4 AWARD NUMBER: DATE: November 10, 2006 AVAILABILITY OF ULTRA-LOW SULFUR KEROSENE We have become aware that there are several million gallons of Ultra-Low Sulfur Kerosene available from Apex Oil at the Albany terminal. It has been tested and it meets our contract specifications. Vendors are reminded that all fuel delivered must meet our cold-weather standards. Vendors needing Ultra-Low Sulfur Kerosene should contact Steve Wirkus or Tim Duehren of p6.doc/T03md
5 AWARD NUMBER: DATE: October 30, 2006 LABELING OF TANKS FOR ULTRA-LOW SULFUR DIESEL As Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel enters the market this month, we understand that Ultra-Low Sulfur Kerosene, to be used in the winter mixes, may not be available for at least a couple of months. Vendors are reminded that diesel deliveries must meet all cold flow standards in the above contract Award and must heavily additize this fuel. OGS will allow the use of the old higher sulfur kerosene only in emergencies until Ultra-Low Sulfur Kerosene becomes commercially available, per discussions with EPA. You are only allowed to down grade 20% of your total diesel consumption p5.doc/T03md
6 AWARD NUMBER: DATE: October 18, 2006 LABELING OF TANKS FOR ULTRA-LOW SULFUR DIESEL As Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel enters the market this month, we understand that Ultra-Low Sulfur Kerosene, to be used in the winter mixed, may not be available for at least a couple of months.
