2 The beginning The KNUBIX-company was founded by Markus Michelberger in He was searching for a solution to use flatroofs for efficient energyproduction and a system that... doesn t need roof-penetration, so the roof stays solid without holes is lightweight so it doesn t add much load to a roof is stable and lasts on the roof even in strong winds is fast and easy to install The result was the KNUBIX SR-System!

3 Why flat-roofs? The installation of photovoltaic-plants on roofs especially flat-roofs has many convincing advantages: the energy is produced where it s needed e.g. producing companies, stores, malls shade-free location of the plant secure: no theft, no vandalism, no damage due to animals etc.

9 Quick installation: 1. Installing floor-rails Measuring, laying of protection mats, sections are lined up and joined together with profileconnectors. 2. Module-supports Measuring row divisions, front and rear supports are clicked into place. 3. Module mounting Modules are placed onto the module supports, attached with the clamps and the cables connected. 4. Closing of the system Wind-plates and spoilers are attached. 6

10 Modules: The KNUBIX-Systems fit for all framed modules with a width of mm (length flexible). The Systems can be used for plants from 5 kwp up to MWs. Special recommendation: The ITS Eco plus Module with 250 W has a authorized snowload of Pa.

23 String Connection Box The CONNECTOR is for large-sized PV installations. Convincing in technology, design and quality. During the installation, it offers a high degree of safety.

24 String Connection Box The strings are wired in our CONNECTOR near the modules. Only the DC main cables (positive and negative) must be connected to the central inverter.
