2 1) New design with a simple, modern and robust image The control panel layout was changed and a new exterior design using plastic resin parts, etc., with numerous curved surfaces and edges is adopted. While maintaining the robust image of the current model, it creates a design with a simple and modern look.

3 2) Large-capacity 28 Litre fuel tank for longer running time The fuel tank capacity is increased from 25 litres on the EF6600E to 28 litres on the new EF7200E. This combines with the performance of the new MZ360 engine and the effect of the Economy Idle switch to achieve longer continuous running capability.

4 3) Extra large muffler for super quiet operation The extra large muffler reduces noise level for super quiet operation. Muffler

5 4) High-strength frame to ensure reliability in tough use environments To accommodate usage in tough use environments such as construction sites, a high-strength single-unit frame with larger-diameter pipes (increased from 25.4 mm to 28 mm) is adopted. This results in 20% greater frame strength than the current model and ensures a high level of reliability. Pipe diameter: 25.4 mm 28 mm + single-unit frame = 20% increase in strength

6 5) Compact body for excellent storage efficiency and portability Mounting the battery inside the frame, as opposed to outside on the current model, makes for a neater, more compact body that improves storage efficiency and portability.

7 6) Wax pellet type automatic choke for increased reliability On this EF7200E model, the bimetal coil is replaced by a wax pellet type mechanism with excellent heat transmission qualities that functions across the entire choke range. This makes it possible to eliminate the diaphragm for a more compact and fully reliable choke mechanism. Another important feature of the new choke system is the adoption of a slight offset for the shaft connecting the wax pellet to the choke valve that enables more minute adjustments in the richness of the air-fuel mixture and improves engine start-up performance at low temperatures.

Long non-stop running capacity The new environmentally friendly high-performance MZ360 engine and an automatic voltage regulator-fitted (AVR) generator are adopted to achieve the highest level of electricity output in class while also improving fuel efficiency.

9 8) Economy Idle switch for improved fuel economy and reduced noise An Economy Idle switch is adopted to automatically reduce engine rpm when there is no electricity load (draw) on the generator, thus increasing fuel economy and reducing operating noise. Overseas model shown

10 9) First digital multi-function metre display on a conventional Yamaha generator The digital multi-function metre is used for greater convenience and has longer use potential.
