This inventory is being developed for the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation to provide an estimate of the aviation industry s contribution to visibility-related pollution in Alaska s national parks. Under the EPA s Regional Haze Rule, all states with national parks must determine sources and develop a management plan for visibility-related pollution. Ultimately, the data base will also provide a better system for estimating aircraft emissions Statewide. We are seeking similar information that was provided for the Fairbanks CO Emission Inventory, prepared by Sierra Research, Inc. However, the information we seek is for a typical calendar year and not just the winter months. The following information, for a typical year, is requested for both Fort Wainwright and Fort Richardson: 1. Airstrip usage data - number of flights per day (or per week or per month, depending on which is easier to determine). 2. Indication of increased/decreased usage associated with seasonal activity. 3.
