1 PR Vehicle Thank you for booking the public relations vehicle. Please note whilst the vehicle is in your care it is your responsibility to report any defaults, to leave the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition, to leave the vehicle fully fuelled for the next user, to leave the vehicle at Taunton station and to ensure the keys are left in the drop box. You are reminded this is a Trust vehicle and caution on the road must be paramount. Please drive carefully and responsibly at all times. The vehicle is kept at Taunton Ambulance Station, Lisieux Way, Taunton TA1 2LB. The keys are left in the drop box, the code will be sent to you when your booking of the vehicle is confirmed, if you have a problem accessing the drop box please contact Paul Forward at Taunton workshops for the code when picking up the vehicle. Once you have located the keys you must carry out a Vehicle Daily Inspection. This should consist of a general observation of the vehicle to identify any damages, leaks or any other defects. Check the fluid levels under the bonnet, (Oil, Brake Fluid, Coolant and windscreen washer fluid). Bonnet catch located in the passenger foot well. Check the Tyres, Lights and general cleanliness of the vehicle. Check fuel & Wipers and washers. Steps Once you have arrived at your destination and are ready to set the vehicle up please follow the below instructions: Please ensure the log book is fully completed Ensure the hand brake is fully on please note the hand brake is on the right hand side and not the left Take the keys to the side doors and unlock the padlock, the key to the padlock is on the PR keys, please do not lose the padlock, and keep it in a safe a memorable place. There are two large metal steps placed in front of the door, please be cautions when lifting these steps as they are heavy and awkward to carry, bring both stairs out of the vehicle and place on the floor Climb into the vehicle and look for the black and yellow tool box, you will need four long bolts, the screwdriver, and the second door lock for the right side door Climb out the vehicle and attached the right side door to the hinges on the back of the vehicle securing it with the lock you retrieved out of the toolbox Once both doors are secured, line up the steps to the vehicle, start screwing the bolts into the steps and tighten with the screwdriver.
