The Grindex Proline range is equipped with the patented protection system SMART that guarantees correct motor rotation and prevents motor overheating allowing your Grindex to work without supervision in the toughest environment. This range is, of course, available with all the accessories required, and complimented with some special versions to serve all your needs. 2

3 DRAINAGE WATER : open impeller SLUDGE : vortex impeller The air valve allows the pump to run dry. It opens as soon as there is no more water in the pump, and allows the hot air out, allowing the pump to keep cool. 7 The highly abrasive-resistant polyurethane diffuser is adjustable to maintain optimum pumping performance. 2 The corrugated stainless steel outer casing gives more than twice the strength of a plain casing. 8 The reinforced cable entry ensures strong cable attachment The SMART system protects the pump and therefore comes with a 2 year warranty against dry burn-out. Two sets of mechanical seals, working independently to prevent water penetration. The class F insulated stator can handle a maximum temperature of 155 C but trips at 130 C to protect the motor The single phase pumps are provided with a double capacitor a large one to start the pump, another to run the pump. All the pumps can be easily moved by carrying handles or eyebolts. Discharge connections can be vertical or horizontal, threaded or grooved. 6 The chromium-alloyed white cast iron impeller (55 HRC) exists in two versions : open for the drainage pumps and Vortex for the sludge pumps. Patented protection system SMART: 4 motor protections ROTASENSE: To ensure correct motor rotation The unique Rotasense system ensures that the motor only runs in the correct direction. It eliminates potential overheating, abnormal wear or overloading. AIR VALVE: Dry running protection As soon as the pump runs dry, the air valve automatically opens. The impeller starts to act as a fan cooling the motor, bearings and seals. Therefore, the pump can run dry over extended periods without damage. TEMPERATURE GUARD: To protect from overheating Grindex pumps feature three temperature guards to automatically break the supply if the temperature in any stator winding exceeds 130 C. PHASE GUARD: To protect from single-phasing This controller stops the pump as soon as one phase is lost during operation to prevent serious damage to the motor. As soon as all the phases are restored, the pump starts automatically. 3

10 ACCESSORIES TUBO KIT Reduces the diameter of MINOR, MAJOR, MASTER with a diameter of only 285 mm. DRYFLO DRYING COLLAR Allows pump to reduce the level of standing water to 2 mm. THREADED OR HOSE TAIL DISCHARGE CONNECTION TANDEM CONNECTION FLANGES Allows the installation of two pumps in series which doubles the maximun discharge height while maintaining flow.
