2 Strand Jacks Strand Jack Systems have all been specifically designed for lifting, lowering and pulling, incorporating many special features to optimize their ease of installation and use, including speed of operation, synchronization and accuracy of control. The current range of standard units offers safe working capacities up to 775 Tonnes per jack, and with proven operating speeds up to 60 metres per hour. Each jack consists of a bottom anchor assembly, the main hydraulic piston and a top anchor assembly. Operation of the main hydraulic piston moves the cable throughh the jack, automatically transferring support between the top and bottom anchor assemblies and thereby lifting the load. Lowering operations utilise secondary hydraulic systems built into the two anchor assemblies, working in conjunctionn with movement of the main piston, to safely lower the cable through the jack. 4 Strand Jack Power Packs Power packs are selected to produce the optimum working speed for a particula size, and number of jacks in the intendedd usage. Motive power is provided by either electric, or diesel engines, again to suit the particula requirement. Individual power packs automatically prodive synchronised operation of multiple jack systems, incorporating selector switches which enable all, individual, or any combination of jacks to be operated from a single control lever. All control levers are of the dead mans handle type. Proven designs cater for multi-line outputs of up to 90 litres/ min/line at continuous working pressure up to 400 Bars. Reduced flow outputs may be incorporated for local fine positioning if required. All systems may be operated from a local control panel incorporated within the power pack, or from a remote control panel operating through the power pack, or packs.
