field developed the decision was made to purchase permanent generators. Having analysed their needs, two 500kVA Perkins generators fitted in super silenced containers were supplied and have been in service since the beginning of the 2010 snow season. ENVIRONMENTAL BAY OF PLENTY Environmental Bay Of Plenty have purchased a 45kVA and 180kVA Perkins powered generators. This is to ensure that Environmental BOP can provide full services in the event of a natural disaster which will typically take out the power and limit their ability to offer urgent response in time of need, an interesting requirement with the supply of the 180kVA is that the installation must be on an elevated platform to ensure continuity even if the Whakatane river was to reach its highest possible flood levels which would in fact swamp the lower level offices. AIR NEW ZEALAND LOUNGE Air New Zealand Lounge consists of a Perkins 350kVA generator installed in a sound attenuator room. This generator will provide emergency power to the Air New Zealand regional lounge in the event of a power outage meaning that Air New Zealand can offer its customers guaranteed service. PORT OF TAURANGA This is a 100kVA Perkins powered generator that was supplied on to the Port of Tauranga, this generator is providing back up power for the sever room and operations offices of one of the larger stevedore providers. PAPAMOA PAK N SAVE This was the supply and install of a Cummins powered 820kVA generator to supply standby power to the recently completed Papamoa Pak n Save super market, this site has particularly low sound requirements which we were able to meet as a result of experience gained from other previously successful projects. SHIPCO This was the supply of two Perkins powered 60kVA keel cooled generators which are to be installed to provide power on a luxury launch. ROTORUA DISTRICT COUNCIL This was the supply of a 600kVA Perkins powered generator which is mounted in a container. This generator had to have special protection for the highly sulphuric environment and be easy to move about from site to site. OTUMANGA WASTE WATER PUMP STATION removal of the existing lister generator from the Tauranga City Council Otumanga Waste water pumping station. This generator was replaced with a Perkins powered 150kVA generator to cover the increased load of the upgraded pumps and to insure continuity of pumping during a power outage which often coincides with significant increases in flow due to storm water infiltration during storms. SWAMPY SUMMINT This project was a further generator upgrade requirement by Airways Corporation. We secured the project largely due to our proven track record of completing jobs on time and within budget. The job consisted of the removal of the existing Dorman and replacement with a 60kVA Perkins powered generator and also the replacement of the control system. This job was completed in arduous winter conditions on the summit of the hills surrounding Dunedin.

10 PLANT AND FOOD This was the supply and installation of a Perkins powered 180kVA generator to the new Plant and Food glass house research centre. The generator is required to insure that the hi-tech extremely concretive research and development projects continue uninterrupted even during lost of power. HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL This project involved a complete HSNO upgrade of the existing generator providing standby power for the underground car park in central Hamilton. There were a number of aspects to this project which presented significant challengers such as access to the generator room been approximately 80 metres though the car park building with clearance of only 2 metres. We had to shift the new 4 tonne fire rated tank over this distance. All work needed to be carried out between 7:00pm and 6:00 am to insure the generator was available for service during all car park operating hours. Although this project consisted of several hundred man hours it was completed over two consecutive nights with careful planning and preparation and committed resources. BLENHIUM FIRE STATION This was a turnkey project which involved a concrete plinth and bollards the supply and installation of a Perkins powered 45kVA generator and the modification and installation of an Automatic Transfer System within the main switch board. It also involved the removal of the existing single phase generator and the reconfiguration of all the sub boards. RESERVE NORTH This project consisted of the supply and installation of a Perkins powered 450kVA standby generator in the luxury Kawerau Falls Queenstown apartment complex. MCMILLIAN DRILLING This was the supply of a Perkins powered 350kVA generator providing prime power for pumping equipment associated with test bore equipment. It is vital that the generator provides non stop power for the duration of the tests which may last 72 hours or more. HUTT VALLEY DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD This project consists of the supply and installation of two Perkins Powered 450kVA generators to the Hutt Valley District Health Board these generators will both be synchronised together and run parallel to the mains. Our scope is to also provide a dedicated generator synchronising switchboard and mains breaker controller and protection system. INSULFOAM This was the supply and installation of Perkins powered 60kVA generator which was custom modified to fit inside a truck, it involved building a support frame that incorporated the generator and a large three phase compressor. The generator provides power to run the compressor and associated equipment to enable production and installation of foam based direct injected residential thermal insulation from a mobile rig. TE AWAMUTU PAK N SAVE This is the supply of a 820kVA Cummins Powered generator that is shortly to be installed in the new Te Awamutu Pak n Save to insure the super market has business as usual even in the event of a power cut..
